Customer Service will completely ignore you

Strap in! This is a long one... Sorry...

For all the people in which cases it worked out fine, that's great! However, there is also a lot of people with which it did not work out. So just ask yourself, is it worth the gamble?

Let me explain what happened to me. I bought a super cute dog chonkey plushie for my boyfriend. It arrived after 2 to 3 months, we were super happy with it! Nice quality, super soft and perfect size. However, we were fighting for the dominance over b*tch (how we lovingly called her). So, we decided to buy another one.

This time we oredered another plushie. It went a bit wrong in the beginning, because I ordered it and recieved a confirmation but then, two weeks later, I still hadn't recieved any update about it being shipped so I asked politely what was happening. I recieved an email (that same day even!) saying that it would be send soon. After which I did not hear anything for over a month. I was beginning to think it wouldn't arrive at all because I never got an email that it had been shipped or tracking or anything like that.

And then it finally arrived. I was super happy. However.... I got the wrong plushie. I did not get what I ordered. So I sent them another polite e-mail about it. And again, I got a reply super fast the next day in fact! They were saying that they were super sorry to hear it, that it was not the experience they want me to have with them and that they would just send me the right one for free and I wouldn't even have to send mine back. So I should expect an email soon with the confirmation of a new order. Needless to say I was super relieved and excited.

This e-mail was about a month ago... Aaaannd I sent them another email a week ago asking what was going on because I hadn't heard anything since. I also sent them a message on facebook because they did not reply to my email. That one was also ignored.

I never write reviews on anything, but I was so disappointed that I hope people will think twice before ordering here.

I have not received my order from them…

I have not received my order from them since 06 Feb 2020. Did not received a tracking number which i repeatedly asked for, but have gotten no response. When i asked for a refund, the answer i received is the order is processed and can't be refunded. I understand Covid 19 can be an issue, but i have not received the product till this date, no refunds and response from the team on this issue.

I can't understand the negativ comments because for me it took 17 days for shipping and I even wrote in them support mail to ask how long it may take and I got an answer the same day! for me it was a very good expericence an service with this shop !

False claims

However the chonky bat has turned up and does seem well made. But still the site misrepresents the product and that hasn’t changed.

I actually don't understand the…

I actually don't understand the reviews. I have had the best customer service since a long time. I have been assisted by 2 real people that always responded to my concerns per email and on social media. Thank you very much Josie and Jean your amazing job. My angry seal pillow is really really chonky by the way ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

If I could give it zero stars

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Ordered months ago and haven't received anything. Asked for a refund and they said they couldn't refund me because it was already shipped. Asked for a tracking number and why I wasn't notified that it had shipped, got no answers. Worst company I have ever ordered from.

Scam site

They do not answer any support requests, only with automated replies.We sadly bought a seal pillow from them last november, which has yet to show up. Stay clear of this site, it's a scam.

I wouldnt even give it one star

I wouldnt even give it one star. 100% scam I've payed 3 times the price for an ikea product. They say that they are the creator's but to receive an ikea something that is a £20 item and be told its a chonkyplushie worth just over £60 thanks

I purchased my Angry Seal Pillow on 1.3.2020 and shipment arrangements were made (according to the company) 15.3.2020

They promised to ship the item in between 12-24 days.

I haven't received any item yet!!

This is a scam! I ordered one of their plush animals for my niece 3 months ago and have not received anything. Absolute scam of a company.

TLDR; ordered and never received product. Company doesn’t answer emails.

TLDR; I paid for a product and never received it and can’t get ahold of anyone after multiple attempts

Per their own website, the shipments arrive 7-21 business days after ordering. Additionally, the website claims to have 24/7 email and chat support

As of today, May 21st, there is no mention on their website about any delay other than a notice concerning orders in January possibly* experiencing delay due to the Chinese New Year

That’s fine, I thought, and I ordered.

Here I am two months later. I never received a text to indicate shipping has taken place. I reached out to their Hotmail email twice with no reply. I later went to their Facebook page to see if I could figure out what’s going on.

That’s when I saw that in February, they posted that operations had temporarily shut down due to Covid.

I’m very sympathetic to this, and I understand the virus is beyond their control.

However, there is / no/ mention of this delay on the website, nor does the post mention how long it will be until customers can receive their orders. It does however claim that we can continue to receive support via their email.

I sent a third email.

I’ve waited a week since then, and I’ve reached out again tonight. Did the business shut down for good? Heck if I know....

I am very disappointed. All I’ve asked for is communication about when I can expect my order. As of tonight, I’ve sent my 4th email and I had a comment posted to their facebook page asking about their production/operation plans

If I don’t receive a reply from them in the next 48 hours with an assurance of when I can expect the order, I’ll be going through my credit card company to request the refund, because clearly they’re not going to respond to e-mail.

What a shame.

Products never sent after almost 6 months

Order of 80$ made in January. In April still nothing (not marked as sent on their website). I contact them to ask what's happening, they answer that they'll get in touch with the service that makes the shipping. After one month without news I contact again and now no more answers. This sounds like a big scam and I don't get how can Facebook let "companies" like this advertise on their website.

Avoid!

I have contacted Chonky Plushies regarding an unfulfilled order and received no response. While I understand there are global shipping problems due to Covid-19, this does not prevent the company from acknowledging my correspondence, even with a holding email.

I have emailed them, then posted a comment on their Facebook which was immediately deleted (among others i can only assume). I messaged them on social media and have been ignored.

This is all at the same time that they are posting fresh adverts on their facebook page, which makes it even more frustrating.

I can only imagine they do not intend to fulfill my order or refund the $51 I paid. AVOID!

Missing delivery item.

Two items were ordered and only one arrived.
no money return option nor response from enquires about missing item
Order was made on 7 of January
only one mail contact was responded to afterwards I guess I was blocked.
