Awful return service no follow up to numbers calls and emails

I rented a car and had good service when I picked up and when I dropped off the service was awful I’ve been trying to contact the manager at this location for over five days now and have called over 20 times I have sent three emails and no one has responded yet I should not have sent my review and at the time of pick up as my thoughts about renting from this company has drastically changed

A positive experience with Easirent booking process

I must say, I just had a very pleasant booking experience with Easirent, guided all the way through the booking process by Jay on live chat. Good sales idea as he magnetised me into the booking by offering a decent discount. Let's hope the rest of the rental experience is as good as my booking experience. Thanks Jay!

Laughably bad

Emails didn't come through with links for payment despite several phone calls. They inexplicably changed my name on the reservation to a woman's name, then accused me of doing it. Prior to pick up they sent me to an empty car park on the other side of town, then admitted the wrong information was in my confirmation email. They also denied it was on the other side of town. But I live in the town, so I know it was, and needed a taxi to get there. Had to wait for someone when I reached the correct car park to get the keys. The car they gave me was dirty.

Easirent 'resolved' my complaint after exactly 163 days and around 20 phone calls. No gesture of goodwill offered or any kind of compensation, beyond a refund for the taxi I was forced to take. They even shut down the option of me replying via their online portal, to stop any further conversation after offering their very unsatisfactory resolution. Appalling company.

Hired from London Gatwick

Hired from London Gatwick, was dubious as previous hire experience with easirent, was not that good. But after being picked up by ozzie, and being dealt with by Olivia,I can say it was all done in a courteous and professional manner. Would use Gatwick easirent again.

Please don't be fooled by low rental…

Please don't be fooled by low rental prices, I was quoted two excess prices, 1. £1500.00, 2. £350.00
Big difference, a standard rental is the £1,500.00, if you pay another £15.00 PER DAY it is reduced to £350.00.

I did not choose any, I used another rental company !!

The £1500.00 is a scare tactic, what idiot is going to accept number 1, to rent under that figure, they ask for a credit card and, " Block £1500.00 Off ", not for me. So if you pay the £15.00 per day, what happens to the cost, yes it goes up dramatically.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Booked a 2 day rental of a Luton Box Van 12 days prior to our house move. The day of collection, we discovered that the van was not available. The Company did not contact us, it was only when we called to confirm the pick up time that we discovered that there was an issue.
No apologies, no explanation, no help in finding an alternative vehicle.
We were completely let down by this Company.

Worst car hire company I have ever used

We had pre-paid to rent a car from Glasgow airport. We followed the directions (to phone when we arrived and wait at the designated area in the car park for a shuttle). We waited for over an hour - we rang back a number of times and were always told someone would call back straight away - they never did.

We eventually gave up waiting and walked about 40 minutes to the rental desk (carrying all of our luggage). When we arrived, we were told there was no car because someone was late returning the vehicle that had been allocated to our booking. The man we dealt with (who we were told was the manager at the Glasgow airport branch) was extremely rude and said there was nothing he could do, but offered no apology. He also would not refund us our money, saying that Rentalcars (the website we had booked through) would have to deal with it. We still have not been refunded.

Between waiting at the airport, walking to and from the easirent office and trying to get some sense out of the idiotic manager, we ended up spending about 3 hours trying to get a car. We ended up having to rent a car last minute from Hertz at Glasgow airport where we received a seamless service.

We travel a lot and have rented many, many cars over the past 5 years or so and have never experienced something like this. DO NOT USE.

I don't usually post reviews

I don't usually post reviews, mostly not negative ones because I know people need to work to make money to put food on their table but as an experience witht Easirent I know I should. I had my car being fixed with the mechanic so I enter online and I saw the offered and I paid. After that I called them but never got someone on the phone! They don't answer the calls! I went there by Uber and since the moment I put a step on the office they told me very rude to wait outside. Im not the kind of person that get upset so I did. When I entered I told them that I called to confirm everything for the rental process goes smoothly but nobody answer the phone, they start asking for my insurance and that it should be full insurance, I said I have (Geico) I don't remember the details but I have a good insurance, I even I paid for a extra insurance online that cover everything, they start getting rude and told me that didn't matter so I said lets us cancel since I saw they were tricky and mean but they told me I can't ,I should do it with the App (Expedia or Orbitz) They didn't care because they already got the money. I had to call Orbitz after that and waiting for an answer.
In a nutshell they don't care. They are the worse people I ever dealt with in an Car Rental Agency. Save your money and get better rent with other companies. I told them why they don't follow the guidelines of the Orbitz or Expedia if they don't they should be there. They don't even let you use your Sunpass you have to buy theirs! If you go there I hope you read this review first! At the end I left with no car I was practically kick out!

Don't be sucked in by the low prices

Don't be sucked in by the low prices. They find other ways to take your money. You're better off with a proper car rental agency.

Some highlights -

- Charging extra for going over certain milage is one thing. Communicating that policy to a customer is another. If you do get suckered in by the prices read every bit of small print. They will screw you on milage if you don't.

- On both occasions I used the "service" the car was filthy on collection. They were not ready to hand the car over to me - I was one hour late leaving on my first booking having arrived 15 minutes ahead and 45 mins on the second. this was because we insisted on collecting a clean car. The "ground team" said he could clean it "if we want". Yes. Yes we do f*ing want.

- This is after jumping through the several million hoops they ask you to jump though in advance to make your collection as "smooth as possible". Let me tell you now, it doesn't mater how many green ticks you see on your rental in advance - they will find a way to screw this up with aplomb.

- Even the outside of the car was filthy on the second rental. This coupled with the dark dingy garage it was parked in made it impossible to properly check for damage. Of course when I drove through heavy rain and the car was cleaned by the resulting precipitation - there was damage! All over one of the previously filthy alloys.

- "Report that damage" you say? Sure thing you can try. Maybe send a simple email with a picture outlining the damage? Or try calling up to speak to a customer service "agent"? You won't get through. Because they hate you that's why. The only agent you'll need with this lot is the agent orange you'll want to drop on their head office after dealing with them.

- Customer service. Aside from lax hygiene and disgusting hidden charges their customer service has to be one of the most awful things about Easirent. Four months it took for them to respond to a complaint and the response was so inadequate that four months on I'm inspired to leave a review here. They may as well have told me to f-off in actuality they said "you didn't tell us about the damage on collection so... swivel?

- In addition to this when you arrive to collect your car you'll be greeted by a yellow box that doesn't do anything. You can push the buttons all you want, you can look at he cameras - nothing will happen! You are basically one of Dr Skinner's pidgeons but without th food reward. You'll need to call up and wait for a long time. "He's on his way" They'll say. "He is stuck in traffic". You'll be LONGING for Europcar at that point. "Inject some Avis in my veins" you'll say.

- Their booking portal seems to be intentionally difficult to access. You'd think your booking confirmation might link you to it for example? Well you'd be wrong. You'll wonder if you've even booked a car for your holiday when you look through your emails. Your wife will too. You'll be convinced it's there somewhere and eventually you'll use your browser search history to find it. YOu'll eat your own fist at some stage.

I wish the whole enterprise nothing but failure. Their customer service team should be ashamed. They know exactly what they are working towards. Avoid them at all costs and if you ever met the CEO punch his groin repeatedly and then charge him for the fist damage. Its your fist after all.

Be sure to have your insurance policy…

Be sure to have your insurance policy number and expiration date otherwise you will be charged an outrageous daily amount. Toll charge is $10 a day or the toll cost plus $25 administration fee. I inspected the car with the agent and asked if the tires were good and he said yes. After driving 50 miles the low tire pressure message came on. Upon inspecting the right rear tire I found that the rubber plug they used to patch the tire was leaking air. This puts me in danger and the car should have not left the lot. I'm reporting them to the regulatory authorities.

EASIRENT A AWFUL EXPERIENCE

EASIRENT A AWFUL EXPERIENCE
EASIRENT A AWFUL EXPERIENCE
I have already visited and rented a car in more than 20 countries in the world, I had already used rhinocarhire.com in Rome, but this time I never felt so deceived.
Here in England I had already rented a car through Enterprise, a Nissan X-Trail and Sixt MiniCooper. And then when renting an old car, with more than 44 thousand miles, WITH NOISE IN THE BRAKE, WITHOUT PETROL, WITH DRY WINDSHIPS AND SMELLING THE CIGARETTE, My LAST experience started on the rhinocarhire.com website which should not have criteria to choose from its partners, and then falls into the “trap” easirent.com (EASI RENT).
They put a very attractive price, and then I should have suspected, but I was naive.
On the Rental Company website, I put all the information requested to rent two cars, one in my name and the other in my wife's name, including the credit cards I would use in the rental, which, upon acceptance of the reservation, were successfully accepted.
Arriving at the rental store, my wife's card, the one I put in was not accepted, as it was in my name. So why did you capture my card data on the website? I demand that my unused data be deleted IMMEDIATELY.
After more than ONE HOUR to rent a car, they asked me for a pre-authorization on their credit card worth 1,600 pounds, worth A LOT ABOVE THE OLD CAR THAT HAS BEEN DELIVERED, for that amount I would buy the “cart” that they delivered and even said that will hold my pre-authorization for 30 days.
I rented a ford Focus, I was handed an old Renault Captur Car, stinking of cigarettes, the clutch is too high which shows a lack of maintenance, the windshield wipers are dry, making it difficult to use in the rain and I was not delivered with a full tank.

I didn't ask for any discount, just accepted what EASIRENT.com put as an option on her website, I certainly should have suspected. LAST EXPERIENCE, imagine if I didn't have a Black Card with a limit, I would have gone to the rental store in vain. Well, not to mention that to rent the car for my wife with greater insurance because she doesn't have a card in her name they wanted to charge me more than I paid for a MINI COOPER in Sixt car, that is, a wagon at a car price. It was just having rented two cars in my name and the second put an extra driver. Anyway, bad experience, bad rental company, I do not recommend it to anyone.

Stay away from these guys!

Stay away from these guys!! Orlando is off site and when you call to get picked up phone is busy!! The company needs to let people know there is a fee for a driver up front! They need to tell you to bring your whole insurance policy so you don’t get charged and extra $35 a day! Most of all they need to clean the cars they rent out and stay with the class you rent for!

Easirent refund??

Easirent said I could upgrade my van to larger one, but when I tried to contact the local Bristol site, none of the phones were answered. So I cancelled my booking.
I then rebooked, only to be phoned on the day of collection by the local branch to be told that they did not have the van available.
6 weeks have now passed and no refund for either booking. Apparently they have no idea when refunds can be paid. I'm worried that that are as a struggling company and it may never happen. I'm no expert but I had a look at their accounts and they don't look too good.

What a bunch of scumbags these people…

What a bunch of scumbags these people are. I pre-paid and reserved an SUV 4 weeks in advance of my Florida visit. I called them 1 day prior to ensure the SUV would be there based on several poor ratings I saw after making the reservation. The Manager said he did not have an SUV and WOULD NOT have one but "could put you into a 12 passenger VAN or a Large car" neither of which was suitable nor what I reserved. The scumbags refused to return my money. I have since filed a charge-back with my credit card company. The POS manager refuses my calls. Escalated to a district manager who takes FIVE WEEKS to respond to my email with the same BS canned response. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE MUTTS.
