Jess Leggate (Aberdeen) has been brilliant through leaving process of my tenant and keeping my right and correct with all the next steps to re-advertise.

I wouldn’t even give it a star if I could. Absolutely appalling behaviour from this company. What they aren’t telling you about these houses or at least my experience is the people.. or person.. surrounding it. And the cardboard like house. Every step I took was a complaint waiting to be made by the downstairs neighbour, after 4 years of complaints and begging the Dj Alexander to change the floor they COMPLETELY ignored and denied doing so. We experienced constant abuse and repetitive harassment from our down stairs neighbour meaning we had to contact the police and nearly order a restraining order, due to the constant noise. Due to the lack of ANY effort to change the floors. After contacting them to leave the apartment and find somewhere new they illegally tried charging a price for a reference. Which in Scotland is completely illegal. And if you had any sense youd think twice about doing that next time, the house was as thin as paper. You can’t walk around without hearing everyone’s conversation. And getting 14 bangs and a good few rude words from the downstairs neighbour. the furniture provided are as cheap as can get and fall apart after a year of not months. Sorry to the next person who has to deal with these people. Embarrassing. 🤢

I've been renting through private landlords for a while, so renting through a letting agent seemed a more daunting bureaucratic task for me. This was not helped by Goodlord, a service created to streamline the process, yet which doesn't understand that humans aren't computers and we don't speak the same language if and when something goes wrong. However, this negative experience with Goodlord was entirely outweighed by DJ Alexander's Aberdeen letting team - Leigh especially has helped me and my co-tenant out so much that it would have been impossible to do it without her guidance through the process. Everything about letting through DJ Alexander was a five-star experience, especially the personal assistance, but I did not enjoy the Goodlord process at all, which left me feeling frustrated more often than I can remember. If you can put up with the AI-driven "optimisation" of a service that was serving perfectly functionally beforehand, then I'd definitely recommend DJ Alexander.

The Aberdeen team have been excellent throughout my process of looking for a flat. Gill and Partrycja have been excellent in terms of updates, communication, and finalising details/documents. I imagine that the rest of my communication will be much the same. Thank you.

I recently moved into a new flat and used DJ Alexander's Aberdeen branch to do so. Throughout the experience staff were professional, highly efficient and ensured a smooth process. In particular Patrycja Poscik was incredibly helpful and always responded swiftly to my emails/enquiries. I would highly recommend her services to all others looking to move/rent.

As a landlord I have dealt with DJ ALEXANDER for many years and in particular Andy Baker, he has always been very professional as well as being proactive in getting things seen to, whether it be keeping up to date with legislation or vetting prospective tenants. I was fortunate to have a property manager who always kept me informed and arranged all that was needed in a very professional manner. Nicole Galt gave me confidence that my property was always looked after. I live in Spain and cannot visit the house to carry out my own checks so it is important to have some one you can trust looking after your property and thanks to Nicole I had that confidence my interests were being looked after.

We have been using D J Alexander as our agent since late 2023, when they combined with Stonehouse lettings. We're generally happy with the service we receive - money gets paid to us promptly and issues generally get resolved quickly, subject to tradesman and contractors being available and tenants cooperating. Who looks after us changes now and again but that's okay as it's properly communicated.
It's been Jessica Leggate looking after our property now - doing an inspection and following up on that well. Recently she's been doing a good job regarding a roof repair, so getting a few quotes and following up on details. Hopefully she will stay looking after our property for a while.

We rented one of DJ Alexander’s spacious properties at Cults, Aberdeen from April 2023 to March 2026. As we were based in Sri Lanka at the time, other letting agents declined to offer online viewings. However, Samantha Bell and her team at the Aberdeen office of DJ Alexander kindly arranged a virtual viewing and went above and beyond to ensure everything was ready for us to move in directly from the airport, even on a Sunday.

From that point on, their cooperation and responsiveness to our minor requests were exceptional. Additionally, Samantha Bell and her team helped us find a reliable end-of-tenancy cleaning service in Aberdeen, ensuring the property met all DJ Alexander’s required standards.

We would highly recommend DJ Alexander. Keep up the excellent work. Thank you.

This company look after the flat I have a can honestly say that Gill who has been assisting me with getting a tenant and working through a tough period has gone above and beyond . An excellent service that I cannot fault.

I rented a flat through this company for almost two years and had no problems at all. When it came to me moving out, the process was so smooth and all staff were super helpful! I was there during the viewings and the viewing agents were lovely too! The girls and Hannah Byers were so helpful via email upon moving out and everything was done super quickly and easily!
