Cosmo Bristol - Unsatisfactory, would not recommend it as a worthwhile use of time or money.
Cosmo Bristol
We were deeply disappointed with our visit on Monday, which was intended to be a celebratory birthday meal. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The food appeared to lack freshness and gave the impression of being reheated remnants from the previous evening. The prawns, in particular, were not fresh; they were unusually tough and difficult to peel.
Several serving trays were empty, requiring us to approach staff multiple times to request refills. Additionally, the chocolate fountain was out of service, and the dessert selection was notably limited. Given these shortcomings, we found the visit to be unsatisfactory and would not recommend it as a worthwhile use of time or money.
Possibly the worst dining out…
Possibly the worst dining out experience we could possibly have had. We went here (Cosmo Wolverhampton) as a treat for my daughter's birthday as we had previously had a good time at Cosmo in Derby. However, the labelling for all of the food at Wolverhampton is completely inaccurate. It's as though they had just randomly ticked loads of allergen boxes on all of the dishes. This meant that things that you would expect to have no allergens present (such as chips) supposedly had milk, eggs and shellfish in them, whereas a cake which had nuts sprinkled on top was not labelled as containing nuts! As two of our party were vegan and another has a nut allergy this made selecting anything to eat almost impossible. We could only find two dishes that appeared to be suitable for vegans and when we spoke to the manager for clarification we ended up with a very confusing story about them just ticking most of the things in case there is any cross contamination from the cooking area they are prepared in or by customers cross-contaminating dishes themselves when self-serving. It made absolutely no sense at all. He did, though, seem to confirm that the chips did actually have egg in them, which seemed very strange and then offered to get the chef to cook us some plain rice (the other rice apparently has ghee (butter) added to it). As there would have been nothing to eat with the rice we politely declined and got a refund for our meals. To top it all off, we had also paid for limitless soft drinks and when trying to get a lemonade from the machine we found that it was dispensing just fizzy water instead. Really, really poor all round and for anyone who actually is concerned with what is in their food (either has an allergy, specific dietary requirement or just wants to be informed about what they're being served) I would recommend giving this place a very wide berth. Don't be fooled by their website saying that there are options available for you, because at the Wolverhampton branch there aren't. I'd also suggest that Wolverhampton council's food safety team and the Food Standards Agency (FSA) should take a look at the labelling in place at the Wolverhampton Cosmo and advise them on labelling it in way that accurately reflects what is in the dishes rather than the seemingly very random labelling that is in place currently. As it is, it could be quite dangerous, particularly with products that contain nuts not being labelled as such, whilst nearly every other dish that doesn't contain certain ingredients is labelled as if they do.
We attended Cosmo for a 21st birthday…
We attended Cosmo for a 21st birthday celebration. We were a party of 10, 4 of whom were coming from abroad. As usual the party of 4 were very late, but the staff made sure there was food for them when they arrived at 9.30pm. The staff were absolutely great about them being late. We couldn't fault the staff or the service we received. When they brought the birthday cake out, they even sang happy birthday to our daughter. Many, many thanks to the staff

Cosmo Liverpool 5 Stars!!!
Cosmo Liverpool has now become my go to place when I’m in town. The manager is an absolute sweetheart of a man and their staff are really pleasant and welcoming.
The food hasn’t disappointed me once either. The place is well maintained and clean.
No complaints from me at all.
Awful
When we arrived, there was a wait time of around 15 minutes, we sat in the waiting area and all of the tables were sticky. We were then seated at a table in the middle of the walk way, it was an unpleasant place to sit and not ideal due to the volume of people constantly walking right next to you. We went and got our meals, there was not much variety. As we were eating we where asked to pay for the meal, this should have been asked before or after the meal not during, we where very dissatisfied by this and this has never been the case in any other restaurant. Staff were rude and too busy talking between eachother instead of serving us . They only had diet pepsi and the ice machine wasn’t working. We paid £47 for the meal in total, not even including the drinks. The food was tasteless, stale and simply horrible. We both ate a small plate of food, it was so disgusting, we didn’t even finish it, a huge scam not worth the money.

Staff were accommodating as it was a very busy evening. Drinks were served relatively quickly. Food options seemed good for meat eaters, but very few choices for non meat-eaters. Tried the fish in lemon but texture and flavour was poor. The food wasn't very warm at times unless a fresh batch had been served. I'd like to suggest that the tongs used to pick up desserts should be cleaned regularly - they were caked in cream/sponge etc and were not used for their purpose (i.e. used to pick up any dessert) so may not be helpful for people with allergies. Finally, paying - the cashier promptly served the gentleman before me, however it felt like she saw me, then decided to have a conversation with her colleague for a good 10 minutes whilst I stood waiting to pay with payment card in my hand. The conversation, from what I could gather wasn't necessarily about work. I left and went to another cashier who directed me to where I had left. It wasn't until I had to ask them - loudly, if I could pay, before they finally switched into action. I felt like I had been ignored on purpose. RUDE.

First time visiting cosmo's absolutely amazing food plenty to choose from all fresh and hot full of flavour the deserts were amazing also only gripe was they run out of creme brulee really early on in the evening bit disappointing the staff were amazing smiling and very friendly couldn't do enough for you definitely recommend eating here fantastic
Belfast: Friendly service, great range of food.
We have visited Cosmo in Belfast, Victoria Square, twice now, 3pm and 7pm, weekend and midweek.
The service was excellent, we were told we had to wait ten minutes, but barely waited 2 to 5 minutes. I was struck by how busy the staff were but when you asked them a question they were very friendly and professional.
The range of food is considerable and would cater to most tastes, go on a very empty stomach, you will want to try many different dishes, the food, overall was as good, maybe a bit better than many more expensive restaurant; although the drinks are expensive, and many of the desserts are less than flavoursome, avoid anything in a pot.
Don't forget to try the sauces, and anything you don't know what it is! if you don't like it, you don't have to finish it!!
Our plates were cleared away promptly, and although there were a lot of people, it was never overly packed.
Will be going back again and again.

Excellent selection of buffet
The staff are so accommodating and helpful
My only gripe about the restaurant are the disabled toilet no toilet rolls and could do with a clean.
Booked for 6pm Cosmo Norwich noise levels unbelievable
Booked for 6pm Cosmo Norwich. We had to complain we had waited 20mins to be allowed upstairs to the restaurant, when other people after us were allowed upstairs. The restaurant has had a makeover, and the food was really nice, better than we have had in the past. We were seated next to the door to the kitchen and the noise from the servers throwing dishes around the kitchen was unbelievably noisy. You literally could not hear your partner speaking through the noise. Staff would stand with the only day open and chat to staff making the noise levels worse. The table next to us joined in the conversation with a manager we found, as they were angry at the level of noise also. The manager only made excuses about the noise and suggested we moved. She did not grasp how loud the noise from the kitchen was. We left as soon as we could after eating.

Both myself and my Wife visited Cosmo…
Both myself and my Wife visited Cosmo World Buffet in Liverpool yesterday evening , we weren't impressed at all , an awful lot of the dishes were empty and were not being topped up and this was at 7pm - only halfway through the evening service., we stopped an hour and most of these dishes were still empty an hour later. Also we sat there for the full hour and wasn't offered one drink by the waiters/waitresses, even though they were freely stood around talking to each other. Our first and last visit to Cosmo unfortunately.
