The hate is insane. I've ordered 3 sperate times over the last 5 months. No issues, I've had my refunds go through, quick responses to my tickets and amazing products delivered to my house.

Don't bother they are a scam, no tracking details and only replied once I got PayPal involved. Thanks PayPal if it wasn't for you I would have been scammed out of $90 aud!

I do not understand the negative reviews. I have ordered several times from this company with no issues at all. All items are well made with beautiful materials and details. Shipping varies depending on the item , but they are very transparent as to how long it will take. Customer service has responded to emails within 24 hours every single time I contacted them. Would highly recommend this company.

I started ordering from Devilinspired two years ago.
The first 3 orders I would have given them 4 stars without hesitation, because the quality of the clothes is top notch, the pieces are beautiful too. the only hitch was the delivery time really too long (sometimes up to 3 months late).
But from my fourth order onwards, it started to be a mess.
I ordered a dress that was supposed to arrive in a month, but in the end it took 6 months, and I got no apologies, nothing.
In the meantime I had pre-ordered two dresses .
One that was supposed to arrive in 2 months. Finally, 7 months later, they wrote me that the dress was out of stock? Even though I pre-ordered it!
It's crazy. They then offered me a refund, which I had to wait two months for. I had to harass them to get my refund because they totally ignored me.
The second, I received about two months late. And it arrives without sleeves?
So I wrote them that the sleeves were missing, several times, and no reply.
So once again I had to harass them on Instagram PUBLICLY to get a response.
They told me that the sleeves were not included . Except that I had screened the article when I ordered it where it was specified that the sleeves were indeed included.
They dared to change the article on the site saying that the sleeves were not included! I sent them the screen saying they were wrong, and asked them to send me sleeves for free .
They told me that someone from the team had indeed made a mistake, and that they could send me the sleeves apart exceptionally for 30 euros? 🥹
That's crazy! They lied, then told me it was their mistake and finally asked me for money.
As I can't find them anywhere else and I needed my complete dress, I told them to take all my bonus points from my account and I had to add 10 euros.
It’s a shame .
I will never order from this site again in my life,
They lack professionalism, the customer service is deplorable, and they don't give a damn about their customers.
Try to buy on taobao if you find a good agent, avoid this site.

Website and support is a scam! Bought stuff but only 2 of my 30 items came and they wont help. The 2 items that did come are terrible quality and they want me to ship back to china on my expenise

Absolutely awful company, have no idea how they are still in business, won't communicate with you and good luck getting your parcel, plus the markups are shocking, if you want a good taobao reseller I recommend 42lolita!

I hadn't ordered on this website before so it was a bit of a gamble. I ordered this dress for my birthday, I was so worried it wasn't going to come on time but it came earlier than they said it would! And I was not disappointed with the quality, this dress is my first lolita dress and it's so beautiful and well made!
I sent them two emails which both they replied to and helped me out!

Was exactly how they described. The only thing missing was a single bow but otherwise good material for polyester and arrived pretty quickly.

I was very anxious after reading some of the reviews for this company, but it is definitely not a scam because I received my items and really loved them. It took 3.5 weeks but I was aware I may have to wait as the website made that very clear. I also found the tracking info on the website for my order very helpful- I got to see where my items were every step of the way. The only reason I leave 4 stars rather than 5 is that the items were quite expensive, but I'm still very happy with what I got and will potentially order again.

Very bad experience with them. I purchased my item last nov. 12, 2023 and its been more than 2 months now I still haven't received my order. Tried to email customer service but they always responded me with "its still in transit". And when I asked them for a refund as I no longer interested with the dress, they stop communicating. I feel that I got scammed and they totally left me hanging.

I think 3.5 stars is more accurate, but I think the current 2 star rating for the company is pretty low for the service I have received, so I'll round up.

I have placed 6 orders with DI over the past six months. For 4 of the orders so far, I received my items as ordered; I have yet to experience any issues with getting the wrong size/color etc. The quality is as expected. Because they are a Taobao reseller, every item will vary in quality depending on the brand you purchase from. Sometimes there are inaccuracies/typos on the size charts so be cognizant. There are a wide variety of good options if you shop with care and look for items or brands with reviews.

Shipping takes a long time. You can see when an item is processing, in production, or ready to ship to you on the order page. Once all items are ready to ship, they will notify you and you can track the package. Once it was shipped, it took on average 20 days to arrive. I have received items weeks earlier than expected and I have also received them weeks later than expected. The "Processing Time" that is on an item page is not very accurate.

But, I have always gotten the package in the end (so far). I am currently waiting for 2 orders, one placed 11/25/23 and the other 12/12/23. The first should have already been shipped to me, but is still in production according to the order page. We will see when it gets to me. I would not recommend ordering from DI if you need an item within a timeframe, or at least just give a wide window. Just assume it will arrive to you later than expected because the listed processing/production time is so unreliable.

It's also worth noting that DI marks up items from Taobao significantly. For example, there was a $15 cost difference between a listed item on Taobao compared to DI. But, I believe the free shipping deals make it cost-effective for a consumer in the end. I would recommend purchasing from DI only when they have a free shipping deal. If you are willing to pay for shipping, go somewhere else. You can also often find the original Taobao listing for an item using image search if you want to consider how marked up it is before buying.

Customer service is notorious. It is a mixed bag and unreliable, but I don't think they are malicious. They let me change the size of an item when I ordered it wrong before it shipped to me, and for that I am grateful. They got back to me within 24 hours for that matter and I received the correct item in the end. However, they have never replied to me regarding non-urgent questions about my orders, so take that as you will.

Overall: DevilInspired is a legitimate Taobao-reselling service to get J-fashion clothing. My experiences have been overall positive, as have my friends and family who have purchased. I don't think it quite deserves the bad wrap it gets, but there are significant concerns to consider regarding customer service and the timeframe in which you receive your items.

They aren’t scammers as I have received (almost) every package I’ve ordered, but their customer service is definitely subpar and they do have dishonest business practices. 1. Communication is friendly, but slow and unreliable—I attempted to email them about a tracking link with no response for 10 or so days, due to a mid autumn festival break that there was NO communication or announcement about. Also, they no longer do live chat for some reason even during working hours, which makes asking quick questions much more cumbersome.
2. They offered me a code for a 12% discount but failed to mention to me in the email that it would not apply to orders that already have free shipping.
3. One of the items I ordered was out of stock. Strangely, the website didn’t show this and they only sent me an email saying this after the order was placed. I had the option of having it refunded to my PayPal, so I chose that, and I was told it would be refunded in about 5 business days. It’s been a month and I haven’t received it.

And honestly some of their promotions just seem a bit ridiculous. They tried to frame $10 off $100/$20 off $200 etc as the “biggest sale of the season.” They don’t do flash sales anymore.

In all, I think service quality has been declining over the years, and they do have some dishonest business practices. I thank the company for sending me most of my packages, but I don’t think the effort is worth it. If you have any chance to travel to China at some point, locate the indie producers on Taobao and buy directly from them instead. It’s a lot cheaper.

You can't return to them. We shipped to China, only to have the dress in customs for 6 weeks and counting. They do not respond to communications. My kid spent $120 of their hard-earned money.

Bought a jacket from here and it's one of my favorites! Found out that this place sold the original version and I just had to get it even if the price was much higher. Although, you do get what you pay for (at least in my experience).
The quality was great and the details were on point. Shipping took quite a while (approx. 2 months) which was expected as it was clear in the description. Customer service was also quick to answer and quite nice people.

tried to order but couldn't. it just gave some error screen thing, and i don't know if my order was confirmed or not. will not be trying to order again..

I ordered items for my birthday near the end of November. I was waiting for my order to be shipped, but apparently there was one item - a veil - that was labeled as "being made." So I thought, "oh, it must be a preorder that I missed it saying it was a preorder - oh well. I can wait."

I waited and waited, after checking that preorders could take up to 4-5 months to be made. I was fine with that. But four months later I received this message:
"We're so sorry to inform you that the following item you ordered was out of stock."

How the hell can this be possible? How is an item I was waiting 4 months for it to be made "out of stock?????????????" Customer Service had nothing to say about it other than "sorry it's out of stock, we can refund you." I was absolutely livid I had waited FOUR MONTHS for this ONE item that was holding up my entire order, with zero (0) communication about it the entirety of my waiting, and when they finally decided to either ship my order or reach out to me, it was OUT OF STOCK????????????????????

I took the refund and made a mental note to never order from this site again.

I'll be shopping for my lolita items elsewhere.

I bought a petticoat from devil inspired and it looked nothing like advertised. On messaging the customer service team, they attempted to explain how to use the product which, again, was not what i recieved. I opened a dispute via paypal and they attempted to get me to close this dispute in order to send me a replacement. DO NOT DO THIS. if you close a dispute, you cannot open a second one if they do not follow through with a refund. Luckily I knew this, but it was incredibly scammy and underhanded to try get me to close the dispute. Do not buy from this company, and if you want to risk it, pay through paypal. They refunded me the full amount relatively quickly.

Extremely disappointed. Will not be buying from here again.

ordered a skirt at the end of may, and when i got it it looked NOTHING like the picture. i read their return policy to see what to do and i had to email them to get the address to return + i had to pay £21+ to make sure it was tracked... so in total i had spent over 80+ on this order alone. their refund policy is a JOKE, you only get a full refund when they haven't shipped out the item, and even with the refund, i only gained back £50 on what i wasted on that order. it takes forever to get a refund too because the sorting office hold your package hostage (i waited a full month for it to be delivered).

only thing good from this was the customer service. other than that, do not return and just sell the items you get from this company.

Scammers. The products dont look like the pictures on the website at all. They advertise that you are able to return the products and get a refund. However they do not refund. Paypal can not help here either because issues with returns arent included in their buyer protection. I payed 40€ for shipping back to china and still didnt get my 100€ refund!!!!

Its my fourth time ordering from them, and the first time things go badly. 3 first times were perfect, 1 time ordering with a friend was awkward.

In most cases I would recommend ordering with them. The shipping is slow, but it is well explained on the site why it is so long. Do not expect anything to show up at your door before 3 months.
I have no issues with this.

They are a Taobao reseller, making it easier for international customer to get their hands on some quality products.
The clothes are of good, even excellent quality. Usually great fabrics, good craftsmanship. I did not get any knockoff products from them.

I can commend customer service on their quick reach out about my order. They responded fairly fast during opening hours.

Since they are a resseller this might be where things go south. They typically give a 30 day preorder period to place your order. They also announce the preorders via social media and in ads on the web, in mobile gaming, etc.

What happened in my case on two separate occasions for the same item: the countdown was not finished but the customer service would not let me place an order. The second time, I managed to place an order just 4 days after the preorder window opened and the notified me the item was discontinued the monday after. They had placed ads and posts on social media featuring the item.

I opted for a full cancellation and refund. They wanted to only refund 80% for a restock fee of some items but after providing them with screenshots of their own ads and social media posts still circulating featuring the item, they gave me the refund. Currently waiting on the funds to be credited to my card via Paypal.

My advice : be wary when ordering. Take screenshots before placing orders, of everything; ads, your order, the countdown, their own website, absolutely everything. Just in case.
