23% increase per premium year on year…

23% increase per premium year on year without any communication. If you are a foreigner / expat / business owner this insurance is not competitive and its packs are not economically efficient.

Health Policies:
We inform you that the amount of health insurance is reviewed every year taking into account the increase in the cost of medical services and anticipating the future needs of our insured, such as new coverage, treatments or medical advances, we indicate that DKV notifies you with two months In advance the price increase, also if you want to deal with your particular case, you can contact the free phone number 900 199 001.

Death / Life / Home Policies:
The increase in premium depends on the type of insurance contracted, so in order to give you a more specific explanation we would need you to indicate what type of policy you have contracted to the email atencioncliente@dkvseguros.es

We also indicate the channels to which you can go if you are dissatisfied with the increase in your policy, so you can present your letter at any of our offices or send it to the Customer Defense service. To do so, you can write a letter to DKV ERGO's registered office: Torre DKV, Avda. María Zambrano, 31 (50018 Zaragoza) or send an email: Defensacliente@dkvseguros.es.

No cooperation, no proactivity, no good database, robbing time from you over and over again.

I was trying to get an insurance since November until the end of February with no success. First they forgot to get back to me with the group of doctors' verdict. Then they called me 1000 times without any news, apparently just for chitty-chat and to go through the whole contracting process again with all the questions, my personal data etc. This like 3 times. Meanwhile a nice chatty lady called me tryin to sell another product, not even knowing that I am in another contracting process. 30 minutes of why I'm not interested in it. Nice database, right... I ended the story by saying 'Thanks, but no thanks' when after having everything checked and finally the "group of doctors" gave me the OK, they wanted another proof of my non existing condition.
No cooperation, no proactivity, no good database, robbing time from you over and over again.

First of all, we want to apologize for your bad experience. Please, write to arco@dkvseguros.es, indicating your name, surname and telephone number, to delete it from the database and that you do not receive any more commercial calls. Likewise, it would be of great help for us to indicate the number or telephone numbers from which you received the calls, in order to make the appropriate checks.

Regarding the registration of the policy, once an insurance application is received, it is studied individually and the declared background and risk are assessed. The company, based on its own technical criteria, can accept or reject the assumption of risk and, therefore, the contracting of the policy. This process can sometimes take a bit of time, depending on the amount of documentation that needs to be analyzed.

This is an awful company and I will be…

This is an awful company and I will be changing asap. I am currently sitting in a radiology department waiting for authorisation for a CT scan requested by the specialist yesterday. This is necessary for a lump on my head so urgent and not something I or my specialist should be waiting for.

Dangerous and without care

I have been waiting for 10 days for the doctor to speak with me. I told them the matter is urgent. The receptionist tells me 'The doctor is slow, he doesn't care so much'.

Laughable but also, very dangerous. Someone will die with this attitude. Do not use, under any circumstances. I am speaking with the British embassy to see if they can warn expats not to use this company.

Very sorry, but for legal reasons, DKV cannot interfere in the activity of doctors or medical centers. Therefore, we cannot interfere in how they organize their consultations, or how much time they dedicate to a patient with a certain pathology or treatment to be carried out, since it falls within the exercise of medical activity.

But we can record your observations and record the incident to monitor and control our medical providers.

First of all I was miss sold a very…

First of all I was miss sold a very expensive insurance that I did not need that cost €500 more .
Then they stole an extra €200 odd out of my account .
I have cancelled my direct payment and my contract so they cannot steal any more .
Their customer service is none existent ,they just don’t answer emails.
They always say the same thing after every complaint on this site .It’s lies because they do not answer the emails
We will get back to you in 15 days😡.
I’m trying to complain about this disgraceful company but I’m finding it very hard to do.
Stay well clear from this despicable company .
I don’t believe the 5 star reports .
Policy number 0170012001180 in case you think this is lies .
I also had problems with their service .
I was in contact with someone that had COVID I made an appointment to speak to someone on Friday by Monday it had been cancelled . I see they have now sorted this but it was no help at the time
My wife needed a breast scan but she had to travel to see a gynecologist . Why 😣
In answer to their reply I did contact them
It wasn't till I sent about 20 odd emails then they phoned me back . It didn’t effect my review . I was still miss sold then got a quote for a year for one month . Never got one for the following year . They say they don’t send out these which was a lie . Why would you want to see a gynecologist to get a Mano gram It’s crazy . I made an appointment on line after the weekend it was cancelled . My friends insurance was € 500 less from same company

If you are not satisfied with the payments you have made, or the care received, you can submit a claim in writing to the customer defense service: Defensacliente@dkvseguros.es providing all the information you deem appropriate.

In relation to what you tell us about your wife, we want to inform you that all diagnostic tests must be prescribed by a specialist, who must visit the patient to assess the most appropriate test for their specific case, although in some cases it may be uncomfortable.

The worst customer service

They are the absolute worst at customer service. In my case I have asked for an authorization (for a child) which has been denied incorrectly. I pay for the Elite option which should include any kind of diagnostics. When dealing with customer service online they could not be more cryptic. No phone numbers, no names listed on the emails, sending documents which have the wrong password encrypted, just frustration up the wall. Do not recommend.

Have been with DKV for almost 12 yrs

Have been with DKV for almost 12 yrs. and have had surgery on both my knees had treatment for arthritis and cannot fault the treatment that l have received in Clinica Benidorm and quieron in Valencia.have never had a problem with this company.

Disgraceful - Absolute rip off

This company is a disgrace.
I had a suspected heart attack so I had to go immediately to the local hospital. DKV refused to pay as they said that I had not given them enough notice! I was incapacitated and in Intensive Care.How could I have done so?
When I was sold the policy I was told I could go to any hospital and they would refund the cost. This was not so. I was lied to.
Now I am trying to leave and they claim I cannot do so for another year even though I have been with them for several years.
Each time the invoice comes it is huge as they charge for any treatments you need.
An absolute rip off. Avoid at all costs.
