Most terrible equipment ever
Most terrible equipment ever. Bought brand new equipment on May 1, 2023, provisioned on May 15, 2023, warranty one (1) year, on June 1, 2024 equipment started to fail and clover support had *** NO *** idea how to fix and recommend to buy new equipment.!

Absolutely the worst customer service on the planet. By the way, I'm writing this during my second hour on hold / being transferred to different departments.
Do not use clover
Do not use clover. They will charge a lot of fees and expensive plus if you have to cancel your service either temporarily. They will charge you a big fee amount. Please do your research and find others better services.

When I setting up a business account for my small non-profit, I was encouraged by my bank to set up a Clover account to make collecting donations easier. I'm in my 3rd year of having Clover and never using it. In recently reviewing my monthly bank statement I realized I was being charged an annual fee ($80) by Clover even though I had literally never used the service. I called them to cancel the service and asked to have the $80 they had just charged me refunded since I've never used the service. After much go-around, being on hold, etc. I was told 'no', and that it was my 'fault I didn't use their services or cancel it earlier'. While this is true, it speaks volumes on how they view customers, and their corporate mindset. I will not only never consider using Clover if I do need merchant services in the future, but I will also never recommend them to any of the small business owners in my network. Filing a complaint with BBB and the FTC after this.
For anyone interested, the actual company name is First Data Merchant Services/Solutions (Clover is their DBA), and they are an ISO of Wells Fargo Bank.

Absolutely the worst processor I've ever used in the last 10 years. I think what was most concerning is the unprofessionalism of never responding back to their emails. Our account came under review and all documents were provided. Days past without a response and then an account closure on our gateway; zero explanation or additional requested information. Judging by their current rating it appears whoever runs Clover enjoys watching it crash to the ground.

Do not buy this stupid ass equipment. My mom is making $120+ payments for a stupid machine that isn’t even working. My mother doesn’t speak English so I don’t even know how that predator of a salesman sold her on this scam and now she’s stuck on a lease that we can’t get out of until October 2028.

Absolutely terrible, run the opposite direction. I attempted to sign up and use Clover for my business. After being told multiple times that I would be approved, we were denied. Not only that, but it took weeks of me calling, leaving voicemails, and reaching out to other representatives because I did not get notification of a declined application whatsoever. What a waste a time and a headache.

I’ve been a Clover customer for over 9 years, like 3 years ago we had to change our terminal because it went bad and it was out of the warranty period, Clover sent us a terminal that was built in 2018 and is now charging $100 every month because the machine that they sent us is no longer being regularly updated and wants us to buy a new. Will be going to square, shame on you Clover.

The platform is easy to use, the reports are shown immediately, and there are no miscellaneous charges, such as monthly fee, annual fee, login fee, ACQR fee, Fixed Network fee, CPU GTWY fee, and bunch of others that MerchantOne and others have.
Charged me a Service Fee but didn't provide a service
I use Clover to receive a client payments via credit card. When my client sent me the payment which was a total of 71,346.69 the invoice was sent on August 7 and Clover's Risk Department denied the payment to be processed into my account and returned the funds to the client on August 19. No funds were processed into my account via clover and in fact, I closed my account because I need a service for my business that is able to receive client payments without disruption. They are charging me a 3% service fee but there was no service and the service was denied because of Clover. They are refusing to refund me the service fee of 2,400+. This is theft. I need a full refund immediately since I was not able to use clover's services.
Excellent Point of Sale
Clover is great to work with. The level of personal attention that we received from setup, to training, to ongoing operation is second to none. We have used other POS systems in the past and were severely disappointed.
We are very pleased with Clover.

Hands down the worst processing company I have ever dealt with. If I could give them no stars I would. I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to get an issue that I had resolved, by speaking with well over a dozen of their customer service reps, getting a different answer with each rep. I just cancelled my account with them.

Worst customer service ever, I have tried to get a new machine for 3 days, my rep doesn't call me back, I cant get a live person to answer me, my chat person gives me, a 800 number gives me nothing
