Highly Recommend Excellent Price

I made my booking as I was happy with the quote for the required work (Rear discs & Pads) the way the system works is that the work is available to all local clickmechanic tradesmen.
My mechanic Scott called me before he arrived and carried out the work as required in an efficient and timely manner and was very polite.
From my experience I would recommend clickmechanic as the pricing is very competitive and infact cheaper than all the multinationals (Halfords - Kwikfit) etc.
The added bonus is the mechanic comes to you, whats not to like.

Amazing experience

Amazing experience. My ten year old Mokka was missing and pinking with an orange warning light. Being a pensioner I was anxious about how much this was going to cost. So firstly I gave the information to ChatGPT who advised seeking professional mechanical advice as it could be a catalytic issue.

Origin mechanic arrived same day and using his diagnostic equipment said it was electrical and the battery power voltage was low and recommended to first try changing the battery and then recheck fault codes. These indicated two fault elements spark plugs and coil pack.

The engineer ordered the parts and called next day to fit new plugs and coil pack, all carried out on my drive at home.

All sorted no warning lights or pinking and all for under £250 including call-out!

Brilliant service

Brilliant service! The car was collected on time. They kept me informed about its progress and delivered back later in the day. The car has never driven so well since I used clickMechanic and their local mechanics Rapid Rubber. I have no problem in reccomending them.

Excellent Car mechanic inspection service

I had a Mercedes E Class vehicle inspected by Scott and his colleague prior to purchase and overall I’m satisfied with the thoroughness and professionalism of the inspection.

Scott and his colleague carried out a detailed check of the vehicle and identified several important issues that were not disclosed by the seller including incorrect coolant in the system, welded front alloy wheels, signs of previous body repair, and various cosmetic damages. These findings were clearly explained and documented.

During the test drive, the Scott also noted a slight delay in acceleration response, which may indicate a potential underlying drivetrain or engine management issue.
All major systems such as engine operation, gearbox function, brakes, suspension, and emissions systems were reported as operating within acceptable limits at the time of inspection.

The inspection helped highlight concerns about the vehicle’s maintenance history and overall condition, particularly in relation to previous repairs and the quality of upkeep.

Overall, I found the inspection valuable in providing an honest, independent assessment of the vehicle’s condition and would recommend this service to anyone considering purchasing a used vehicle.

I was hesitant to use this service I…

I was hesitant to use this service I had never heard of them and always tried to get to a physical garage for work. however my car was on its last legs on a Friday and I needed it for a heavy work week on Monday. After reading reviews I decided to give it a go and honestly it was probably the smartest decision I made.

I booked at 4pm on a Friday, mechanic and appointment confirmed by 7pm and the mechanic was with me with all the parts needed by 8:45am on the following morning Saturday.

The mechanic himself was amazing even when faced with a couple of challenges he just got on with it where I feel others would have quit. The work was done and done well. I now have my car back and couldn't be happier. I will gladly recommend using click mechanic and can assure you next time I need work done on my car I will be coming to them.

Exceeded my expectations

I found ClickMechanic via ChatGPT. It exceeded my expectations. The whole process was very smooth, with easy-to-follow steps. A mechanic was assigned within a few hours at the time slots I selected, and within a couple of days, my issue was sorted, I didn't even have to leave my house! The prices were affordable too. Very satisfied!

Hidden charges!!!

Provided everything for a quote which I was happy to proceed then on the day of booking the mechanic called saying ClickMechanic provided wrong quote and I need to add extra money for the right parts.

Based on this interaction I wouldn’t recommend it. The price you saw is never final. Who knows what they will add if they come and do the job.

As you can read from their reply, the system they have is flawed and unable to request or identify the make and model of a car to provide a quote. So their instant quote system is not to be trusted and whatever you’ve been quoted on is subject to change.

Please be advised that your quote was generated by our automated system, which uses data from multiple sources. In cases where vehicles have multiple part specifications, the system can, on occasion, return an incorrect fitment. That’s what unfortunately happened here with the front brake pads, and 
was an unintentional error in the quoting process.

The mechanic identified this before starting the work and confirmed the correct parts and price difference with you first, rather than proceeding with incorrect parts.

We understand this was frustrating and appreciate your decision not to go ahead.
