Amazing quality product, super fast delivery and lovely customer service. The boots were perfect for my hen do and for my wedding in August. Will happily be buying more boots in the future!

Custom boots - buyer beware
Ordered boots in a custom calf width. First the good things - the quality of the boots was very good, the leather was soft and comfortable, colour and stitching were all faultless.
However, my supposedly custom-sized boots were flapping about on my legs massively - far too much room between boots and leg, definitely not as shown on site pics of same boots.
Requested refund because I found boots too big on leg. Was told to send back photo of my original measurement so they could check whether I had done it properly, as they had made boots to what I had given them. Seems no refunds for custom items allowed - even if they don't actually look anything like what you saw on the site.
UPDATE: After further discussion and sharing photos of the fit, I was granted a refund but warned this was not usual practice. I was also sent two emails pleading with me to update this review.
I have given an additional two stars because I was granted a refund eventually. However, I found the tone of the emails sent to me unsympathetic and patronising. Being told initially that I needed to confirm the measurement - and send a photo of what I had measured, when they give clear instructions for thisnon their site - implied this was my fault for getting it wrong. This did not make me feel like a trusted customer. And then I was asked twice to rewrite this review, which (given I won't buy from them again) seems misguided.
Conclusion - boots are worth the money if you buy standard calf sizes. Make up your own mind whether you want to risk a custom order...

Metallic cowboy boots cracked after 1 week, now 4 weeks on and the coating is completely peeling away. Tried to ask customer service if they consider this normal, to be told it is wear and tear and essentially my fault. An actual shambles. They won't last long if they blame their consumer for poor quality.
**** Edited to address Dia Studios reponse***
Below is their reponse verbatim, from two different emails. At no point do they advise that I am not supported by their customer service because I purchased via Asos, in fact It's the first detail I gave them. A big shame that the designs are so lovely but don't be fooled by the poor quality or product matched with terrible customer service. I regret this purchase as they look so tatty already.
Working in technical for a brand myself, I find it insulting and unprofessional that the consumer is being blamed for coating peeling after 1 week (2 wears!). This product is not fit for purpose and is an insult to all hard work that goes into fashion product testing and wearer trials in other brands.
The following emails are all I received, no name, no sign off, no thanks for your your email. Super unprofessional.
"Sorry to hear about this but unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for chips and scuffs upon wear
But we do recommend avoiding knocking them against rough or solid surfaces as this will cause damage to the boot"
"Sorry to hear your disappointment. But we cannot be responsible for damage made upon wear"

poor quality and disappointing costumer service
ordered their boots and the soles completely fell apart within just 3 months of wearing. also the faux leather was already damaged after a few times of wearing. super sad because they are very pretty. i got in contact with their costumer service and they gave me a 10 procent refund and told me that they are not accountable for the damage, which i found very disappointing. i would invest in better quality cowboy boots if you have the opportunity because the boots don't last.
Colour wears off after one wear
I think the boots look great and they’re really comfortable however the quality is not good enough for the price. They also market them as “to be passed down”, implying they should last, but after one single wear (for two hours to my neighbour’s garden) the boots were all scuffed and wearing away on the front. The faux leather seems to just peel off so easily. I told the company and they gave me a 10% refund but said they couldn’t be responsible, I would have at least appreciated them acknowledging the quality as they really need to improve it for £80 boots.
