A challenging process but resolved in the end.

My experience is very similar to David's below. My watch sale was moved across from Watchmaster. Despite my watch allegedly being sold there is no sign of the money, just excuses.
Buyers beware. If they haven’t paid the original seller does the watch even belong to you?
Sellers beware. If your experience is like mine expect promises to pay, multiple emails saying ‘Ticket Closed’, but no actual money and of course no watch.
Its sad that a company treats people in this way.
Update 18 Jan. These reviews really work. The situation has now been resolved. Thanks to Maurizio for following up and giving a full and frank explanation, it was really appreciated.

Horrible

Awful experience

Awful experience, I'm still not sure if it's a legit site or a scam. Waiting for them to source the watch they sold to somebody else after I paid for it.

It was a great experience

It was a great experience, we went there to look at two different watches. After a great consultation we actually bought one of the two watches. We would recommend Chronext everytime again.

Great purchasing experience

Great purchasing experience and customer support communication during the procurement and pre-shipping process. The only disappointment was FedEx could not reach Chronext for customs information necessitating them reaching out to me to provide leading to a slight delay arriving.

Professional, secure and impeccable service!

My experience was professional, clean and easy going. From online transaction to final collection of the watch, I was kept informed as / where necessary and experienced no difficulties throughout. The service overall was impeccable. I felt secure at all times and Chronext delivered a sense of trustworthiness, placing their customer (me) at ease. Thank you!

Perfect product and service !

Watch matching 100% the description (I verified it with Breitling in Paris), delivered 40 hours after ordering in a safe (verified ID) and neat way (perfect packaging with full box/papers in perfect condition). Can’t be better : I will use again and again. Bravo to Chronext team, it’s exactly what a watch enthusiast can expect/dream of! And if you re not in Switzerland/Germany there is someone to answer the phone for any question… what else?

A great experience - I shall return

Once again a great experience dealing with Chronext. My Rolex arrived on time after a little delay in customs. Valentino was nice, polite and relaxed in a very pleasant way. A natural born salesman. This is the second watch I buy from Chronext. First time I was a little suspicious about buying on the net. There is no reason to hold back. Chronext is by all means a very serious company where everything is done in the good old German way. I shall return :-)

Be aware of Chronext.

Be aware of Chronext..
Poor communications from Chronext, I constantly have had to prompt them for an update:
-Watch advertised delivery in 5 weeks. Paid in full via Visa on 15 April
-Order Confirmation 16 April
-“I am pleased to let you know that the approximate hand over of your watch will take place in calendar week 21” (around mid May) 23 April
-“How we achieve excellence: Your Nomos Club Sport Neomatik is currently being processed.” 23 April
-“We are currently awaiting your Nomos to arrive in our warehouse next week.” May 23
-“Your Nomos Club Sport Neomatik 782 has arrived at our logistics centre in Cologne.” 1 June
-“Unfortunately it seems as some internal delays have occur.” 9 June
-“As it seems there was a mix up and it might be that the watch hasn't arrived in Cologne yet.” 14 June
-“My supply team now told me that they are expecting the watch to arrive with us until end of next week.” 20 June
-“We are awaiting your watch to arrive with us next week.” 30 June
(I then gave them an alternate watch brand option, no response)
-“I am aware that communication has failed at this point and we where not able to offer you the service we usually strive to provide. As we still not have a new delivery date for you, I would kindly like to ask, if you would rather consider to cancel the order?” 20 July
(Yes cancel, I asked: How long should I expect the refund to take?)
-“Any payments already made will of course be refunded to you as soon as possible. We look forward to welcoming you as our customer again in the near future.” 21 July
Full payment was refunded via Visa.
The watch is still advertised for a 5 weeks delivery period as of 22 July.
