Awful airline
Awful airline. Awful costumer service. Avoid at all costs. We purchased a flight from Hurghada to Stuttgart which was denied to us ONLY at the check-in gate because of a regulation that we weren’t warned about at ANY time. Neither at the online booking or at the online check-in. We called the costumer service and they told us that it was our responsibility and then ended the call abruptly. They didn’t try to help us at all to find another flight or to give us a refund. It was our first time in Egypt.

We flew with Corendon on 25th October 2025 to Greece as a family of 5, one of which has serious SEN issues. Our adult daughter and mother flew with us but not on the same reservation.
After changing both inbound and outbound flight times, causing us to change our parking & lounge access reservation. Our flight was due to take off at 9:30am but the flight was delayed more than 10 hours. Not only did this have serious consequences for our SEN child as his medication was in the hold, we arrived in Greece in the middle of the night so effectively we lost a substantial amount of the first day of our holiday and a considerable amount of the second day as the children were so exhausted they couldn’t get out of bed before lunchtime. I put in a complaint in November when we returned to the UK and in December, Corendon accepted liability and offered compensation in either Corendon flight vouchers or GBP. We opted for the £1750 for the 5 passengers as we never wanted to fly with Corendon again after our experience and reading other passenger complaints regarding the same issues we had experienced. It is now 26th August 2026 and no a single payment has been made. My adult daughter and mother also put in a complaint at the same time, the same liability was accepted, the same offer of £350 per passenger was accepted and neither of them have received a payment either. My mother has since contacted Corendon to ask when the compensation would be coming and they have responded that they don’t have a timeframe for the payment. It has been 8 months since liability was accepted still with no timeframe on receiving the compensation. This is completely unacceptable.

For the first time in my life I forgot my passport in my friends bag and it took them quite long to reach Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to bring it to me.
