I would give a 0 score if it was possible. We were sent a faulty hoover which broke the first time it was used. Dyson promised a replacement would arrive 24-48hrs later and now 7 days later it hasn’t and according to DPD they have lost it. Dyson are saying it needs to be escalated to the senior team who will take another 3days to call back to look in to the issue. Appalling customer service

The Dyson Big ball animal 2 head broke within 12 months have spoken to 3 customer service people and still awaiting the part 2 weeks later. Terrible service, wish I had gone with another company hoover instead. Disgusted.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Absolute rip off. Their hoover cost at least 5 times the price of other ones, yet, they break after just over a year. Since it’s no longer under warranty (of literally one month), I have to pay even more extortionate prices for parts. Ridiculous. Customer service is appalling too. Wow, I was not expecting that. Lesson learned. Never again!

I have a Dyson d10 and it is absolutely useless! Bought on 7th September 2025. It clogs up so quickly and won’t empty fully unless I put my hand in to loosen dirt. Even then it sometimes stays clogged up! I paid £300 for something that doesn’t work properly! Spoke to customer services, who was as helpful as a chocolate teapot! The wand is really so stiff to get on and off… her answer to this was, well at least it won’t fall off! Absolutely disgusted with the product and aftercare. Do yourselves a favour and get a Shark. Been a Dyson customer for 20 years, will never buy one again!
ordered my Dyson on the 1st of December…
ordered my Dyson on the 1st of December with the promise of next-day delivery, and today is the 4th, yet my parcel is still showing “at pickup point” on the tracking. I’ve been calling customer service and using the digital assistant for the past two days, and all they tell me is to “wait 24–48 hours.” Nothing has changed at all. I’ve clearly informed them that I have a flight soon, but no one seems to care. This is extremely disappointing. For such an expensive brand, I did not expect such a cheap and unreliable delivery service.

Two faulty machines and zero customer service
Bought a new power ball upright vacuum cleaner and the brush stopped turning within a couple of weeks. I managed to get a replacement, only for that to develop exactly the same fault a few months later. Customer services were unhelpful and implied I was doing something to break them, which was untrue. They arranged for the vacuum cleaner to be collected for repair but incorrectly completed the DPD collection so DPD just tried returning the broken machine back to me the next day. When I complained, Dyson told me I’d have to have it delivered back to me so they could rearrange a new, correct, collection but did it wrong once again, creating a ‘swap’ with DPD rather than a delivery. DPD would therefore not return my broken machine without being given a swap, which I obviously didn’t have. More calls to Dyson customer service, three unfulfilled promises to call me back within 48 hrs and still no resolution. I’ve now been without a vacuum cleaner for weeks at Christmas with two disabled children, my broken vacuum is being held by DPD (who’ve already lost it once) and Dyson aren’t doing anything. I’ll never buy a Dyson again.

Don't order anything from those thefts! I have returned AirStraight and I am waiting since 11th of November for refund. It has been approved and I have confirmation email but no money. None in customer service have any answers, they just "raising to relevant tem" and promise contact but the are not contacting me. Never again!!!!

Overpriced, customer service very poor. Faulty product under warranty, but replacement part not available for weeks. They said i could buy part from another stockist. Why would I do that. James Dyson has put 2 fingers up to his customers 8

If you’re deliberating over a Dyson air wrap or another brand as I was last year then this is your cue to go with the other brand.
My Dyson air wrap has stopped working twice now. The first time they ‘cleaned’ it themselves and sent it back. It has worked for a short time and now stopped again with the same fault- it just cuts out.
After waiting a week for a collection slot. Arrangements were made for it to be collected on Monday. Dyson were delayed and did not turn up. Then yesterday they turned up with a box as big as a person to package up my small Dyson air wrap?! Which also meant they did not take it and promised to return again with a smaller box. This is an awful lot of hassle to me as a customer when I have to make different working arrangements to facilitate a collection from Dyson. Plus all this time I’m unable to use my very expensive Dyson product!
If I knew all of this before. I would have gone with the other brand.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY. Purchased a vacuum animal online. Within days the vacuum broke. Had to go on an online video call to prove it was broken. They then provide a date two weeks later to collect and repair and stated coujd be up to 24 days for return. I had only had this a matter of days. Refused and asked to return. Numerous calls and lies from customers service later finally arranging for a return on Wednesday. 4 weeks after reporting the issue. Please screen shot all correspondence they will lie to you and question everything reported. Never again. DO NOT PURCHASE.

My device exploded. It was under warranty but apparently because the first device bought which was defected is been exchanged for a newer, My warranty was invalid.
This is what I’ve been told.
I spent £400 less than 4 years ago for a hair dryer that was defected, I got a new one as they were unable to repair it and the newer one worked ok for a 1 year , then it just burned inside while I was drying my hair and it was bursting smoke! this happened at least 6 months ago. Ever since they told me 6 months ago again they weren’t able to repair because they can’t get a part ( so be carful buying Dyson as they can’t ever fix them ) I have been ignored and my email didn’t get replied to and no one cared
So the care they promise you is a lie!
If I got hurt, I don’t know how they would have dealt with this.
After telling me they weren’t able to repair it they offer me a 20% off for a new device

Don’t buy from Dyson
Bought my daughter the hair dryer last Christmas. She loves the product but it apparently comes with a 2 year warranty, it now won’t switch on I contacted Dyson repairs who collected it kept it for 5 days and sent it back.. It still didn’t work! I contacted them again after 45 mins they asked could they collect it again to be repaired . I have to take a day off work to wait in for it to be picked up! There answer was go back to were you bought it with the receipt ! Luckily I bought through very on my account so i do have the details. They need to take up to 14 days to make a decision . In the mean time no hairdryer! 🫠.. terrible service it’s a shame there products are good they just don’t last especially for the cost! I would go with Shark product instead.. their service and products are much better!
Dyson at fault and customer service is useless
Bought the AirStrait from the Dyson website. They didn’t address the parcel with my full address and the only solution the customer service team can offer is to wait for a refund (which I will receive at the earliest 14 days after they get the parcel back, which who knows when that will be). They could just contact the courier company to let them know the full address, but why? That would be actually helpful and that’s not a value this company associated with.
So now I don’t have the product and am out couple of hundred £s for the next few weeks because they’re so competent. Thanks Dyson! Definitely keep it up, fantastically terrible service.
Terrible experience
I had also ordered a Dyson Vacuum cleaner on Sunday 09/11/25 and deliveries were cancelled via ParcelForce numerous times - when I called ParcelForce they said that the labelling had insufficient details for my address and that they have had many issues like this from Dyson. I spoke to Dyson last week - they said they would sort it but Thursday's delivery never came AGAIN. So today I spoke with Dyson again as it did not get delivered today either and it will be recalled to their depot and only then will I get a credit. Absolutely horrendous experience especially as it was not cheap. It also means I will have to wait another 2 weeks before I see a credit. I am amazed how they have fallen from grace reading all the other comments on Trustpilot about either the same issue or quality of products.

Bought a very expensive Dyson V16 Piston / animal cordless , 2 months ago . Been having issues lately either it not working for more than 1 minute and then stopping saying blockage or not working at all ..Have now spoken to 4 different customer services people over the last 1 week who have all done their checks whilst on the call and still can’t get it to work . So I asked for a replacement product or refund to which they said they will pass this query to the 2nd level team . 4 calls later which lasted 1 hour and 20 mins in total still no call backs nor any refunds or solutions to date . Never going to be buying another Dyson product if this is the way they treat their clients . Maybe Mr Dyson can read some of his products reviews here and get something done to resolve his very unhappy clients and their issues .
Dyson products are fine
Dyson products are fine, they do the job, but I don’t think they’re worth the high price. The design looks nice and the vacuum is powerful, but it feels a bit overhyped. Customer service was polite but took a while to reply. I expected a smoother experience for such an expensive brand. It’s okay overall, but not as amazing as I hoped.
