Sent the wrong item, then want you to pay postage to return the wrongly sent item or even pay £20 for a courier to pick it up and return the item. What a joke

Simon at Cycle King Cambridge sorted me out for a good second-hand bike that met all my requirements. Have had it for a few weeks and it has held up to a long commute and looks good (but not so good that I'm overly worried about it being stolen - ideal). Overall very happy.

I recommend this workshop :) I got a high-quality product for a reasonable and fair price.

From placing the order, to delivery to the store and finally collecting the bike, the whole experience was excellent. The staff at the Yardley Cycle Kings store were brilliant, friendly, helpful and explained everything clearly. We walked away very happy, and most importantly, our 9-year-old is an extremely happy bunny with his new Selcano mountain bike! 🚲😁

Just one tiny hiccup: when we placed the order, the website stated that the bike came with hydraulic brakes, but we were later contacted and advised that they were actually mechanical brakes. The website has since been updated, so hopefully that avoids any confusion for future customers.

Other than that, we honestly couldn't fault the service.

Thank you to the team at Cycle Kings, and we'll see you in 8 weeks for the free service, which is also included with the bike. 👍

Great experience, I had a bit of difficulty in putting my bike together one of the pedals was faulty - quick email sorted it, Richard was very helpful and I received a new pedal the next morning.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Cycle King today.

About two weeks ago, I went in with my son’s bike because the crank arm was broken. The person who helped me at the time was very nice and helpful. They advised me to order the part and come back, saying that once I had it, they could fit it the same day as it was only a small job that would take around 10 minutes.

Today, I went back with my two boys. We don’t live locally, so it was a journey for us. Unfortunately, the person working there today told me to come back tomorrow. I politely asked if they could at least loosen the crank arm so I could change it myself, but again there was no willingness to help and I was simply told to come back tomorrow.

I previously had a very good opinion of Cycle King, but today’s experience was very disappointing. It’s a shame because not all staff seem to be as friendly and helpful as the person who assisted me the first time.

Great service and speedy delivery.

We ordered a bike through the website and paid for faster delivery, then received an email saying that they won't have it in store until after the delivery date we'd already paid for - no apology from them. They offered us an ex-display bike FOR THE SAME PRICE or we could wait until the following week to receive the new bike we had paid for. We had already shown our son the bike and told him the date it was being delivered, so then had to break it to him that we'd been sold something that the company didn't have on site and that we'd have to find another company. We went with a more expensive bike from Decathlon and delivery was taken a day earlier than we expected so everything worked out well but, after the rude customer service and no apology from the company, I wouldn't touch this company again.

Smashing service, they rang to say they didn't have the bike I had ordered at their store but another store close by did have one and if ok they would arrange for that one to be delivered.

It was a present for my Grandson and they assured me it would arrive in time for his Birthday and be ready to collect..

It was and he was chuffed with it

5 star service. Excellent all round.

Easy to order and arrived quickly. Few companies sell the elastics for bike carriers which screw on. A shame as so effective, they use them all the time in the Netherlands where I bought my last ones.

The quality of the parts, along with their value and knowledge was Outstanding. My local Cradley Heath Store deserves a 5 Star just for the Quality and Customer service.
