Nature of the product/service delivery I can't comment on. However marketing and pricing is beyond mis-leading and borderline fraudulent.
My experience starts from online social media videos of a female vegetarian talking about the risks and waste of time with chip tagging dogs and how lost pets are found much easier with their product. She also mentions that its free. You then sign up but it asks for £3 (UK) postage for something that does not cost £3 to post (first profit point).
When it arrives you scan the qr code and get all the setup instructions asking lots of information about your pet which seems promising. Then after 10 mins it asked for a £9 p/m subscription. Sorry but I get far more for my money from a £4.99 monthly subscription to Netflix than this offers and their back office costs for services minimal. So then ignoring this and not proceeding, I checked my paypal and see that the £3 postage I paid through paypal (for postage) wasn't a one of payment and they actually setup as a monthly subscription. Rewinding back to the original advert on how this is free, this makes a potential positive product into something very scammy. Very disappointing.

This is a scam company advertise a free tag $6.00 delivery did not mind that then $12 registration did not mind that BUT CRUMB TAKE MONTHLY $12 OUT OF YOUR BANK ACCOUNT

Unauthorized credit card charges, $7 a month per pet. In the app when they tell you about upgrading from the free version to the paid version, there is only one clickable button and that is the continue button, leading consumers to believe they will have the option to choose after being provided with the information however it’s an immediate charge to your card using the card you paid for the shipping with. It’s set up in such a way as to scam consumers and it’s highly unprofessional, poor business practice and a dishonest CEO who should be ashamed of what he has built. You have to go through hoops to go find out how to cancel said subscription in a desktop only browser setting. Then when you reach out to support explaining how you feel, they give you a generic response back with no refund. This company doesn’t deserve anyone’s business.

Merlin Simba lost his collar with crumb tag attached. I notified Crumb and they immediately replaced it so he didn't need to loose going out for more then 1 day. Thank you I didn't expect it to happen that quick. I would recommend Crumb to all pet owners I feel more confident him going out and knowing where he is.

This seems a wonderful idea. I haven't lost a pet yet but I am reassured that everything will be done to find her if I did,

ABSOLUTE SCAM! Once you sign up they make it almost impossible to cancel and will continue to take money from your bank account. I have been requesting that they cancel my account for over a month now with no luck. I Google searched CRUMB.PET and found that they are well known for this practice with numerous dissatisfied customers complaining about not being able to cancel their accounts. DONT FALL FOR THE SCAM!!
