Couldn't have got back on the market without co ownership. At 49 and renting after a separation, then when the landlord came calling for 30% increase in rent, time came to get back on the market. It's tough on your own to afford anything nowadays without a large deposit and a large wage packet, but when someone recommended look into co ownership I thought it was worth a shot. While not perfect it's a 100 times better than paying a private landlords mortgage, and you can have a place you can make a home. The co ownership rent and my mortgage both come to less a month than the current going rate for a similar house privately rented. This gives you security, and with a 5 year or longer fixed rate on your mortgage you know what your monthly outgoings are going to be. No shock 30% increase every 12 months. Highly recommend and as your circumstances change in the future you can buy co ownership out to own the home outright. Security is the key for me, and I'm absolutely over the moon with my new home.

Going through Co-Ownership to purchase our first home was a great experience. Out landlord decided to sell up to us and we were unable to get a decent deposit together in a short space of time with having a young family. Highly recommend to anyone.

I cannot commend Co-Ownership enough!
My experience has been nothing but great. I was able to get the keys to my new home this week and the advisors had been friendly, helpful and gave me the best advise from the first interaction. There has been some push backs in the whole process with other aspects of the purchase and when I was ready to give up last month, a word of encouragement and a "try again" received from them made the whole difference and I am delighted to say we are new homeowners in Belfast. Thanks to Jason and all the team. I would definitely give them 10 stars if I could!
