I was unlucky - it may work for you!

This company must be doing something right because it has a lot of good reviews. But my experience was not so happy. Three months after sending in my sample I was still waiting for the result. The lab was in difficulties and kept asking for more time. Eventually I lost patience and asked for a refund. That was refused, and I had to resort to PayPal's dispute procedure. I now have my money back.

Not happy with their Customer service

I ordered a DNA test for my dog. There was no confirmation when I submitted the payment that made me confused whether they have received it or not. I emailed them to ask whether they received my order but no one replied.
Next day I received their instruction email with an attachment of covered dog breed, I found out there was only 96 breeds in the list and dutch shepherd wasn't in there.
I replied the email immediately and asked to cancel the order however they didn't respond to me.
Today I contacted them on the website again they told me because I sent the email out of their office hour and they have sent the kit out they needed to charge me £20 for that, even when I accepted to upgrade to another service that covered 350 breeds that cost £85. They also blamed me that I should have known the list of covered breeds before ordering, although I have tried every corner of their website but couldn't find that information.

I have decided to cancel it anyway and ordered another kit directly from Wisdom Panel.

I give them 3 stars for the lack of information on their website and 2 stars for their customer service.

If this is their term and condition, it's a bad T&C.
Waste of £20.

Easydna

Easydna do provide good service for DNA results quickly and they do have affordable prices, just was not happy with reception as they have very little knowledge , need more training and I never received a call from them as every time they said someone will call me.

WORTH THE MONEY

This was a very important moment in my life. The process is not even done and I’m EXTREMELY happy with the customer service and RAPID response from this company! Instructions were clear I still fouled them and was met by a clarification email that told me EXACTLY what to do to correct the issue. Everything was handled proactively and my results will be delivered soon. I WILL be continuing to use this company!!!!

Genetic Predisposition DNA Test

I ordered a Genetic Predisposition DNA test kit online. I found the info on the website useful and comprehensive. The test kit arrived within the timescales stated. The results came back a week earlier than stated. The final report was clear and allows me to keep an eye on certain conditions and puts my mind at rest on others.

AVOID GO ELSEWHERE

I ordered a parental test and the results was unbelievable 13 marks out of 21 being that one of the markers is for male or female. When I rang the company and questioned this result the very rude woman on the phone told me that the results are right he wasn't the father but the father could be his brother, dad or uncle who I told very clearly I hadn't seen and certainly never slepted with. Few days later I was looking on there website and it stated the if 13/14 markers it was classed as inconclusive and get another test, when I told the same lady I spoke to the first time aswell she asked where I had seen it on the website and I told for her to tell me I was wrong. So when I said I screenshot the off my phone and asked if she wanted me to email to her, well as you can tell she put the phone down. I've now got to go elsewhere and buy another test which I'm worried about after using this company.

Please post my 8 minute conversation to confirm your reply, looking at the rest of your costumers reviews I'm not the only one that has said about your staff been rude.

With regards to the result of your paternity test it is correct and the fact that 13 markers out of 21 markers tested match is a clear indication that there is no biological relationship. For a paternal relationship to exist all the markers need to match. This was explained to you several times, it is clearly stated on our website and is stated in any website of any company offering paternity testing. There isn't even the possibility of a mutation issue with such a result as was also clearly explained. For the record, all testing is performed by an internationally accredited laboratory which performs thousands of these tests per month.

We have also reviewed the recording of your conversations with our team and we are satisfied with the manner in which they responded. One of calls lasted over 8 minutes and despite asking the same questions over again our agent responded politely and patiently. Towards the end of the conversation however it became clear you were trying to discredit the result and you proceeded to raise your voice at our operator and made derogatory remarks. Our team has strict instructions not to continue dealing with clients that are aggressive, abusive or rude and at that point the conversation was rightly terminated.

We therefore want to re-iterate that there is nothing wrong with the result of your paternity test and your review trying to discredit our company is simply vexatious.

Nothing "easy" about it

Should have listened to my gut about this company. Paid £89 for an allergy test. They sent out the product to my address but on their form it had no road inputted. I always ensure I fill out an address fully on these things so where they sent the product I have no idea. They have now said there is an additional £20 fee to send out another one. I have asked for a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act, 2015. If they do not comply I will be chasing up with Trading Standards and the Ombudsman. Stay well clear of this company.

They have now said due to the refund it is -£25 to the amount. I have reported the company as this is a clear breach of UK law.

The reason the kit did not arrive was because you failed to input your full address when placing the order. We have provided clear proof of this by sending you a copy of the actual order confirmation email which you received yourself when you made the order. This email is sent so that clients can confirm the order has gone through but check the information provided is correct. We are of course happy to provide this as evidence should it be required.

The dog allergy test kit is a specialised and rather costly when you add up all the elements including administration and postage. Consequently, since on order you provided missing information, our team informed you that as per our terms and conditions a charge would apply if we had to send out a new kit. Had the address been correct, and the kit did not arrive due to postal issues, then we would have replaced it free of charge.

Having said that, and irrespective of the fact that our company is not at fault here, we have decided to anyway provide a full refund which you will receive in a few days.

Whilst we take all clients complaint seriously, and of course there are situations where we make mistakes like any other business, in this case the problem was caused by the incorrect information provided by the client. We therefore believe this review and subsequent threats are inappropriate.

We do however wish your dog the best of health and we look forward to providing our range of DNA tests for dogs to an ever-growing number of customers.

Best investment for my cat!

I recently purchased the Cat Intolerance Test and it's one of the best investments I ever made for my cat! It showed a 97% intolerance to chicken meat, so we changed his diet and he's SO much healthier, it's almost unbelievable! His coat is even shinier, he has more energy and (TMI WARNING!) his stools reveal his insides are doing much, much better too. And had it not been for this test he might have been on long-term medication instead of making a simple dietary switch! The test results also arrived on time and the sample collection process and purchase process were easy peasy. Would highly recommend this test and this company!

First of all you will have to send the sample to Estonia which will cost a lot and is not mentioned on the website.
You will have to wait a very long time before receiving any results and they don’t explain anything properly. Other companies give you a list of food intolerance that is not the case for this one. Customer service won’t reply to you. IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! Check my body health is much cheaper and much better!

As for the information on our website, we provide a sample of the results so that any client ordering the test is fully aware of the type of information they are receiving before they order. We also provide the actual turnaround time for the results to be issued and we can confirm that your results were issued within those stated timeframes. Any postal delays are of course not something we can control.

Therefore, we feel that we provide all the necessary information to our clients to make an informed purchase. AVOID--value of reports?

I ordered an allergy test for my dog and DNA kit. Took samples and return, tried to contact company 3 time, company being unresponsive I have now asked for my Money back and await!!!

Part 2, after placing my review on trust pilot. I RECEIVED TWO Telephone calls. I explain the problem. Some once again, I explained the problem. I explain the telephone number, live chat, email all failed.

Its sad that the only way of corresponding with the company seem... through trust pilot. Is has lead me to question the value of said report.

It maybe the case I'm a untrusting person!!!

I have noted a feed back under my name, I have made only one feedback, edited reposted any ether is the company attempted to mislead.

parts 3 One again they give feedback. Yes, you did reply once I completed on trust pilot. Still error in email, you were supplied with a second e mail and results send by you company , both e-mail did not receive the whole report. I stand by my complaint, namely that the company P.P.P. when deal with communication and the web page communications system is crap even the phone system failed. I feel Ive said enough and thank fully I do not wish any more dealing with your company. It would seem Im not alone in my believers !!!!!

For the particular dog tests you ordered the results are downloadable by the client themselves. This means that your results were available online as soon as testing was complete and you could have collected them at any time. In addition, as you yourself confirmed when we called you, when you made the online registration you mistakenly input two email addresses in the same field which disabled the automated email notifications from the laboratory portal. As a result the system was not able to notify you the results were ready to be downloaded.

For your reference, below please find the information we provided on two separate occasions via email. This was sent to you when we confirmed your purchase and when we confirmed the receipt of your samples. Below clearly states that the results would be made available online:

"Registration Instructions:

Once you have received your sample collection kit kindly proceed by clicking here to register your dog on the client portal using your personal case reference number as your Login Information: , once you have filled in all the fields, please check that the information you are about to submit is correct.

After registration, you can log in at any time using your personal case reference number to see the status of your case.

In 2 - 3 weeks after your samples have reached the lab for testing, you will be able to send yourself your results by email or download the results directly for your client portal."

So I believe that from our end we followed all the standard protocols we normally use with the thousands of clients that have ordered the same tests and were satisfied with the overall service.

With regards to your attempts to communicate with us, we are sorry that we do not seem to have responded. At the moment we are seeing a big surge in demand for our tests which are becoming very popular and we are investing further to be able to meet this demand better.

We did however immediately contact you after you left your review to assist you with obtaining your results. We then followed up to make sure you had them and all was ok. This is part of our customer service experience and although we may fail on some occasions we will still try and make sure the client is serviced.

In conclusion, we are sorry that your experience with our company was not a positive one. However, considering that the results were actually available online to collect at any time and we made this clear in our communications, we do not believe that our company warrants such a negative review.
