These guys are scumbags

These guys are scumbags. Lie endlessly to try to get through to the "owner" without them realising they're already talking to them. Terrible business practices from offshore call centres just money hungry dirtbags. They call 3 times a day one of our locations and despite hundreds of requests for them to stop calling, they continue to call.

What a terrible business, and harassment to say the least. I wouldn't do business with them if I was paid to. We use Square at all our locations and are so much happier. Stay away from Clover.

Very disappointed

I've been using Clover tills for around 8 years now. First 2 years were SHOCKING, their own network would just not often work and tills were 100% wi fi dependant (basically no WiFi no till)

Nowadays it got slightly better but it's slow and there is a glitch on it which hasn't sorted for over a year now. No to mention they are very quick to take money but if you need any support FORGET IT.

Clover is anti- small business

As I have written in other reviews, this company continues to pray on small businesses.charging higher and higher rates especially to the smaller businesses that can’t negotiate like the bigger companies. I am happy to report that I continue to encourage the other local small businesses in my town to check again that clover is not ripping them off. My local Indian restaurant and pizza joint are dumping clover. My work is not done with two more businesses dropping clover, its only just starting.

Do NOT use Clover!

Do NOT use Clover!! They employ fraudulent billing practices. I cancelled my service a year ago and they are Still Billing Me. Also,DISREGARD the Forbes recommendation of their 'great service' as it is completely unfounded.

After eight weeks with Clover I’ve had…

After eight weeks with Clover I’ve had nothing but problems. The system wasn’t set up properly, it crashes during peak hours, and support has been unreliable. On a busy Friday night it went down nationwide and left us unable to take payments. I had to use a phone-based Square backup. Repeated outages like this have cost us business — I can’t recommend Clover.Stay away from clover . They will put you out of business.

This company has no ethics or mural values. After verifying my account via email, text and years of personal information I was transferred to "Lawrence Sir" (guessing that is not his name) who asked me to verify everything again. I explained to him that we just did all this and I am just trying to complete the documents Clover had sent me. After a back and forth I asked to speak with a manger and was put on hold. Mr. Sir, came back on the line to inform me that a manager would only talk with me if I verified and answer all his questions first.

Looking to be contacted by a manager to resolve this problem.

Thinking of using Clover? Overall I would recommend. Rather high cost, but the equipment and software run as promised keeping orders and payments even off line.

Unexpected fees

First off, I was misinformed that the system was free, it was not. To add insult to injury the system is just about useless without paying an additional $29.00 per month service fee for the software. Without the software you can not ring up multiple items and it wont even add the sales tax. This slows down check out, creates more opportunity for error and makes extra work in book keeping. So in addition to paying 10X what the equipment is worth, they also want more money to make it work.

We got ripped off for several months...

We requested that our Clover website account be cancelled and closed on June 16 of this year. We no longer needed it for our non-profit as we switched to a different CMS. That same day I received an email from their team confirming that we wanted to cancel and she included a form link for us to fill out to complete the process. I did so immediately. But for the last 5 months they continued to bill us. I sent 2 follow up emails and left 2 voicemails with no response. In each email and voicemail I requested a full refund for each month and a full cancellation. We had to request a stop payment from our bank. This company stole $156 from our non-profit. This is the worst example of customer service, especially for a Christian ministry company. Before Ministry Brands bought up Clover, it was a great company with great customer service. Now, it's part of a large, disorganized, impersonal, unprofessional group.

MERC ONE SCAM

Invoices can not list items for service.
No help with tech support.
After canceling my account Merchant One is a scam
Merc One still trying to bill me, they also have ID numbers wrong so the account doesnt show but email records do.
DONT USE THIS SERVICE & MERC ONE!

bad experience

IT'S THE WORST COMAPANY

It's the worst company. They don't answer your calls, they lie to you saying it'll be easy to close the account if you have to close your business, but it's not true. You end up paying a fortune, and they don't tell you that it's not just one company you signed a contract with, so they keep charging you for card transactions even though you've already closed your business. And because I didn't realize it and close the bank account, they sent me to collections for $65 USD, even though I'm so careful with my credit. It's robbery, and it's infuriating that you spend all day trying to sort it out and nobody helps you. THE WORST COMPANY!!!!
