The Leeds Road Pharmacy in Harrogate…

The Leeds Road Pharmacy in Harrogate was extremely busy for the 30 minutes that I was waiting for my appointment. At 16.20 the manager left the premises to go home - leaving the remaining staff to try and cope with the amount of people waiting.

The pharmacy staff are extremely rude…

Re:North Kilburn Day Lewis pharmacy London

The pharmacy staff are extremely rude and incompetent, when issuing medication, I have experienced many errors over a period of time.

I would recommend for anyone that is having a similar experience to report your concerns directly to General Pharmaceutical council

Not one member of staff acknowledged me.

Not one member of staff acknowledged my presence when I entered the pharmacy in Liskeard, Cornwall and while I was standing at the counter for 15 minutes. No smile, no nothing, I was a non-person. There were 3 customers waiting for their prescriptions at the time. I waited patiently for a further 10 minutes, sitting on a chair whist staff were answering the phone and sorting out problems with orders etc. I decided to leave after 25 minutes and went to Boots pharmacy. They were busy with customers , however I was acknowledged with a happy smile from a member of shop staff. My problem was an infected, large swelling on my knee, due to an insect bite, which hadn't responded to topical treatments. The staff and pharmacist were prompt, efficient and friendly. A simple, 'sorry, we are busy and there is a long wait,' from at least one of the Day Lewis staff would have been appreciated. I wonder how Day Lewis staff would feel if they were ignored in a similar situation. As a retired nurse, no matter how busy I was, I always made time for people. No one was ever ignored, even the quiet ones in the background.

Rude Member of Staff (Cowes)

There is one member of staff who is on the desk dealing with customers, perscriptions etc and has been for many years. Honestly they should think about moving her away from this position because she goes above and beyond to be rude to customers. I went to collect a perscription today - two items. Was given one, when I questioned it she looked down her nose at me and told me I was wrong. I went on to explain that I had been at the doctors on Friday evening and there were definitely two items on the perscription. She refused to respond any further as she was most definitely right. Honestly this is not customer service and someone in the pharmacy needs to bring her back in line as this behaviour is utterly unacceptable. On my perscription I called my medical centre as this is whom she blamed also and they informed there were two items on my script - so someone please tell me where they are as I not well enough to be dealing with this

Kind and professional

Having forgotten my asthma meds while on holiday, I was really pleased by how kind and professional the staff were at this pharmacy.

AVOID!

St John’s Colchester branch.

Do yourself a favour and choose another pharmacist.

I’m a very polite individual but I was the 3 rd person to complain about how long the wait was. I can appreciate a long wait time if it’s really busy but there’s 4 people sitting in the pharmacy all waiting more than 30 mins because there’s 1 actual pharmacist checking and in this case an African chap (nothing against his race - purely for identification purposes) with a very bad attitude. Backed up by a bunch of moody older women who take everything as offence. They don’t like being called out on their own incompetence whether it’s polite or not. They do not like anybody simply asking please tell me where my prescription is.

Well lo and behold mine was sitting. Under a box… I could hear them saying “it doesn’t ring a bell” when I said my name - none of them no what the hell is going on. It’s an absolute
Sh”t show in there.

The worst part is that they proceed to tell you that you are rude. Why? Because I’ve articulated myself better than you can and highlighted that this is not acceptable? I literally hate complaining but this lot are just a shambles and frankly embarrassing.

Even the pharmacist it’s shameful. I was told to be quiet because I would wait 2 hours at Tesco and his little band of old ladies talk about you and think you can’t hear them. It’s just disgusting

They know they are failing.

Superb service always

Superb service always, including home delivery, and dealing with an occasional emergency requiring urgent dispensing. And the professionalism of the main pharmacist makes them easily the best pharmacy I’ve encountered.

Day lewis thorogate

Day lewis thorogate, some staff are lovely and helpful but some are obnoxious rude, I went in for my partners medication and the pharmacy said out loud oh he's on universal now, like just let everyone else know in chemist, no need for it, he works part time but gets a little help, but this chemist lets everyone know your business, and the gossip , well that's another issue

The staff at the triangle shopping…centre Walton on the Naze

The staff at the triangle shopping centre day lewis are mostly very helpful and the pharmacist, but after having an issue with a missing item the lady behind the counter just said phone your GP , when I explained that I had run out of this particular medication she just said phone your GP , when I explained this happened last month as well she just said phone your GP, I explained the GP has a special line for prescriptions and it was not available Friday afternoon, she just said YOUR NOT LISTENING TO ME I'VE TOLD YOU PHONE YOUR GP, the pharmacist then came to attend to me she was very helpful and explained I needed to phone 111 which I did and she gave me 6 days emergency supply, it didn't end there Lisa the assistant who first served me made up a pack of LIES about what happened and said I was abusive and swearing etc I then received a Warning letter from day Lewis telling me about the incident with LISA and that this behaviour will not be tolerated !!!! The counter person NAMED LISA IS A LIAR and made this story up to cover her own back , SHAME ON YOU ,you can trust a thief , but you can never trust a LIAR LISA

Great service from Day Lewis Cranham

Great service from Fay Lewis, Cranham pharmacy. I pay privately for Mounjaro, and the care and attention to check if I met the criteria was great. The pharmacist was really helpful and gave some great advice, and the man who took my blood pressure - Adam, was helpful and calming. Really pleased I chose a local pharmacy rather than an online one! Thank you for a great service!
