They are simply thieves

I stopped in one of their parkings because I had no choice, sent the two sms's and waited for an invoice or any indication on how to pay. After 2 days of trying to figure it out/waiting for an invoice to arrive, I forgot about it ... Turns out, if you want to pay them you are forced to register in their system and give away all your info. Otherwise, be prepared to receive an additional fee of 1000 SEK for an initial 40 SEK parking fee through Kronofgden. How is that legal ?

Uselt företag.. undvik

Uselt, dåligt och en känsla av att den vill lura konsumenterna.. Fick aldrig någon faktura på min parkeringstid, bara en påminnelse med inkassokrav!
Dålig och bristande info på både skyltar och app.. Kommer aldrig att använda igen!

If you can avoid Easy park in Sweden you will be spared money, misinformation and a lot of headache from this company..
I have used it twice to park for a few hours and both times it was a horrible experience. No information on how you pay. One time it was dirrectly via mobile and the other time via invoice..that never came. I never got any invoice to pay, just a reminder with a huge fee! The app is not consumer friendly at all. It hides a lot of information as standard settings.. (what?) will never use this parking company again!

Scam company that forces you to…

Scam company that forces you to download their bloatware app to change invoice method. Charges 25kr for paper invoice and 5kr service charge "too innovate" how to scam you out of more money.

I parked at the dentist one week and had to create an account with Parkster. Parked at same dentist a week later and now EasyPark are charging 30kr for a 5kr parking visit. These companies are a nightmare and need to be stopped like payday loan companies.

I don't usually take my time to write…

I don't usually take my time to write reviews even when disappointed by a service. But this was on another level that I felt I needed to write something.

We used their application map to precisely pinpoint our car location. We still get a fine of 900SEK. From now on, when I see EasyPark I will be parking elsewhere. It's a scam that I will be actively trying to avoid in the future.

Disgusting behaviour and I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Poor service, bad app design, expensive

The app is poorly designed and the customer service unwilling to help when contacted. Additionally their service charge is an extra 15% for every single transaction on top of the parking fee.

EasyPark is horrible

I parked in a parking area with two zones close to each other. So actually not being totally sure which one to choose.. I sat in the car and chose the one EasyPark told me in the map.

I receive two fines of 900x2.

Contacted EasyPark to resolve the problem. They blamed it on me, saying that I should’ve checked the map again to make sure. Why do they Even have a map function when it doesn’t work and it actually hurts you to trust it. Customer service also had a belittling tone which now has lead me to become a spokes person on behalf of not using EasyPark.

I will never use EasyPark again, I will also always recommend friends, colleagues, family, strangers to never do the same.

Nice touch also to have receipt cost of 3,- via email. Real nice business model and actually impressive how annoyed and angry I am while writing this, thanks EasyPark :)

refuses to refund

I used to like EasyPark but since a good while back I've been feeling allot of anxiety all around using EasyPark.
I never know if the app is going to fail to load or even accept my settings in before a parking, or fail to display the correct information to me as time remaining.
At the same time even if I get a fine (no matter the reason), there is no refund policy, why should the c*cksuckers get my money WHILE I GET A FINE?

Taking responsibility

Just to be fair, i just had another coversation and easypark made an attempt to solve the issue. Therefore my updated rating.

The app and service provided by easypark is requiring when you park your car to "confirm this position".
I parked and did what they asked and confirmed the position and my car and paid.
There were 2 markers overlapping each other and of course you take the one which is poitning closet to your car and is on the top.
( if the parking was supported by machines then i would have paid correctly and avoid the fines)
But now it shows it was the wrong position and i got a ticket.
The app should actually ask to confirm the area code to avoid this.
I have send a ticket to easypark. They claim they nothing to do with this and even i called and explained but i was told i need to talk to the specific customer service person, and promised that the person would call me up. Now I have an answer from another person and they just let you run around.
Its shameful when business instead of fixing the problems trying to blame the users/customers. This is not the way to build a honest and sustainable business.

But there are also cases where we have correct information in the map where you have not always secured your position and then the app can unfortunately suggest another area if there are more areas near each other, therefore it is always important that you secure the details as your parking starts. It used to be an ok parking service

It used to be an ok parking service, with paid services on top witch i was totaly fine with but with the ”serviceavgift” for nothing ill Will activley look for an alternative.

I dont understand what that answer could give me or anyone else anymore info, its clear that easypark charge you with 15% of the parking fee or that you get a paid monthly subscription, for what ?
The ability to park a car...
This "ontop" of the parking fee is just stupid then its better to "hide" them inside the parking fee itself this only pisses people off.

HI,
This ***sses who own EasyPark even give you a fine even though the parking zone is free of charge. I got debited for parking periods even though I started the APP and dialed forward the free parking time and still they debit for some fictitious charge. This the worst parking company on this planet.

Very bad experience with EasyPark

Very bad experience with EasyPark. I stopped at a parking lot in Stockholm and paid as usual with the app. When I returned 2.5 hours later I had a parking fine. Apparently I had not logged in in the right area but in another area a few meters away. It is absolutely impossible to trust the app so much better to pay with the parking meter as before. I have contacted easy park several times but get no feedback. Just that the function with GPS is just a suggestion, you have to go to the parking meter yourself and check so it is the right area code you are on. Useless.

4 days later I received a requested screenshot from EasyPark where I can see the location of the car icon. I was standing in front of my car when I started Easy Park, and in this case it was about a few decimetres outside the area. That they do not show good will in this matter only shows their inadequate customer care.

Hi and thank you for the feedback! When you use the map in app it is important to make sure that you place the car marker exactly where you parked the car. In some areas there might be multiple parking areas close by and in those cases you have to be extra careful, since the GPS in the phone can place the marker close by and not exactly where you actually parked. If a customer contacts us regarding a fine due to the map we always check if the mapping is correct and try to help. I'm sorry to hear that you find the app useless, but I hope you give us another chance in the future.

Their app doesn’t work unless you chose the standard option, which comes with fee. If you want to use the local it will not work. That’s another way for them to make money.
Big mistake when SMS park joined easy park or even bought from easy park.

We have the local package for Solna and Malmö. If you park within these cities in their parking areas, you can choose to activate Local to avoid the transaction fee there. If you park in another place where this agreement does not apply, we inform in the app that you need to change to Standard for regular transaction fee.

The app always shows if parking is ongoing or not. It is important to ensure parking is up and running before getting out from the app.

I used this app while parking in Skogås…

I used this app while parking in Skogås Badminton center and received a fine even though I have started the app. The app has a serious bug and the ***ots are keep fining cars for even though the you have started the parking meter in the app. You have 3 hours free parking here nut these asses are fining you even though the app has serious bug

They refuse to honor their mistake

I recently went to Denmark. I changed the flag from Sweden to Denmark. I chose the spot to park and it confirmed that I was in Denmark. I came back to a hefty parking ticket. The parking attendent confirmed that the app was not functioning properly yet EasyPark refuses to reimburse me. I will never use their app again and I will tell everyone that I know not to use their app.
