Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the product's quality, reporting issues such as leaking, splitting, and breaking after minimal use. Customers also found the price to be excessive for what they received, often feeling that the product was not worth the cost. The user experience was frequently criticized, particularly the difficult and time-consuming process of resetting the product by boiling it, with some finding it impractical and unsafe. Some people were dissatisfied with the customer service, mentioning unresponsiveness to warranty claims and issues with replacements. However, some customers also noted positive experiences with customer service, highlighting swift reactions to problems and complimentary gifts. While some found the product to be effective for pain relief and appreciated its reusability, others felt the heat did not last long enough and the product was a waste of money.

AWFUL

AWFUL.
1. Just pulled out the hand warmer for the first time, tried to click the silver “button”, and the pouch busted open. Didn’t last 5 seconds. I’m a petite 31 year old I’m not that strong soo….
2. Both of the larger ones I ordered also busted after one use. Absolute TRASH especially for the price.
3. The pink color got all over my table AFTER it was done being used. Meaning it leaked. Thank God I didn’t leave it on the couch.
Do not waste your money!!!!!!

Total waste of money

The back one was broken in the package, it arrived punctured & activated, then the neck one just leaked everywhere after 2 uses. Just buy a heating pad like a normal person.

Products we ordered all arrived

Products we ordered all arrived. Customer service was extremely helpful to assist on an issue we had with our order. We also received a gift as compensation for the mistake. I would suggest the products 100% they are very good quality and do exactly what they promise.

Waste of money

Too hard to reset. You have to boil water to get the packs back to liquid. Somehow the crystals form after taking it out of the hot water and putting it in a pot causes the plastic to split open and the inner liquid goes everywhere making it completely unusable. Don’t waste your money.

Used once. Followed instructions to reset it and it broke open as I was removing it from hot water with tongs. Little lasted less than 24 hours. Ridiculous.

Purchased with skepticism

I got Clix Therapy at the State Fair with I might get lucky and it works. Well it works great! I suffer from chronic pain throughout my body, every joint -- back, shoulders, neck, hips, ankles, etc. and I have lived with this since I was 13 yrs old. It has gotten worse over the years and no medication, therapy or stretching has helped. I work out at the gym the keep mobility. When I got home from walking at the fair I was very sore and figured I have to skip the gym the next day. I tried the shoulder and neck one and by time it was cooling down I had full range of motion without pain. I was able to do my full workout without pain. This was the first time anything has work!

Just Walk On By...

I got suckered into buying these heat pads at a pre-race convention. While great for 1-time use, they unfortunately DO NOT reset to ready-to-use condition after hardening, despite repeated, frustrated attempts to follow the directions diligently. In addition, your kitchen will become a mess, with a chemical/vinegar odor and possible leaks on some of the pads.

Never received my product. Total scam!

This is a scam! I bought $346.38 worth of product from ClixTherapy at a medical trade show in Orlando on September 30, 2024. It was the last day of the show and I was flying home. I told them I couldn’t pack it in my luggage due to the weight of hot/cold packs. They told me they would ship it to me for free if I bought $300 worth of product. I took a picture of everything I bought to compare with what was shipped to my home. The product was never shipped to me. I contacted the company in December to enquire about when it would arrive, as it was a Christmas present. I was told that the people at the trade shows are independent contractors. They had no way of knowing who was at that particular meeting or how to contact them directly. I disputed my purchase with my credit card company. ClixTherapy, The WonderPax company, sent a letter back saying I lied and that I carried the product out of the trade show in my hands. This was completely untrue. Now I have no product and am out $346.38. Do Not Buy from this company! There is no way to contact them after purchase and they provide terrible customer service.

Disgusted with the customer service

Disgusted with the customer service. I emailed them several weeks ago and have not had a response. We purchased the pack for the back and it is a nightmare to desolve them as the have to be in boiling water
for 20 minutes. When its no longer warm, it forms a substance as hard as stone, thus making the larger pack very awkward to work with. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, unless you have nothing better to do after use. But spend time trying to return them to a liquid state for further use.

Fast shipping.

Got this for my mom who suffers from joint pain and she LOVES it. The ease of use is perfect for her age, and the product holds temperature beautifully. Fast shipping and great customer follow-up too.

Beware! Save your money…

Update 6/19/25: I received a full refund back on my credit card from Clix.

Original review: I purchased a back & knee pack, a neck & shoulder pack, and eight hand warmers from Clix last week at the All Rise Conference in Kissimmee, Orlando.

Before we left the Conference, I had returned the hand warmers because they didn’t go back to liquid as we were told they would. The sales agent said we weren’t boiling them correctly and exchanged them for me. Well, these other hand warmers do not work either, and I’ve heard from friends I know who also bought the larger products like I did, that those are not working, so I sent an email to Clix tonight to inquire on how to return all my products as soon as possible.

Hopefully I will not have any issues returning the products, or I’ll call my credit card company that I used for the purchase to file a dispute.

Hi there! Please note, the items will reharden if they are not boiled long enough! removing the items prematurely from the water kickstarts the reaction and will reactivate the pads. In order to prevent this, make sure all the small pieces of salt have totally dissolved before taking them out the water. We are also happy to assist you with a refund (or exchange) if you prefer! We can be reached at customercare@clixtherapy.com. Thank you!

Do not buy the big packs - totally different from their tester packs! It’s a scam!

Unfortunately, I can not activate both back and leg plus shoulder and neck clix therapy! These damn things are so expensive - bought at the TCS Excel exhibition during the London Marathon on 25th April 2025! I will aim to have these returned either way - even if it means waiting until next year when they return to London! It’s a shame how they corn people in pain!

Absolutely brilliant products

Absolutely brilliant products, stay warm for so long and mold to your body. I honestly cannot do without them! And even though 2 different heat pads have split and leaked, the company have been really good about replacing them, the customer service is fantastic, although a little slow.

Misrepresentation selling on a trade…

Misrepresentation selling on a trade stand at Badminton Horse Trials. Do not buy one of these. Yes they get hot and feel good on your shoulders but being told to recharge it, you simply put it in boiling water is false. You have to boil the damn thing for 15- 20 mins and even then there are still tiny crystals that are hard and if you leave it, the whole thing goes solid again
