I should have looked here before I ordered! Sizes not correct, returned orders and have tracked them to see Dance Direct have received them. Emailed over a week ago to see where they are but haven’t heard back. Have chased. Won’t be ordering again

I feel one star is even too generous quick to take money sent 5 emails no correspondence as to confirm the order or acknowledge it , still nothing next day delivery is non existent avoid dealing with them

So I purchased some shoes from Dance Direct. Where does it say in your T&Cs and Privacy document that this then allows you to spam my email address with every future offer you have?
I'd like you to direct myself and anyone else who reads this review to the appropriate section(s) of T&Cs. If you can't direct me then you have simply abused my personal data.
It's not for me to tell others how to run your business but you need to be carefully about spamming people. You can alienate people very fast.
Why do receive the spam when I never gave my consent?

Brilliant experience. I was apprehensive about ordering tap shoes online as all the makes vary so much. I wanted the leather Bloch Sync Tap and Dance Direct were the cheapest online. I did a lot of research to see what Blochs sizing reputation was and nearly everyone said they are a small fitting size up half a size. So I did and they arrived in a couple of days and are perfect. Amazing sound and fit. I am experienced at tap dancing so know a good shoe and fit.

Like others here I ordered some ballet shoes that were insanely small. Absolutely nowhere near the advertised size.
Returned them back to them via their “fast and easy” returns system. I tracked the return and it arrived back with them on the 12th December. I asked about progress on the 21st and was told they need 14 working days to process it. It’s now the 2nd January and still no refund.
Very poor experience overall

I ordered my daughter a pair of Ballet Shoes, stated on their site as a 11 and a half...measuring 19.3 cm
However when they arrived they were so small so I presumed simply the wrong size had been printed on the shoe as these were coming up as the size of a size 9 1/2-10 so significantly smaller.
I contacted the company.. Only to be told I ordered the wrong size... So I then showed them the measurements and explained what they should be.. They then told me they would be contacting their product department..
Then received a reply saying
"
Thank your for your patience Gilli. I have spoke with the product department and the way they take measurements on this type of shoes it´s not with a tape measure. The special equipment that we issue inside of the shoe it´s correct. We advice you to order 1 or 2 sizes up depending on how tie the shoe was"
This makes no sense.. Why would you measure a size 11 1/2 etc..then stitch etc and make it smaller... And then sell as a 11 1/2 ....
I don't want to have to return and reorder etc I'll probably get the wrong size again I guess..
Ridiculous customer service, seemingly excuses for poor manufacturing.

Not happy at all. Ordered jazz shoes for my daughter on next day delivery as she needed them for her class but they haven't arrived in the promised time frame and there is no delivery date now available on FedEx. I haven't had any update from dance direct and still awaiting response to my email. Disappointed and won't be using them again.
Please do not lie I have ordered from your website and finally got the order 4 days later. I did get express delivery refunded by you which I appreciate but doesn't change my disappointment as I needed my order for set date.

This company has amazing customer service. I had an issue with a garment which they resolved straight away with a replacement arriving less than 24 hours after I contacted them. Truly fabulous and would 100% recommend

Beware of buying ballet shoes.
Completely the wrong sizes advertised.
I ordered a size 13 child.
The shoe was tiny and more like a 9-10.
Completely unwearable, emailed customer services and they wouldn’t help at all or offer an exchange.
If you’re going to buy ballet shoes get at least 4 sizes bigger than you would normally buy.
I will never be buying from this company again.

This is my second review for the same issue. I do have a life lol!!! I just get extremely upset that these companies exist and do this to people. Having paid more than my item amount for 24hr delivery for something required for my daughters show last weekend, it never arrived! Its 6 days since i purchased. Paid an offensive amount for Fedex next day delivery and it simply never arrived. I have sent 7 emails on principle to the company and had no response. So what other choice than to let others know that this company really hasn't got a supportive customer care team at all, nor can you rely on the delivery. There literally is no one to contact!!!!!
Not actually sure if they exist at this rate.

Excellent service from Dance Direct. Ordered dance trainers on Saturday. Received dispatch email on Monday. Trainers arrived Wednesday within the timeframe given. Trainers were correct brand, size and colour. They fit beautifully and are very comfortable
