Incompetent admin, avoid
I had the misfortune to ask for an RTC titration at this practice. Over email in December, before I would apply for RTC with them, I asked how long the waiting list was before I see the doctor for titration - they answered 12 weeks. I asked my GP to refer me to Dr J, and they did so, but forgot to send some of the requested documents. I did not know that because neither my GP nor Dr J had me updated or in the loop of what was happening. After a couple of weeks and lots of calls, this issue was sorted.
Next, emailed (they did not answer in more than a week), so I called Dr J in January in order to figure out how to add my other assessment documents that are relevant for titration, and I was informed that I am not in the system yet, because the waiting time is 20 weeks and not 12. But I was assured that in 20 weeks I will be seen by a doctor. The lady from admin explained to me that after 12 weeks, I will be added to the system and in 20 weeks, I will receive my appointment for my titration. The person in admin confirmed that they received everything and all good.
After two more weeks, I received an email that they don't know who I am and that I was never referred in the first place. In spite of their admin time confirmed to me twice that all is good.
I panicked and called the clinic, whrere thed confermed again that I was referred and they don't know why I received this message. I was very understandably confused and stressed, and asked to confirm again that I will see a doctor in April (20 weeks) - the admin person told me that she doesn't know why I think that I will have an appointment in 20 weeks, because the waiting time is 1 YEAR!
People who work at Dr J and Colleagues are incompetent, cruel and bring unnecessary stress. All this could have been avoided if, in the first email, they told me the correct waiting time.
I am beyond disappointed and depressed by their lack of professionalism and clarity. They work with neurodivergent people who are already struggling, and they make it much worse.

This service provides very fast care
This service provides very fast care, such as assessments, diagnoses, and treatment. In assessments professionals listen carefully and show genuine care and compassion. All professionals that I have had experience with show kindness and explain things extremely well. Care and treatment plans are discussed with patient’s and family’s full involvement and they ensure our voices are heard. Communication is also very clear and effective. My positive experiences made to feel very comfortable to express myself. Everything was very straightforward. I could not be more appreciative and I would 100% recommend this service to others.

ADHD Diagnosis
After many years of feeling something was not ok with me, and being treated by Dr J & Colleagues, I received a diagnosis and started on a treatment plan. I feel more positive having a diagnosis and a treatment plan. It's taken me many years going to my GP And they didn't know, but with the referral to Dr J & Colleagues I finally found out what was not quite right with me. Many thanks for Dr J & Colleagues, I can work to manage and receive the right type of treatment for what is not right with me.

Brilliant all round.
Since the initial contact from Dr J, I could not have asked for a better experience. The communication is amazing. I always know exactly what is happening. I get multiple reminders of appointments which is brilliant. The person who did my assessment and my prescriber are also fab.

Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful! NHS do not use these guys!!! Waste of assessment money.
I have been diagnosed by the NHS many years ago for ADHD (ADD).
After having to wait for another couple of years for medication review as Im open to making changes!
These guys didn’t attend twice to the appointment they provided me, the third time they were late online. Because I’m unable to remember my child hood small attention to detail and neither do my parents due to them being alcoholics.
They have said they can’t diagnose me.
I had to do 2 assessments!

Appalling
I had my assessment at the start of October 2025 and was told half way through that they were unable to proceed as I had not returned my forms (I had). I was told to complete them again and we would meet the following week to discuss that section; I refused as the forms alone took well over an hour to complete and I knew that I had submitted them. They called my bluff and made me feel like it was my fault. I held out and low and behold the forms appeared by the following week.
This section was not discussed with me; instead I received a text saying "You're ADHD". I had to phone the person who assessed me to ask for more information.
I was advised 6 weeks for my full report; I am now 15 weeks down the line and still have not received even a draft version. I am days away from having my second child and this would have been really useful for the midwives.
I have emailed, I have called yet all communication is ignored. Yet my friend who was assessed only last week has received a full report today. I was however referred to a prescriber but this was no use as they said I am unable to take anything whilst pregnant or breastfeeding!
Would not recommend!
My general practitioner initially…
My general practitioner initially suggested a local clinic, but eventually directed me to this one through the RTC pathway. I got my referral in July, and by November, they scheduled me for an assessment. The evaluation was a positive experience; the clinician was attentive and conducted a comprehensive review. A second, shorter follow-up concluded the assessment, during which I was informed about an ADHD combined type diagnosis and we discussed treatment options. The process seemed a bit hurried, likely due to the NHS commissioning, resulting in limited time availability. I anticipated delays with the diagnostic report, so I reached out to the clinic just five days after my appointment, asking for a brief letter for my university. To my surprise, they sent the completed report the next day, and it was exceptionally detailed. The quality of the report reassured my GP surgery, facilitating shared care. After I confirmed the report's accuracy, it went to my GP the next day. They promptly arranged an ECG, as requested by the clinic, to ensure it was safe to begin titration, and scheduled a review appointment with a GP.Everything is going smoothly, and the quick admin response regarding the letter/report exceeded my expectations, especially given some concerns I had read in reviews elsewhere.
