Excellent rates and fast transfers when required - an app would make Chetwood even better

Chetwood bank have always been very clear in what they offer. They make things easy to understand and easy to action. I've had a couple of accounts with them now and everything they promised has happened as they said it would.
I would definitely recommend them.

I had a fixed term savings account maturing and was notified well in advance.
This enabled me to work out what I wanted to do with the funds.
Completing my request to re-invest some funds, with the balance transferred to my nominated account was very straightforward.
My instructions were carried out, so no issues.

Great communication and all went well on maturity of my account but one star deducted for the 3 days apparent loss of interest before the new account was credited as there was a Bank Holiday weekend.

They have the best interest rates. All the information is supplied in a very easy to understand format, very easy to use the on line account.

After searching for the best savings rates Chetwood seemed very competitive. It was straightforward and easy to set up. They gave a good support service which made me feel confident I'd made the right decision.

I had to phone for advice and found both of the Chetwood bank staff extremely helpful and friendly.

They decided to change their name but when doing so stopped customers being able to access any historic information on their accounts. They don't seem aware that customers need to complete tax returns and need access to previous records. Surely any competent bank could have devised a system so that customers had access to their previous records. This is putting the desire to change their name ahead of customers needs - very poor.

Chetwood bank is the Harrods of banking and their customer service is the finest I have ever dealt with.

I very rarely do anything online with regards to banking as I’m a carer for my husband and I don’t have the time or knowledge to deal if problems arise.

However, I cannot fault yet again, the superb customer care I have had from Chetwood when I sent an email asking for advice, only because I didn’t know how to get the information I required.

Abby has been absolutely fantastic in responding incredibly quickly by email, with absolutely perfect ,precise , step-by-step instructions. Even when I was unable to get past the download stage, I sent a screen print as I didn’t understand the error message, and I had such a quick and detailed reply by return that explained it was due to an update on iOS 17 that Apple had done which was causing the issue.Abby even gave me two alternative options that resolved this issue instantly.
The responses to my email queries were so quick and especially today, they have literally been within minutes. So thanks to Abby, this has taken a huge pressure off of me as everything I needed to do has now been done and I’m not worrying about waiting to resolve or getting a response back that doesn’t deal with the issue in hand, which unfortunately I seem to find happens in this world 99.9% of the time now.
A huge thanks to Abby as her faultless customer care has ensured that I have been able to deal with everything I need to extremely quickly. This really is priceless especially in this day and age. Thank you
