Our natural, skincare, beauty, homecare and wellness products are all developed by our founder, a qualified chemist, and have been made in Malton, North Yorkshire, since we started our family company, eight years ago.
We are proud to employ over twenty local people in our growing team. Every product we make is from 100% natural ingredients, free from palm oil, artificial surfactants, sulphates, artificial fragrances and preservatives. We have long term wholesale and trade partnerships with many independent shops, visitor attractions, accommodation providers and events companies across the UK. We also create and make products for a growing number of white label clients, looking for a trusted product development and manufacturing partner offering manageable minimum order quantities.Our packaging is all recyclable, compostable or reuseable and free from single use plastics. We are committed to being cruelty free, do not test on animals and we never commission other organisations to do so on our behalf. Everything is suitable for vegetarians and we have a wide range of vegan products.

Excellent customer service.
I had ordered a facial soap and a fragrance free shea soap, unfortunately I was sent two facial soaps. I contacted the company and immediately had a reply and they sent out the fragrance free soap that day. Really good customer service and I do like the soaps, very moisturising. Other products I've tried are very good too, I especially liked the surface cleaners.

The 2 items I ordered were the makeup remover balm and the facial moisturiser .. oh wow I am so impressed with these products .. really luxurious on my skin and both products work beautifully removing every trace of grime and makeup and moisturising with such luxury on my skin .. I think the picture showing 2 jars is misleading (1 item could mean 1 set of 2)when you only actually get 1 jar also I know you can’t control the heat but my product was so runny when it arrived that it nearly all poured out of jar when I opened it!

Cosy Cottage workshops & wellness days
Cosy Cottage workshops & wellness days. I have attended several workshops (soap making with and without goats) and candle making, and 3 of their wellness days. All days have been absolutely fantastic. From arrival to the finish all the staff make me feel so welcome and nothing is any trouble. Clara's teaching is delivered in a kind and relaxed manner with an emphasis on safety and makes sure that all participants feel supported. The wellness days are always amazing hence repeating the experience. Highly recommended.

Solid shampoo did not clean my hair
Their fragrance free solid shampoo did not work well. Left my hair heavy and greasy.
I have been using solid shampoos for over a decade, and sulphate free ones for the last 7 to preserve my hair dye. I have used most brands on the market and when my regular brand ran out I decided to try another one.
I have found it doesn't actually clean my hair, it just leaves it heavy and sticky. I emailed them and their reply was condescending and assumed I had never used sulphate free solid shampoos before. First rule of support is to ask questions and not make assumptions.
28th update.
It's the immediate refusal and the tone of the reply which prompted me to post this review.
