WARNING TO CONSUMERS: MY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH COMBINED INSURANCE COMPANY

I am absolutely disgusted with my experience with Combined Insurance Company.

For years, I paid my insurance premiums, believing that when life took an unexpected turn and I needed help, this company would stand behind the coverage I had been paying for. Unfortunately, after undergoing hernia surgery and spending a week in the hospital, I discovered just how disappointing this experience could be.

I submitted my claims for hospital room expenses, benefits for the days I was unable to work, and several other benefits I understood my policy to cover. What happened? Combined Insurance denied my claims.

After years of taking my money, when it was finally time for me to seek help following surgery, I was left frustrated, disappointed, and questioning what I had been paying premiums for all those years.

It is incredibly upsetting to pay for insurance with the expectation of having financial protection when you need it, only to face denied claims when you are recovering from surgery and unable to work.

Collecting premiums is one thing. Standing behind your customers when they need you is another.

My experience has seriously damaged my trust in Combined Insurance Company. I believe customers deserve transparency, honest explanations, and fair treatment—not the frustration of discovering that benefits they expected may not be paid.

I am sharing my experience publicly so other people can do their homework before purchasing a policy. Read the fine print, ask questions, and get written confirmation of exactly what is covered and what is excluded. Do not make assumptions about your benefits without checking the policy carefully.

I purchased insurance through Combined Insurance specifically to protect myself financially in the event of a serious injury. Unfortunately, after suffering a traumatic brain injury, I have now had my claim denied twice, despite my position that I have a legitimate injury and supporting medical documentation.

It is extremely upsetting to pay for insurance for the peace of mind of knowing you will have protection when something unexpected happens, only to find yourself fighting to have your injury recognized when you need that coverage.

I purchased this policy for a reason: to protect myself during a difficult time. Instead, I have been left frustrated, disappointed, and questioning the value of the coverage I paid for.

Based on my personal experience, I strongly encourage anyone considering Combined Insurance to carefully review the policy, understand the exclusions, and ask detailed questions about how claims are assessed before purchasing coverage.

Insurance is supposed to provide protection when life takes an unexpected turn. Consumers deserve transparency, fairness, I do not recommend this company.
