Scam
I wouldn't give Crumb one them one star but it wasn't an option.
They advertise that it's free but as soon as you register the tag, they automatically enroll you in their Premium plan and start charging you a monthly premium that I did not authorize. They use yourccredit card information that you used to pay postage on the free tag.
Good luck cancelling the plan through their so called Dashboard that they reference in their automatic email responces they just keep giving you the run around with automatic email responses everytime you reply to their emails
You follow their instructions to cancel and it says that you have no active subscriptions. So there is no option to cancel the account.
I contacted RBC VISA and they are investigating this company as they have received numerous complaints. RBC VISA was able to get all my payments back except for the initial payment for the tag. I have also notified Canadas RCMP Online Fraud Investigation Unit about these scammers. They have also received numerous complaints and are initiating an investigation into this companies practices.
Avoid this company at all costs.
we received the crumb tag fast and it was really easy to set up. And I love the pic of Bohdi, I'm going to paint that pic!
Thank you
Laurie

UPDATE:
Crumb have agreed to refund the £8 taken from my account, so this is very much appreciated. Thank you.
Like so many others, I had £8 taken from my account after being assured that I HADN'T subscribed to anything! They have refused to refund me!
Also, these tags aren't actually legal in the UK - the law states - Dogs in the UK must wear a collar with the owner’s name and address inscribed on the tag or collar itself. A QR-only tag is not legally compliant because the required information cannot be read without a smartphone and an internet connection.
All in all, pretty useless unless you want your dog to wear two tags???

You guys suck! I do not recommend this service to anyone. Yall are crooks. My tag was invalid for God knows how long. Its just a sticker easy to rub off. I disconnected my service why am I still receiving emails. I dont want your tag i want you guys off of my bank account. Beat it .
After buying a tag they automatically set me up for monthly subscription without me approving and used same card i used to buy the tag, not a ddbt one.
I never signed up for these monthly payments and feel conned by this company.
It is easy to setup but then the app took over and entered my address incorrectly

Nice little tag. But I wasnt aware I had paid for a subscription even though I didn't sign up for one. Was a bit surprised that 7 quid had been taken out of my account without my knowledge. You need to be a bit more organised about that part. I would like a refund especially as I didn't sign up for the premium subscription. I have cancelled the subscription as of today.

Wow....every bad review is because the company added the subscription. They all say, "It wasn't advertised."
How about you didn't read?
There is a whole section at the top of the page that shows and explains.
Maybe slow down instead of just clicking away.

No mention about the subscription charges until I got charged! what a scam!
I sent for the crumb tag and paid postage but whilst setting up realised I was already being charged £9 for a service I hadn’t asked for or agreed to. It was charged to my credit card as that’s how I’d paid for the tag - but I did not give permission for my card to be used again for anything else.

Wouldn’t be without Phil’s tag, it’s come in handy already! Great company to deal with too. Highly recommend

Like others that I have read about here, I too received a ton of emails harassing me to activate my tag. I finally did it and I received a charge on my card. Nowhere did I read I was going to be charged. When I signed up, it said free tag and that’s it. So now I’m stuck in a monthly cycle that I can’t get out of because every time I log into the website, it immediately brings me over to the app. It’s been a few months for me, and I’m hoping I don’t get charged the premium that comes with a veterinarian. Now my second issue, not enough people in America have this or even are aware of it. When I look on to see members close to me, there’s absolutely none. Also the snout ID is fantastic if you have a pet you can get to sit still long enough. When my cat finally did sit still long enough, it doesn’t work on cats. They seem to be a little bit different than a dog. I will continue my venture trying to cancel this stupid subscription. At this point, I don’t even know where the tag is because my cat doesn’t wear the collar with a tag. The minute I put it on her, she put her paws under her collar and pulls it off.
It’s a con and you’re forced into a subscription service for what is advertised as free.
I ordered 2 crumb tags for my 2 dogs, it was very simple & straightforward to set them up.

I paid for my pet tag and never received it email number of time and was always told that my orders was on backorder 6 months and still no tags but charge $4.00 Please why your business took my money and no product Is this A SCAM
Seems very well done but I didn't know I was being charged $9 until I answered all your questions. Is this a 1x charge or yearly? Don't understand.
