Really good customer service . After my eye mask ripped after 2 weeks the customer service team were quick to send me a replacement and resolve my problem . The eye mask does wonders for helping me sleep better and is beyond comfortable . If my first order hadn’t been faulty this would be a 5 star but still highly reccomend based on the impeccable service I received

It’s advertised as silk. The material on the outside layer is silk. However, the inside liner that rests on your face is NYLON. It’s pretty obvious when you put it on that it isn’t silk. The nylon side feels like ANY other basic mask I’ve ever used…except maybe worse as the combination of nylon (not breathable) and the thick layer of material is so hot.
This is absolutely not worth the high price. I can’t believe what they are charging for this. It is one of the worst eye masks I’ve ever used and I’ve been wearing an eye mask for 25 years.

The outer silk fabric is nice and the size of the mask is pretty good, though could be further elaborated to better fit WOMEN's faces as they are the target group (see ads for example). I have another silk mask with silk padding, however the Drowsy mask is padded with plastic so it's not at all as breathable!
The biggest issue is that it slides down your face and almost covers your nostrils unless you attach it really hard - creating headaches. So far I have been unable to use this mask so money down the drain.
This problem could be solved with an elastic and preferably silk covered elastic in the back.

Last point, way too much boxing/packaging material.
The mask comes in a big gift box, which is put in a 5 times bigger cardboard box. Please stop cutting down trees to ship air. It's 2023.

Blocks out light sufficiently well but not 100%, super comfortable but strangely warm and makes strange plastic noises.

The reason for that is that it is filled with plastic.
They deliberately never mention the materials except for the 100% silk cover, but the entire rest is almost 100% plastic and you won't realize it until you receive the mask and read the tiny label.

So basically it is a trash bag made from silk. It does the job but is ridiculously overpriced.

REPLY: BS! Sleeping masks out there made entirely from the same silk (minus the fastening) cost only half as much, and your construction quality isn't even good either. The seams on mine were poorly made from the beginning and are already coming off after just a few months.
Not a single word ANYWHERE on your websites about all the plastic you put into them either, only a microscopic mention on the mask's label itself.

Your entire budget went into paying off magazines like Vogue for good reviews.

I ordered a black eye mask and silk travel case and only the travel case arrived.
Absolutely gutted.

I've been using eye masks to sleep for years, and thought I'd treat myself to the most luxurious one. Unfortunately it doesn't live up to the hype (or the more than £60 that I paid for it).

It blocks out the light very well, but it doesn't stay on through the night. I don't know if it's because I've got a big head, or if because I have long hair, or if perhaps I toss and turn a lot - but every time I wake up in the night it's slipped off. If I do the velcro any tighter then it puts too much pressure on my eyes, preventing me from getting to sleep on the first place. The mask is comfortable enough, but not notably better than any of the previous eye masks I've used.

It's a big shame, as I was excited for this, but now I'll be going back to the elasticated eye masks that stay on more securely (and are a fraction of the price).

Note: I was prompted to post on here as after my purchase I received an email asking me to leave a review on the Drowsy website, which I did. 2 weeks later and the review hasn't made it onto their website, presumably because it's a negative one. Something for potential buyers to keep in mind...

Absolute game changer. I’ve tried four other sleep masks from different high end companies and nothing compares to this one. The mask feels like it’s hugging your face and provides complete blackout. My sleep is so much better. Customer service is excellent, delivery is very quick too! Looking forward to them releasing as mask with eye pockets

Customer service at drowsy have since been in contact and were able to quickly resolve the issue. Resent item which arrived next day

They stated my emails were initially going to their spam folder which was why they did not respond..

Awful customer service, very expensive product that was never delivered. Sent via Yodel and apparently left in a “safe place” in my porch. Very interesting as I don’t have a porch. Yodel then stated it was left outside my front door. Obviously not a safe place and has been stolen, and I still don’t believe it was left at the right address as Yodel can’t even give a consistent version of events

Why would you send such an expensive item via such an unreliable courier? Three emails and an online customer service form sent to Drowsy and still not a single response

Really misleading marketing, a supposedly premium product with anything but premium customer service. Avoid at all costs or risk losing £70+ on a sleep mask, the stress will definitely keep you up at night as opposed to help you sleep!

You state on your web page in the description that your mask is 100% silk and alternatives are from synthetic materials. This is deceptive. Only the outer layer of your maks is made from silk. The inner layer is from nylon and the filling is from polypropylen, which you call PP cotton which is again misleading as you want to make people think it is cotton. That is a big dissapointment for the mask that originaly cost £69!

No delivery of my sleep mask - I should have received it last week. Checking my parcel delivery via the tracking number is pointless as Yodel web page is offering conflicting information. This is an expensive item and I would have thought a more reliable delivery service would be used .

Just an additional note after reading drowsy sleep company reply .
It is worth saying that I lodged a Mastercard claim only after being redirected to to the Evri site by Drowsy customer service several times - it was obvious to me the parcel was never going to be located . An incredibly frustrating process , as I the customer, was having to shoulder the responsibility of locating goods I had paid for.
Drowsy did refund me eventually after I had sent them a photo of the transcript of conversation with Evri stating that my parcel was lost.
Mastercard claim was then returned to Mastercard

I really hope that companies start to avoid Evri for deliveries - it’s the reason I have not ordered another mask , and try to avoid companies using this delivery service , based on multiple problems with parcels being “lost” with this carrier.

Package was lost in transit and customer service refused to file claim, refund or reship. Every response from customer service was sarcastic. I'm out 70 some dollars and the company does nothing.

I haven't been able to test the mask but all I can say is that the customer service is excellent!

Love this sleep mask. It blocks out all light (the bedroom light could be on all night and I would have no idea). I love that it covers your ears too. I removed 1 star because I have a pale pink mask and if you have even minimal make up residue on your face it transfers to the back of the mask. Even after 3 washes, there are still make up marks so it looks quite dirty, even though it's just been cleaned. I imagine this wouldn't be so noticeable with a dark mask though.

Magic. Plain. And. Simple. I hate not having it on. I'd gladly spend my whole day walking into things if it meant I didn't have to take it off. My job requires me to spend all day looking at a screen, unfortunately. Resultantly, I've been considering changing careers to tunnel engineer, or mine shaft digger so I can work somewhere dark in order that I need never take it off. That is how good this silky warlock is.

This is the best sleep mask ever. I usually have a mask and ear plugs, something that started at Uni but is now habitual. Now all I need is the Drowsy mask it takes place of both by blocking noise and light. I have noticed my eyes look brighter in the morning and my crows feet are softening. I absolutely love it, worth every penny. Customer service was amazing too.

The mask is INCREDIBLE. Has changed the quality of my sleep. Sent me a free bag to keep my mask in too. Amazing customer service.

I can’t explain to you in words how much love I have for this company. So I’ve tried their sleep oil which was fab and also their under eye cream but I’ve just recently purchased their infamous sleep mask.

Now let me tell you prior to this, I had purchase the dr Harris anti aging sleep mask and was disappointed by the cheap material and false claims so I went on a hunt for a decent sized sleep mask that would protect my eyes from wrinkles and of course help me sleep better... and I went for the drowsy sleep mask! The first time I used it to nap I fell asleep with in minutes it’s so soft and dreamy I’m excited to get another one as a spare! I also want to mention that Nicky from customer services was also amazing. I just really like this brand from their fun and friendly emails to the quality of the products it’s a win win from me and I can’t praise them enough. I’ll be recommending them to all my friends!

Nice eyemask, tbd how long the velcro lasts. This fit well on my head but was a stretch on my partner (adult/male). My big issue with this product is the packaging - came in two boxes, wrapped in plastic film. Clearly no thought for sustainability or reducing waste which is a shame. There was an unecessary laminated card which means non-recyclable. Seems backward nowadays to have a new business that disregards sustainability. I get they want to give a sense of 'luxury' but it just seemed cheap and wasteful; to me, eco-friendly materials are what warrant a premium.

I got mine with summer discount + new customer discount for £37. Had I paid the usual £49 I'd have felt ripped off.

The product arrived quickly- not always the case with brands that are heavily advertised on Instagram. Very soft and feels luxurious. My only issue is that they need to come in different sizes and unsure if it was tested on Afro hair. My partner loves to borrow the mask, but it doesn't fit properly around his head because of his locs, and the velcro fastening isn't compatible with his hair.

Sleep your troubles away.

Mask is lovely I did have a problem with the nose clip as it hurts so emailed this to Customer service who said they will replace it when new stock arrives.

I also believe as they are not cheap they should offer a sample of the pillow spray and maybe this would get more repeat custom.

Cant wait until I hear about the new stock but for the time this one is still lovely and silk is so soft and luxurious and blocks out the world.

Worth the money absolutely ❤
