ordered a box of mixed eggs and a lot of flavours missed out , the nice flavours .ordered one for my son and his was the same .i didn't bother to get in touch as other customers i can see from reviews have had the same problem

Having used the company for a few months now, I'm extremely impressed with the high level of customer service, & the high quality of their Leonidas chocolates. For many years I purchased Leonidas chocolates from a local retailer, unfortunately, they ceased trading so I had to find somewhere else to purchase them. I came across Chocolate Express, their chocolates are of the same highest quality as I used to buy from my local shop. I like the fact you can self-select items, the boxes are always well packaged & protected, & never damaged! The website is easy to navigate & make a selection. The speed of delivery is amazing, have always received the order on the first or second working day, & considering they have to be flown from Jersey to the UK, that really is an outstanding service! Appreciate that you are somewhat reliant on Royal Mail in the UK to uphold their end of the delivery, but I can honestly say they have never let me down! So to all the team at Chocolate Express, well done, & a very big "Thank You" for being so helpful whenever I've contacted you. Looking forward to my next purchase!

Excellent products and service.
I have used this company a number of times over the last year, most recently within the last week. The products, mostly given as gifts, have been excellent, and the recipients were delighted.
Customer service has also been great. They have gone above and beyond, especially when one of the issues was down to me using the wrong delivery address for a birthday gift, an issue which was quickly sorted by a very helpful lady. I see that other people have had issues, but I cannot recommend them highly enough! Thank you!

I was not a lover of dark chocolate but Leonidas chocolates have changed my perception of that. each and every chocolate is unique and fabulous. The service is first class.

Horrendous service - I ordered a box for Mother's Day, 7 days later, hand't arrived - I checked the system which said delivered so I emailed. I got a horrible email back saying that because I had claimed my orders were 'never delivered' they would not issue a refund - it was a lie and pretty unpleasant customer service - I will be getting a card charegback and not using them again

I am a long time customer of Chocolate Express but be warned that counts for nothing when it comes to customer service. I purchased the 40 assorted mini eggs tub only to find that I received 5 or 6 eggs in each of 3 flavours, needless to say these were the least exciting flavours, plain chocolate, caramel, white chocolate. Disappointingly there were none of the more niche flavours like baileys, manon, raspberry, etc. Very poor selection and not much of an assortment.

On contacting Chocolate Express I was told there is a chose your own selection and to bear that in mind next time. I contacted them to say I wasn't happy with the response and my email was ignored.

Also they advertise free postage on all orders on their site. It's not. It used to be but now you have to spend over £25

Dreadful company and appalling customer service. I will now source my chocolates elsewhere

Ordered box of 60 chocolates and there were only 49 in the box. I counted as the last box seemed less than I ordered, but only realised half way through eating them.

I've spent £150 with them in the last few months and didn't get what I paid for.

Not using Chocolate Express again.

Ordered from this company for someone's birthday. When chocolates were 5 days late, I contacted them and asked when they would arrive.

I was told that I should check with the post office. They would resend but if the originals arrived (which they did a day later) I would be charged twice.

So, ending up with an unwanted second box of chocolates, which I will have to pay for, and charged double. And a disappointed person on their birthday.

Will not be returning.

I'm a long term customer of this retailer and as such expected a little bit of respect when something goes wrong. Purchased an Advent Calendar - a large proportion of the contents were clearly not to the standard expected. Reported to the retailer who refused to accept there could be a problem.
An outrageous attitude which has resulted in them losing a long term high spending customer. It appears from some of the reviews that I'm not alone !

Great chocolates but BEWARE the risks is all yours if your order goes missing even if you paid for the sign for delivery option!
Two previous orders went without a hitch. However, my last order with a sign for delivery option on 13 December failed to arrive. The Post Office claimed they delivered it on 18 December and it was signed for, but I was in the whole day and it never came!
After several exchange of emails with the Customer Service Team, they said they will not issue a refund nor replace the order. They gave me the tracking number and said I should take it up with the Post Office!
So BEWARE before you order!
BTW just discovered the Leonidas Chocolates on Amazon is from the same company!

Ordered two boxes of different chocs as Xmas presents, arrived in identical boxes with identical labels. Customer service advice was to open the boxes to see what chocolates were inside! So now have two opened boxes which cannot really give out as seals are tampered with, £30 wasted terrible company

Best website for Leonidas chocolate! I buy from them often and I've never had a issue. The chocolate is 100% genuine, tastes just like the chocolate I ate in Belgium. Delivery is always fast and all items are carefully packaged. Thanks :)

I recently purchased a box of usually delicious Leonidas Chocolates by mail order. The chocolates arrived in terrible disgusting condition - all melted. Chocolate Express seemed disinterested. Could barely apologise. Refunded order, and nothing more. No offer to replace, or terribly sorry let us send you a replacement and another to apologise. Very disappointed as they were for a special ocassion.

ordered on Sunday , arrived Tuesday with free first class delivery to Sussex .Bought salted caramel mushrooms , as I had tried them in Hasselt Belgium last year ,absolutely delicious . Have used chocolate express 4 times now and never had an issue

Terrible website. Tried to "Choose your own". First time it timed out and selection was lost (there are loads to choose from so naturally it takes ages). Then second two attempts reached the last stage and "Email Error: Could not instantiate mail function. Please check Admin->Configuration->Email Options->Email Transport.". Must have wasted at least an hour or two on this crap.

Chocolate Express are the fastest and cheapest way to get Leonidas chocolates delivered to your door. Our chocolates were dispatched with in a couple of hours and arrived just over 24 hours later even though they come from Jersey! Really impressed. Also love that we can choose our own and the website works well. The loyalty scheme is also brilliant saved me a few pounds. Will be ordering a lot more from them in future.

Leonidas chocolates are very good. Buy them directly from Leonidas though and not this company. For Easter I received a Leonidas gift from this company that came in a 500g ballotin box only containing 200g of: some smashed chocolate egg fragments, a cheap Guylian chocolate and 6 very bashed up Leonidas chocolates. If you buy directly from Leonidas, the chocolates will arrive In perfect condition and cost about half as much.
