Stopped working but still billed me.

Kept billing me but service didn't work. I filed a ticket.
Got an email that the ticket was received but no action after 1 month. When I tried to keep the number (port it out), it failed but there is no way to get support on why or get them to release the number. I have lost so much business due to going with easyringer.

You will see that they said I 'ran out of credit' and that is why they stopped providing service. Not sure how that could be true when they continued to successfully bill my credit card monthly.

For that reason, the porting was delayed. Today, we saw that you paid the outstanding invoice and approved and completed the port on our side and sent you a notification on the support ticket.

Regarding your number not working, I checked and saw that you ran out of credit - this is visible in the "Subscription" section of the dashboard.

We have sent 7 service requests…

We have sent 7 service requests regarding the inability to send text messages. This happened suddenly. They have failed to respond to any of the support requests. I now realize there is something going on with this company and seriously doubt their validity. They continue to take the payments but fail to provide the services they promise. Beware of this company. They used to be very prompt with their responses but something is definitely wrong.

Some error message about trying to force you to buy a subscription with a campaign service. DONT DO IT!

Fraudulent company, purchased numbers are all unusable the next day

The customer support and customer service response speed of this company is a piece of st, even if they see the message you sent them, they will not reply, I bought about 20 virtual numbers, after setting up the forwarding, after two days, all the numbers could not be picked up. I don’t know why these virtual numbers are completely invalid. I consulted the customer service staff, but I didn’t get a reply. Don’t choose them. The virtual numbers you bought will be suspended for no reason! Remember!

It is a scam company. It seems to work when you call at first, but after 1 day it stops serving. You are left in the open with the amount you paid. Do not trust this site and do not use your credit card!

I signed up for an easyringer account a week ago. I was using my number, topping up credits and everything was going well.

Heres the thing, I signed up using a card which I only ever used for easyringer, it has never been entered anywhere else. Today there was a huge fraudulent transaction on my card with a buy now pay later company. They used my card info to purchase a virtual debit card. Identity theft and fraud.

I opened up a ticket informing them of the situation. No response, a few hours later my number was deactivated. You will get whats coming for you :)

UPDATE: they are still not responding. my account was closed. today google gave me a red popup security alert of their gmail saying, "Similar messages were used to steal people's personal information. Avoid clicking links, downloading attachments, or replying with personal information."

This is a subscriber who violated our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use policy with unethical behavior on his phone number. His number was therefore shut down after the investigation. Regarding identity theft and fraud, this makes no sense - any unauthorized transaction can easily be defended by your bank.

Great for Virtual Numbers... Flawless Service!

I have been using Easyringer for well over three years and have found them to be professional and helpful. Basically, I have a California virtual number which directs to my English mobile phone to enable me to talk to my loved one in The States. The service from Easyringer has been flawless. Kevin on the Helpdesk is very quick to respond to queries, and all in all, Easyringer delivers what it promises. Scam Artists…

They claim to have a "money-back guarantee," but reading the terms and conditions reveals that they can only refund purchases of $15 or more. This sounds great until you realize the only plans available are $10 and $14.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience! Our money back guarantee will refund you 100% within 7 days upon request. The only time we can't honor this is if your number was used to verify an online service (because the number is now linked with the service). You get the guarantee regardless of the price of the number.

This is the clause that you are referring to: "EasyRinger can only refund plans and numbers, priced above $15, in the event of a technical error (other than online or bank verification) that cannot be solved."

You missed two important point: 1) This refers to expensive numbers, not the $10 or $14 plans. 2) The clause "in the event of a technical error that cannot be solved." This means that if there's a problem with the number that cannot be solve, you'll be refunded.

This text is out-of-date as well because we've never denied a refund subscriber request for our more expensive numbers.

If you had a number for $10 or $14, you would certainly be entitled to a refund unless the number was used to verify an online service.

They mentioned that there is 7 day money back guarantee but when I realized it is not for me and requested the money back (with in an hour of sign up) they denied it saying some non sense about financial verification. they are just ripping people off.

Tricky company

Nobody tells you that you must have an address in the country where you need a phone number. As I cannot proof my residence (I will relocate, not yet there), they will not provide me the number.,I paid for nothing. They don’t inform you of that before signing and nobody answers the messages. There was a 14 days guarantee… :))

CREDIT CARD FRAUD / Ethics - BEWARE

Not sure where this company is based but they continuously mess up your stored credit card numbers which makes me think someone in the company is trying to commit fraud. Their service is reliable about 75% of the time but due to terrible development and a horrible customer service UI - you have to send in "Support" emails thru a contact form that you have to make pop-up by scrolling over the lower right part of the screen. No Contact us information on the website. They store old credit card numbers and try to use them - I guess they think an expired card is still good so someone in the company tries to use it. Then they suspend your account but even after THREE BRAND NEW CARDS - still getting declined messages but they arent coming from my bank - my bank said someone is attempting to capture the numbers which they can only do if they stop the transaction resulting in a false decline. This company is highly suspect - been using them for a few months but every month there's a problem. And watch how they bill you - a penny here = 3 cents there - 4 cents another time - never consistent - I am trying to get accountability now with Kevin - support but he is of little help in resolving this issue. The last 4 email have no reply. There isn't a way to find out who this company is or if they are registered with the BBB. Kevn stated in an email that they are a Georgia LLC (US State). I'm filing a request for the Attorney General to investigate. Credit card theft and abuse of private data is dangerous to consumers.

Decent service

Decent service, you can use it to verify your online accounts, or to direct its virtual numbers to your phone numbers (several phone numbers).

I haven't experienced any probems so far, but the interface is not well developed.
