Just spoken to Dyson customer service care and I’ve been a loyal Dyson customer for years, but the Dyson V16 piston Animal has been a huge disappointment. After just six months, the dust cycle is awfu... See more

Disgusting Customer Service…
My daughter an 18 year old student spent nearly £400 on a ridiculous hairdryer (despite my reservations) sent back via DPD following their returns process. We've sent them proof thst the product was received by them and it has taken a month and still no refund. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is on you James Dyson, what an absolute disgrace. Trading standards and small claims court next
I sent my Airwrap for warranty service…
I sent my Airwrap for warranty service 1.5 months ago, and I haven't received any updates or responses to my emails.
I have Dyson which stop works after 5…
I have a Dyson vacuum machine, which stops working after 5 min . The machine becomes very hot and stop.
I cleaned it well and tried again. The same stop working after 5 min .
I call customer service, they advised they can pick the machine, but cost £100 just to pick the machine then depends on the problem.
I said I rather buy new one than spend £100 just to pick the machine for investigation.
The person who answered was not in Uk and he couldn’t tell me more than just to pick the machine.
Avoid at all costs
If I could give this company minus stars I would.
My Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer started cutting out after two years. I contacted Dyson who after troubleshooting decided it needed a repair. After over an hour on the chat, with them telling me originally it was under warranty and then after I agreed telling me it was out of warranty and I’d need to pay £90 for it to be repaired the repair was eventually booked.
DPD came and collected the parcel in a box which would accommodate a hoover, with no packaging or anything. I was told by the driver that I couldn’t put it in a different box as it had to be in the one they sent.
It was collected and I have heard nothing since. No tracking was sent to me, Dyson have not contacted me.
I contacted Dyson to ask about where my repair was. In answer they don’t know. No one can tell me where my £350 hairdryer has gone since it was collected by their courier. DPD won’t help me as there’s no tracking number for it, Dyson just fob me off with they’ve escalated with DPD & their repair team and I should ‘get a reply’ in six working days. There is no apology, no remorse. I will not be using this company again.
Dyson-buyer beware
Ordered a vacuum cleaner direct from Dyson, on arrival didn’t work. I contacted their “customer services”( that’s a joke) and they diagnosed the main power pack and send a replacement, on arrival still didn’t work and on contacting the customer disservice they diagnosed the battery as being faulty
and offered to send another battery, since there are on
three parts I did offer to join their production line. They then offered a replacement which later turned out to be a lesser and cheaper model. I complained about this and was offered an upgrade which within a minute was retracted. In all I made 7 calls to the customer disservice disservice department without success. So now I’m sitting without a hoover and totally disappointed in Dyson. My advise to anyone thinking of obtaining a hoover is look elsewhere
Spent 1hr 30mins on a phone line to be…
Spent 1hr 30mins on a phone line to be told I’d have to return it because it’s broken!I was asked 4 times for my name and serial number and had to send the expert from Dyson a link that I found on google for the instructions on how to do a factory reset….. the final conversation ended with them informing me that someone could collected it and they could try to fix it (it’s a day old) just don’t listen and to busy trying to deal with more than one customer at a time terrible product and even worse at communicating!
What is going on with Dyson's Customer Service
I contacted Dyson via their online chat after receiving more hair products than I had ordered — simply trying to do the honest thing by letting them know. Instead of appreciation, I was treated as though I’d done something wrong and was asked to provide photographic evidence of the extra product. Really, Dyson? Very disappointing customer service.
Customer service phone enquiry
I phoned to enquire about a discount code to buy a hair wrap dryer and styler, their customer service person basically told me to go online. (Which is where I was having difficulty to begin with) What a waste of time. I might just buy off Amazon and introduce the middle man to get a better price. Dyson, this is poor service for someone who wanted to make a quick purchase.

Airwrap faulty after 9 Months, wouldn't supply same colour, item arrived with no attachments and we had to exchange old item with Driver.....escalated with Customer Service....now need to wait a Week for a response.....now have no use of Air Wrap as no attachments.....just awful Customer Service
Dyson’s terrible service – no product, no refund, only excuses
I bought a spare part for my Dyson machine and paid for it, but it never reached me. Instead, it was returned to Dyson before delivery. More than a month has passed, and I still have not received my refund.
The only reason I even purchased the spare part was because my Dyson machine broke down, and Dyson themselves recommended that I buy this part as a solution. Later, after repeatedly contacting customer service, Dyson admitted their mistake and agreed to send me the part free of charge. However, that shipment also never arrived and was again marked as “returned before delivery.”
When I kept insisting, I was suddenly told that the spare part I purchased was actually out of stock. If that is true, then why was I informed twice that it had been shipped and returned before reaching me? This feels like fraud.
Throughout this process, instead of taking responsibility, Dyson’s customer service only provided automated replies, redirected me elsewhere, and even suggested I should purchase the part from another retailer. That is completely unacceptable.
I did not buy the spare part out of pleasure — I had to buy it because Dyson’s own product failed. It is Dyson’s responsibility to provide a working solution, not to mislead and waste the customer’s time.
I have saved all correspondence as proof and will escalate this matter further.
This has been by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
Lost their way. Now its the customers who are suckers.
We have been customers of Dyson for years. We stopped buying replacement new ones this month at the advice of Which. Now we cant even get a service on the old vacuum without multiple mess-ups. Delivered to the wrong house, complaint dealt with involving multiple missed promises to call back, and by telling us it had been delivered nearby and we should start going door to door. 9 million people live in London. Idiots.
Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service. The worst I have ever experienced.
terrible customer service
terrible customer service both on the phone and on the computer....... they basically said that my 2 year warranty was only viable if i had bought it from Dysons themselves!!

Don’t ever buy a Dyson product
I purchased a Dyson fan through AO.com, the delivery was quick as always with AO but within a week of me receiving the fan it started making an awful squealing noise. As with all companies now to get anything fixed / replaced you are pushed to go directly to the manufacturer. I didn’t see the problem with this and booked it in with Dyson. The fan was collected by DPD, organised by Dyson and that is where the customer service ended.
Dyson called me stating that the fan they received had a different serial number on it to that I had provided even through the confirmation email I had been sent from confirming they had received my machine had the correct one on. They confirmed they had sorted this issue but it has now been 4weeks since they received it and I’ve had absolutely no communication from them on the status of the repair. I have reached out to them 4 times now for an update to be fobbed off and told that they had raised my query to the relevant department and I am to wait 24-48hrs for a response. I am still waiting for this response.
I have never experienced customer service like this and I will never be buying from Dyson again or recommending Dyson to anyone I know.
Shocking, do not buy from them
Shocking level of service! My delivery was due on Monday by midday, it is now Saturday and no notifications, I have contacted customers service three times already, on Monday they told me I will receive the order by 24-48 hours, deadline passed, on Thursday they have told me the same, nothing happened and today they have told me I will hear back in 24h, it will probably be another lie. I demanded a refund, they said they cannot give me a refund because the item gas been shipped, another lie as I checked the status and it says that the order is confirmed but not yet dispatched. The chat download function does not work, I asked for an email confirming what was said in the chat, they said they will send it to me shortly, these was hours ago, no email. There has been absolutely no communication from them since the order was confirmed over a week ago. I have no hope I will receive my delivery and I start to think it will also be hard yo get my refund. If it wasn't a big brand name, I would be sure that I'd been scammed!! Appaling...I wished I'd read the reviews before purchasing
Dyson have gone down the pan, don't buy
I contacted Dyson because the brush head on my animal ball upright was gummed up with dog hair and leaving lines on the carpet. EVENTUALLY I was sent a replacement apparently worth £65. It is a piece of junk. Lightweight, gummed up with dog hair already, I can't vacuum under tables anymore as the ratchet doesn't move as much, it is USELESS on hard floors, pushes bits around and I've resorted to a long handled broom. I just wish I'd kept the old head!! Dyson products and customer services used to be so good, now awful. I've given up and going the same way as my friends and buying a SEBO
Bought the dyson floor cleaner absolute…
Bought the dyson floor cleaner absolute rubbish has been replaced once same problem occured rang them for a refund say im out of the 3months shocking i will never buy off dyson again dont buy the dyson v10 floor cleaner!
Shocking customer service from Dyson
Shocking customer service from Dyson.
My airwrap keeps cutting out.
Called customer service to be offered a repair at £99 without any idea of how long it would take or 10% on a new machine! Also such rude agent.
Dyson used to be so much better than this!
Dyson Corrale Hair Straighteners
I bought the Dyson Corrale Hair Straightener on 13/11/2020 with 2 year warranty. These became faulty and would not hold a charge and on 17/12/2022 Dyson replaced them.
These have now become faulty and again will not hold any charge and are only 7 months out of warranty. The product started to not hold a charge from July 2025.
I contacted Dyson on 25th August 2025 and they refuse to replace the product, albeit offering me 25% off a new product. Why would I buy a new straightener when two of them have been faulty, one still under 2 years old and the second pair 2.5 years old.
I find it unacceptable that an item costing £400 only has such a short life expectancy. I have GHD straighteners at a significantly lower cost, which are still working perfectly after ten years.
Under the Sale of Goods Act, I feel that my straighteners should be replaced, as I would expect them to last more than the 2 and a half years that they have been in use. The product is not fit for purpose.
I have been a loyal customer to Dyson, buying many products over the years and find this most upsetting that I have spent such alot of money on Straighteners that are such an unsatisfactory product.
