Bought some proxies to test the…

Bought some proxies to test the company. All were marked as abused. The ISP proxies were marked as data centres, which also isn't ideal.
Support couldn't care less. Will not be using them and couldn't recommend anyone do so either.

Superb product and great support

Superb product - just works. Great range of tools and they know how those tools are to be used and the challenges that their users are trying to address.

SCAM WARNING: Broken Proxies and Predatory Refund Policy!

I purchased a 300 GB plan hoping to upgrade my project's speed, but it was a huge mistake. From the start, I received constant 400 and 500 HTTP error codes. The proxies were completely unusable.

To diagnose the issue (to check if it was me or them), I had to run tests, which consumed a tiny amount of bandwidth (1.42 GB out of 300 GB). When I contacted support to report that the service was broken and requested a refund, they refused solely because I "used" that 1.42 GB.

It is a trap: They sell you a broken service, force you to use data to troubleshoot it, and then use that "usage" as an excuse to keep your money. This is a scam behavior. Stay away from decodo.com!

Thanks for sharing your experience. HTTP 4xx/5xx errors can be caused either by the target website or by an incorrect setup, which is why our team usually asks for tests and logs to diagnose the issue rather than treat the service as “broken” by default.

Our refund policy allows refunds when usage stays under a small threshold and within the conditions listed there; once that limit is exceeded, we’re generally unable to refund, even if only a fraction of the plan was used. We understand how frustrating that can feel, but it’s just a clear boundary we apply consistently.

If you’re open to it, our support can still review your setup and logs to see whether we can help you get working results with the remaining traffic on your plan.

Extremely Unstable Connection — Forced to Change Ports Constantly

I’ve been using Decodo Proxy for a while, and the connection quality has been extremely disappointing. The service works for a few seconds, then stops completely. To get it running again, I have to close the profile, change the port, reopen the profile, and repeat this process every few minutes.

This makes the proxy practically unusable for any real tasks. A stable connection is the minimum expectation for a paid proxy service, but right now I spend more time resetting ports than actually using the proxy.

I genuinely hoped for a reliable service, but the constant interruptions and lack of stability have made the experience very frustrating. Unless the connection issues are fixed, I cannot recommend Decodo to anyone who needs a dependable proxy solution.
