I thought it was unbelievable that the staff at the cedarcroft location could purchase items that did not get into the shelves. I saw this tonight and couldn't believe it. It really didn't seem FAIR to your customers.

If I could give negative stars I would... I didn't think that I would have to work when I'm shopping... Doing my own cash no one to help me cause there are no employees . No price stickers on anything so I guess I just have to guess the prices now... Everything is more expensive while the quality or lack of is the same. .the fact that they have profited more than ever these past 3 years and still don't want to contribute to society by giving jobs... Just another greedy shameful corporation. Nobody wants to work when they are shopping that's why it's called customer service. Shameful.

I just phoned Dollarama and they don’t allow returns, which is lousy customer relations to start with. On top of that they sell cat food called Lean Cuts that is so bad that even the feral cats outside in the middle of winter won’t eat it. They must know what’s good, so now I’m going to have to throw out my entire purchase. I won’t be buying at a store again that sells sub par cat food and won’t allow returns.
VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES DOLLARAMA
As someone that services vehicles for a living, I would strongly recommend not using any of dollarama's auto products. I have used a couple different gas additives that have caused problems with fuel pumps, a windshield washer fluid that caused the paint to peel and stained blue around the windshield. As an accomplished mechanic I tried these products as a cheaper alternative, big mistake.
Dollarama will not take any blame/responsibility or reimburse and these are their products, very bad business practices.
Rude employee
Today I was at the Dollarama in the Cambridge Mall around 4:45. My friends and I were looking at a stocking for our friend for Christmas and we were rudely interrupted by one of the woman working there. When we were looking for a stocking in the back we were placing other ones to the side and she rudely told us to stop stuffing them in the back and to hang them back up, while we were still looking. She then proceeded to argue with us as well as gossip to her coworker about us. This whole situation could have been avoided if she just was polite.
No longer $
The staff is friendly. The stores are well organized.
But it's no longer 'Dollarama', it needs to be renamed, $4++.
It use to be my go-to store for certain items.
At present, I can find a number of items cheaper elsewhere. There is competition.
Missing items
I bought a diomand painting today and it was missing the beads it showed it comes with them and this was not the only time I have bought many thing from there if was missing few things in the package , not happy about it
I have seen at least two viral videos…
I have seen at least two viral videos of very racist clerks at Dollarama, and even saw a sign on the door at one saying that they would not accept tax exempt cards for Indigenous Peoples. Rotten from the bottom to the top!
All i need for my artistic things

It was my first time and last time shopping
It was my first time shopping at Dollarama since my last time visiting Canada back to 5 years ago. Turned out to be very disappointing.
I purchased a pack of wipes and within 10 mins, I realised that I bought a wrong item and went back to the store immediately. I told the check out cashier that I would like to return but on the other hand, I would be getting 2 boxes of tissue papers.
The cashier asked me to pay for the tissue papers ( I paid immediately) then seek for someone to help With the return. Someone (guess more experienced than the cashier), at that point of time, said that there is no return policy. The cashier then called for another more senior person. Finally, I was told that no exchange and no return.
I would not be paying for the 2 boxes of tissue papers if the cashier firstly reminded me there is no exchange and no return policy. I bought the stuff just 10 mins ago and came back to tell them that I bought something wrong and at the same time, I am getting some new items too.
Again, if the cashier told me I could not return the wrong item, I would not be getting the new items.
Disappointed with the unprofessional and poor customer service.
There are many other choices out there so this would be my last time shopping in Dollarama.

We purchased a toy Pig for our dog and I noticed that she was pulling on Cotton please realize I took out all the cotton out of that pig and there was so much so so much please do not sell those pigs anymore
Bad attitude and unsatisfied customer
Lately I've been buying crafts from different Dollarama Stores in the west Island -montreal, so that I can have different crafts like butterflies, houses (wood)
I was enjoying my time visiting all the stores and it started to be a habit everyday i am visiting a new Dollarama store and get new things.
Unfortunately, one of the accessories was something missed but I got it without paying attention to it. It was from Dollarama pointe claire- fairview
Today i went to the Des sources Dollarama to exchange this item with another one since it has missing pieces so instead of getting 40pieces i got 30
I spoke to the cashier, he told me that he can't exchange it because it's from another branch
He called the manager
She was mean and rude and gave me a bad attitude.
Once i told her that i had it from another branch she cut me off and said we don't exchange it and left me and went to another section telling with high voice the cashier we don't exchange from another Dollarama store
She didn't let me continue my conversation she didn't apologize for that i kept looking at her she didn't care felt bad
I didn't even argue with her nothing
I had the receipt too
She was looking at her her watch maybe she was in a hurry she wanted to close at 5 since it's weekend
I worked with people and have a good experience in customer service positions she could have been nicer
That's all i totally understand that this is the policy but in a nice way
And actually it could be so successful if you guys could change this policy Where i can exchange the item easily from a dollarama near me without going back to a far one
Don't waste your money at Dollarama
Don't waste your money at Dollarama. Their products are garbage. You use their products and they work for one or two days then you throw them in garbage. If you spend a little more money in other retailers, their products will last forever. By the way, Dollarama is not a dollar store as you may think. Their garbage products can be priced as high as $4.50. Again, don't waste your money in Dollarama's garbage stores.
Don't shop at Racist Dollorama stores
Don't shop at Racist Dollorama stores, they are knot trustable, employees are liars and thieves stealing your hard earn money buying the Perfect Gift card Visa taking your money but knot loading it and client service suck's and even racist security guards working in that garbage store
DOLLARAMA Main St
DOLLARAMA Main St. Shoppers DRUGMART store. Every time I approach a clerk, they’re already signalling’NO’. I finally asked her how she knew what I was about to say. Her response, “not on shelf, no have!” This is unacceptable customer service and attitude. No refund, exchange, or whatever needs to be stopped! Item prices are $2.50 to over $4.00+, I have lost a lot of money because items were broken, packaging mislabeled, Sally Hansen nail polish wasn’t spreading and I bought 3, no refund! People need to get the owner to take responsibility for rudeness, scamming, horrible service, and give refunds! I have decided not to return to these awful stores, rather pay more and get good service and return option.
Rude cashier on Tuesday June 21
Rude cashier on Tuesday June 21, 2022, about 3 pm. She lied about not having any small bags. Her tone was rude. 979 welllington rd London, On
Recently at Dollarama on fairway road…
Recently at Dollarama on fairway road in Kitchener Ontario I purchased 2 products clearly marked within the product packaging, the price of $2.50. After paying for my order I noticed 2 products that cost each 50 cents more than the marked price. A refund was given and the explanation was because of a price increase on those products. This dishonest practice is wrong making the consumer the one to pursue the discount when the store should only be raising the price once the old inventory has been sold. A very poor practice for a large discount store like Dollarama. They need to do better.
I believe this company needs to…
I believe this company needs to seriously train the managers and staff who work at these stores. I've had many incidents of being racially profiled at this store particularly the Bathurst and Bloor location from being followed around the store or staff hovering me at the check out counter. I believe the white employee(s) who manage these stores need serious training on anti racism and discrimination because aside from my own personal experiences, I've heard and read many stories from BIPOC friends and other customers who are targeted simply because of how they look and despite being dressed well when they visit the store. When a BIPOC person walks into the store and they see that on their camera, managers seem to instruct their staff including their security guard to follow you around because they assume you will take something. Customers who walk in don't have a label that states they're a PhD student or attended U of T or whatever one's professional designation might be. They only see you're not white so the manager instructs their staff to follow you around. Pleaase stop your racial profiling. People cannot change the color of their skin. I really should take my money elsewhere and stop shopping at these stores which do not not treat people with respect and dignity regardless of the color of their skin, ethnicity or their origin.
Discrimination-- Racism---- Welcome to Canada
I used to go to many dollarama stores and buy many everyday items, but not any more. Based on the way I was discriminated against and the type of racial comments that were used against me, as a person of disability and an individual who can not wear a mask due to a medical condition,I will never shop at another Dollarama ever again. Companies like Dollarama are disconnected from the reality of equality for all the masses. Dollarama states that they are committed to providing a barrier-free environment for clients, and to providing our goods and services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. When I got to the front of the line, the cashier refused to serve me. There was a line up and only one cashier and the people behind me started making comments. After a few minutes another lady comes to the front and the two have a conversation together. The second lady opens another register to serve me, and the first cashier says "next in line". I inform both ladies that I am a person of disability and I can't wear a mask due to a medical condition, and that I shouldn't be treated like an animal because I am unable to wear a mask. When I entered the store, I informed the store employee standing at the door that I had a medical condition and I was unable to wear the mask, and she said it was fine to shop there.I ask for an explanation for the difference in treatment from other people shopping there, and neither employee provides any response to my question. After I leave the store, I file a Non compliance complaint with the City of Toronto. This is a company that portrays a false ideal of equality and inclusion through their professed Policy of Accessibility, that discriminates against disabled people,by providing one rule for the normal client and a different rule for the disabled person who is not viewed as being a normal human being, and therefore treated differently. The exploitation of disabled people by companies like Dollarama is unprecedented, unrealistic and the speculative manipulation projected by Dollarama, towards the disabled and disadvantaged, shows a complete disregard for any social and moral responsibility towards marginalized groups. Hatred becomes a cost effective business decision that portrays the belief or illusion that you, as a disabled person are significant until they take your money, then they rob you of your basic human rights and your ability to cope in a society where you should not be treated any differently than anyone else. Dollarama is a company that should not be rewarded through illogical interests, and should be held accountable for their attempt to destroy the well being of disabled or marginalized individuals, who are simply trying to exist and lead a normal life, like anyone else. You don't have to take my word for it, just look at the devastation experienced by the poor families whose lives were destroyed when their helpless family members in the Retirement homes across Canada were exterminated in the name of PROFIT. You may not care, but you should.
