I was charged multiple times for one…

I was charged multiple times for one prescription and there is absolutely no way, other than email, to contact anyone. You send the email and then they don't respond. It's been two weeks. I guess Cuban is paying for his donations for president this way.

So far

So far, it's been a terrible experience. No customer service because they say they want to keep the drugs cheap. That would fine if the website was no horrible. I tried to get my doctor to send a prescription for cyclosporine (generic Restasis) which they do carry according to their website. I got an automatic e-mail from them saying they did not carry it. I contacted my doctor and they said that the website force them to send the prescription over as Restasis rather than the generic version because when they entered in the generic version of the medication, it automatically changed it to the brand name version Restasis. There is nobody that you can talk to. Just horrible...I thought Mark Cuban would be able to create a good website. Was very wrong.

This isn't your average pharmacy

This isn't your average pharmacy. They are very slow, impossible to talk to, have limited access to drugs, and work with limited numbers of insurance companies. For the drugs they do carry, they are cheaper than my local pharmacy and Amazon on my generic BP, cholesterol and ED meds. Despite their claims on speed, plan on 2-3 weeks from order to receipt. Be aware that using 2 pharmacies also adds another layer of confusion for your Dr's office. UPDATE 2 weeks after trying to place my first order, and 9 days after actually paying and placing it, I received an email saying they were out of one drug and the rest of the order was filled, but awaiting packaging and mailing. The website says another 2-3 business days for the packaging and 7 days for shipping time. I can't believe Mr. Cuban lends his name to this nightmare. I'm going back to Amazon.

slow order processing leaves me without medication

My medication is 50% less than the local drug store. However, the order processing is 3+ days and they use the USPS which can take anywhere from 3 days to 10+ days to deliver to me.

Paying for expedited shipping negates the cost savings.

Seemingly no ability to order in advance of my prescription re-fill date (determined by CostPlus Drugs)

Horrible Company

Horrible customer service! Very limited selection of medication and the last time I got my order the one of the bottles was cracked and customer service said it was damaged in shipping not on their end.its such a hassle to contact your doctor and have them cancel the prescription to cost plus and then call it in to Rite Aid... You know Mark Cuban wants to put his name on this but I see him all the time arguing with Republicans on twitter because he thinks those people are toxic or something but why isn't he worried about this company and all the things that are going wrong because I see a lot of complaints here in the comment section and he needs to step up

Charged me twice fand then didnt proceaa order

The savings are unbelievable. But upon trying to complete my first purchase I already have a big problem, and there is evidently no way to achieve any help from customer service.
I went through checkout process. The site stated there was an error processing my credit card payment. I tried again, assuming I might have mistyped a number or something. Same message. Then I get 2 notifications from my credit card company that both times my payments to Cost Plus were processed.
I tried to find customer service. There isnt any! You can report a problem through the site. That gets you an automated email saying that they cannot respond to every inquiry, and if I still have a problem, I can reply to the automated email in 24 hours.
This is bad. I have now paid them twice, but my order has not been placed.

CostPlus gave wrong tracking number, meds were damaged as a result

CostPlus attached the wrong tracking information to my medication, which resulted in the medication being left out in the 90+ degree heat for more than 6 hours. I paid $15 for expedited shipping with tracking because I was relying on this medication to prevent life-threatening anaphylaxis. Not only was it delivered on a completely different day than was estimated and that showed in the tracking information, but it wasn't even delivered by the same shipping service that shows up with the tracking information. The medication has been ineffective, and my doctor and I have no idea if that's because it's not a good medication for me or if that's because it was left sitting out in the heat since CostPlus didn't think it was worth their time to provide the correct tracking number for my medication order. And "customer service" is a joke - there is no help to be had for these issues, just canned email responses that aren't even relevant to this issue.

Incomplete Order

My husband's prescription was for three pills that need to be taken together. They accepted our order even though they only had two of the mgs, not the 3rd. I emailed to see when the 3rd prescription would be in stock. The person replying got the dosages completely wrong which triggered calls from the dr office and a huge hassle. I emailed again and got no response. Next we received the shipment of two prescriptions but when we checked the bottles only 4 out of 5 pills were there. We called and were told they would escalate but couldn't guarantee the pill would arrive on time. No, customer service, no quality control and don't give a darn about their customers.

Doctor sent prescription to Cost Plus

Doctor sent prescription to Cost Plus. Cost Plus sent email to me to order. Can't get into my account. Have had trouble with Cost Plus online orders before. Savings are great, but order frustrations and delays and wondering whether I shall even get the pills are not
acceptable.

Their system has become a joke

Their system has become a joke. It routinely does not receive the prescriptions for my cancer drugs. My doctor sent this multiple times over the last month and no response. Can’t order the drugs. This happened before as well. You can’t speak with a person. The ChatBot is useless, and emails go to a black hole. This greatly increases my stress which is very bad for my cancer. And now I am out of the drug I need with no help from the Mark Cuban drug show. I used to like it and recommended to everyone. But it’s broken now and my advice is the opposite

Used my card at Ralph’s Pharmacy-saved 65% off insurance co-pay orice

I just used my TeamCuban card at a local pharmacy for the first time and it saved me 65% off my insurance co-pay rate!

Now that CostPlus offers access at local pharmacies vs only mail-order count me in as a loyal user!

Thank you Mark Cuban for busting up big pharma and pharmacy benefit managers who only serve their own best interests, not their patients.

Prices Not Worth It

The prices are enticing but the lack of customer service is not worth it. I had two daily, important medications delayed significantly which caused me to feel very ill until my local pharmacy was able to dispense it emergently.

Caution! You'll become upset!

I came away from my first experience terribly angry. I realized how much we Americans are being screwed by the prescription-drug cartel. I paid $12.40 (including a modest $5 shipping fee) to fill a scrip that previously cost me $300+. Insofar as others' low ratings of Cost-Plus Drugs are concerned, I have to attribute their dislike a response to company start-up woes or to bias in favor of the aforementioned cabal. My experience was absolutely seamless (and, from a $ point of view, totally delightful). I have also learned over the years that, when an uninterrupted supply of a drug is necessary, don't wait until the last minute to order it. Any number of problems can arise to slow delivery no matter what pharmacy you deal with.

Great savings, but slow order to delivery

Costplus has been a huge savings for us as my medication is 170$ a month, and I only pay 1/3 of that from cost plus. I am so grateful for the service. The biggest weakness I have found so far is that the medication tends to take about a week and a half to arrive. Keep in mind if you order on a Friday, the order does not typically ship the next week either, but the following monday or tuesday as they do not ship or fill over weekends.
My last order arrived damaged on a Friday and they cannot replace until Monday with about a 3 biz day ship time on top of that. gratefully no charge for that problem.
I am hopeful that their logistics improves to at least similar to CVS order by mail level which is slightly better.
My overall experience:
1. Orders are very simple to place.
2. Pricing is better than even my provider will cover elsewhere.
3. If you need your medication within a certain amount of days, make sure you have enough to get you covered for about 2 weeks before ordering (everything is handled in business days only, so when it says 5 days, that means 5 biz days).
4. Expedited shipping was slower for me than standard. Average date of order to arrive on standard was 6 business days. Average date of order to arrival on Expedited was 8 business days. Not sure if it is just me, but i am not far from the depot and I am in a large city.
