This is a great book - bite sized chapters that are easy to navigate, sound bites from a variety of voices representing many different facets of the art world. Some of it you might already know, but that just goes to reassure you that you’re doing ok.

'Navigating the art world' is a brilliant book, informative and easy to read. As an early career artist, I found this to be a really encouraging read, in particular the section on social media. Highly recommended!

As a young artist, this book helped me understand how the art world works and gave me the courage to fight for my dream. It will be something I will carry with me for the rest of my life, for sure!

An amazing book for any artist starting out, its always with me and easy to got back to and re-read at anytime. Some great information and understanding of the art world. A must buy..!

Good reading for anyone starting a career in traditional art, although most of the advices are valid for digital artists. Gives a general vision and some great insights on how to deal with galleries and promoting your work.

I purchased "Navigating the Art world" recently and it has answered so many questions and clarified essential information for me. It's an easy read and not filled with marketing jargon but real language that you can relate to with tips and suggestions that make total sense. I would highly recommend getting this book!

‘Navigating the art world’ is a friendly book, written with humour and touching upon all the questions that haunt an artist after graduating from art school. However I founded the text less practical than expected; for example I would have been interested in learning more about how to draw a business plan and develop entrepreneurial skills. ‘Work hard’ and ‘develop your social media’ are the two main advices that stand out.

Really useful and interesting little book. Helped give me reassurance when I was having a bit of a wobble over if I can break through the art world as a newcomer.
Only downside is it is very short, more of a booklet than a book. Feel like it could have been so much more. Would have liked to learn more answers to questions such as; can you be represented by more than one gallery at once, what is a reasonable commission percentage and can this be negotiated, info about posting artwork, ways to go about selling your art outside of galleries, etc.

A very accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date guide for the world of arts. As a fashion photographer and emerging visual artist I found it useful and helpful. Absolutely recommending!

This guide book "Navigating the Art World - Professional Practice for the Early Artist Career" is the most precious thing I could acquire for myself. Being literally like a Bible for artist, there are lots of helpful advice on how to explore the art scene, how to contribute to it, as well as what to do when "things go down" for a young artist like me. Thanks to the team of the Delphian Gallery for a beautiful initiative to create this amazing book and to help thousands of artists worldwide.

Bought Navigating The Art World – Professional Practice For The Early Career Artist, the book is very much on point with some takes on how an artist can chase exposure (or not) as well as different postures that can be adopted towards getting it.

I feel every artist starting out or even the ones fresh out of the academy would benefit from reading this as more often than not, the art business isn't really taught along with artistic skills in schools, no matter the degree, so this book can be a good start.

Shopping experience wise was a little worried about the shipment since it was coming from the UK down to Portugal and untracked. Emailed, was promptly informed about my shipment ETA which felt very reassuring, eventually, it came and with no delays past the expected time-frame.

After graduating art school I felt kinda lost. The book "Navigating the Art World" inspired me to finally start something I had rather neglected: the Business Side. For example, it motivates the reader to get started with social media and a digital presentation of one´s work.

A true gem of a book, just what I've been needing to nourish, motivate and inspire my Masters in Fine Arts students. Great friendly service too!

This book is possibly the most thoughtful and inspiring book I’ve read in these times. You can also tell that the writers behind the book are probably genuinely nice blokes who are really passionate about augmenting the social constructs of art and it’s participants

Incredibly grateful to have had those words in between my hands. There is some things i didn't know, some things i knew and needed to see printed in front of my eyes, but above all, happily convinced that the struggle is going to be worth it

It’s honest, including and it’s breaking down the impossible and invisible boundaries between emerging artists and the art world. Really so much food for thought, and so hands-on.
