I bought 2 beds to the value of 15k and the site said free delivery for purchase of over 2999. I receive a call to say am I home for the delivery , I said yes then she tells me my area is a high risk I must come and collect myself , so I asked who will pay for the car that must collect she says me. In this conversation there is not apology that we could not leave up to our promise , actually they are telling me that me coming t collect is the only option and I refused my logic is that they outsource deliveries , so why are they not willing to pay for it . The audacity to think this is okay . when purchasing online I put my address why did the system not tell me no deliveries in my area . the lady said she will speak to someone and come back to me , still nothing then I call back same attitude from another lady telling me they cant pay for the car to collect my staff . This customer service is appalling and you agents making it seem it if my fault

I ordered a bed on the 28.12 online and still did not receive it.
After a few calls where I only requested the delivery date someone was going to call me back to confirm. 5 days later still no call from them.

I bought a Queen Sealy Crawford Pillow Top mattress with a grey fluted base from Dial‑A‑Bed Johannesburg (CNR Avon Street & Main Reef Rd) on 4 August 2025. It has only been 5 months, yet both sides of the mattress have sagged, making it extremely uncomfortable. Very disappointed with the quality and I hope Dial‑A‑Bed can assist with this issue.

I had my bed delivered on the 5th of November 2025, and I’m really impressed!
The online order process was a bit tricky — I actually had to cancel and redo my order to get the discount, and I’m still not sure if it was applied correctly.
However, the free delivery service was absolutely excellent! The team went above and beyond — they delivered at a time that suited me, called ahead to confirm their arrival, and were both professional and genuinely humble. It’s been a long time since I’ve received such friendly, positive service.
Most people in retail seem tired and underappreciated, but these guys were the total opposite — they clearly take pride in their work.
Big thumbs up to the delivery team and Dial-a-Bed for great customer service! 👏

1/5 stars - Horrible Experience with Dial-a-Bed Woodmead
I'm extremely disappointed with my recent purchase from Dial-a-Bed Woodmead. On September 27, 2025, I bought a mattress that was delivered two days later, and I was forced to use their delivery and paid R500 for it. However, the mattress was a letdown, and I returned to the store the very next day, September 30, 2025. To my surprise, I was forced to pay R500 for delivery again and they wouldn't release the bed without their own transportation, and it has to be their delivery nothing else.
The return process was a nightmare. I was told I had to give the mattress 30 days to adjust, but after two weeks, I went back to the store on October 18, 2025, to exchange it for a better one. However, I was shocked when I was asked to pay another R500 for delivery and R395 for steam cleaning. On top of that, the sales staff tried to sell me a mattress protector for over R700. which I found outrageously overpriced. and me paying for R1000 for delivery all together is stealing from their customers.
The pillows I bought on the 27th of Sep 2025 were also a disaster - they were too hard, and I only used them for a day, and they gave me neck pain for a week. The sales staff were unfriendly and pushy. When I returned to the shop for a mattress exchange, the salesperson was taking instructions from the manager, making me pay more than I was supposed to. Yes, I agreed to pay for the exchange bed that I was exchanging with, but as for making me pay for more products that I do not want it is up surd otherwise you won't have exchange if you do not dance to their demands.
To add insult to injury, I was told that getting a refund was out of the question. I'm shocked by the treatment, especially compared to my previous experience with Dial-a-Bed in Brits 10 years ago. I bought 3 beds and 2 pedestals from them, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, and I kept going back for more and sang their praises.
However, this experience with Dial-a-Bed Woodmead has been a huge letdown. The beds are overpriced, and the treatment is horrible. Paying R1000 for delivery is outrageous. I will never recommend Dial-a-Bed Woodmead to anyone and will never shop there again. In fact, I'd give them -5 stars if possible.

I purchased a bed online specifically to avoid the hassle of going to a store, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. The warehouse was given the wrong delivery address, and instead of resolving it efficiently, I had to make several phone calls to chase updates. Despite all this, my bed still hasn’t been delivered.
The service has been extremely poor—if it can even be called service at all. I would not recommend Dial-a-Bed to anyone based on my experience.

I purchased a Sealy Crawford Firm BedSet from Dial-a-Bed in November 2024, and I’m extremely disappointed. Within just four months, the mattress developed a massive dent, making it incredibly uncomfortable to sleep on. It’s a non-turn mattress, so there’s nothing I can do to fix or rotate it.
Now, only six months after purchase, the bed is in terrible condition and looks like it’s years old. I expected far better quality from a reputable brand and retailer.
I reached out to request a replacement. So far, I haven’t received a clear explanation about the collection and replacement process, or whether I’ll be left without a bed while it’s being sorted.
This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. For the price paid, the quality and support have been severely lacking. I wouldn’t recommend this mattress to anyone.
