eBay and Evri on a scheme together in the UK

The scheme eBay uses now with Evri in the UK is criminal. They requested the use of this currier that after shows false deliveries in a photo and eBay passes the responsibility to the buyer to resolve the issue. I open a case and they don’t refund you on a basis that the parcel was delivered. I received a photo of an envelope in a letter box of a house that is not mine and the size not corresponding with the order. A scam organised by eBay and Evri where the buyer looses the money and the item.

what the hell is wrong with ebay

what the hell is wrong with ebay they used to be good but now it seems they are run by a bunch of idiots and they are driving me insane i am a seller and can only sell my items through royal mail collection because i am unable to go to the post office and collection works well for me and everything has been great but lately ebay has started sending labels for bought items through yodel which does not do collections so i would have to go to one of there pick up points which i cannot do i have already contacted ebay on several occasions and told them I DO NOT DO YODEL ONLY ROYAL MAIL COLLECTIONS but it has not got into there thick heads and they still keep doing it even though it clearly states on the yodel ticket that preffered courier is royal mail this means i am losing money and customer are losing there items because i cannot send them which brings me to the conclusion that all ebay service people are stupid or just don`t give a dam

Ebays use of delivery tracking is…

Ebays use of delivery tracking is ridiculous. Having been sent photographic evidence of delivery by a seller which clearly shows parcel dumped outside and not delivered to my door they still closed the case for a refund going with the tracking information from the rubbish delivery service EVERI . Instead of going with the photographic evidence. Absolute rubbish

What has happened to EBay - shocking Customer Service

What has happened to EBay? No customer service. Cannot speak to anyone - if you phone, a recording says out of their hours and hangs up.

I have recently been scammed (in my view) by a seller. ive spent quite a bit, cannot return the item as it had leaked everywhere. the box was not crushed. the seller had wrapped sellotape around the nozzle so must have known it was leaking. i ordered an original bottle. what I got was a plastic refill bottle and not even the actual item I wanted.

The seller flippantly said I hadn't replied to an email (true I didnt see it) and seller chose to send something else which I would never choose as I don't like the fragrance. only gave me a day I think. I would rather had my money back! Think this seller knows EBay are not following up.

What is their guaranteed buying policy?

You do not get any reply if you fill in a report so I am out of pocket.

I don't have the item I wanted.

I cannot return as its leaked so badly.

Im reluctant to use EBay again, buyer beware.

BANNED ME PERMENANTLY for listing my old phone

Ebay BANNED ME PERMENANTLY for simply... opening an account to sell my old phone, for £300, not even a chance to appeal.

I called them and they said they can't tell me why and that I can't appeal. This company is such a joke 😂

Well I guess you lost a customer/seller, and I hope people will stop using your platform. There are better ways of making secure payments than, perhaps something such as vinted? Rather than banning forever a legitimate seller on some assumptions, and no appeal, clowns. Fortunately I sold on facebook marketplace.

Fake Enamel Signs by 410Dave

Fake Enamel Signs by 410Dave. Top Rated Crook.
Do you collect genuine vintage signs whether they're enamel or porcelain? Did you know you can buy many signs on eBay some of which are fake? Have you paid a lot of money for a sign you thought was antique/old only to find out its a fake? Are you unsure if it's real or fake? Let me introduce you to UK eBay seller 410dave who sells many fake enamel signs but passes them off as genuine/vintage/of the advertised era.

I've been following this fraudster since I received one of his fake signs. I am the not so proud owner of a fake Coca Cola sign. 410Dave likes to pretend his signs are vintage/used as if they've had a life attached to a wall for many decades before he came along and rescued them/it. I've never known anybody to have so much luck finding so many signs in such great condition.

The amazing thing about these signs is that despite being made by different manufacturers at different times for different companies they share so many similarities:

1, The colors are all still vibrant. The reds and blues show no signs of fading. Miracle paint?
2, The wear pattern is caused by sanding not the elements.
3, Spelling mistakes.
4, The reverse of the signs bear the same strange marks as if they've been cut from the same piece of donor metal. Look for the 2 parallel lines and the same aging marks.
5, The main body of the sign is devoid of wear?
6, That one person could find so many signs of the same type in the same condition!?!
7, Currently he is selling an American Coke sign and an RAC sign that both have the same marks back and front. How could that be?!

In short if you have bought one of these signs believing it to be old you have been conned. They're new, made in large batches and sold at motor fairs and yard sales around the UK. I've even seen them on my travels thru France although they're not sold as genuine and are a fraction of the cost.

To sum up 410Dave has his name, address and contact details on eBay. Just scroll down to the bottom of the listing. Contact him for a refund. He currently has many for sale and sold. If you have bought one you have been ripped off.

Here are some of the numbers for the fake signs for sale which can be researched. Note the similar marks! Fake BP Racing Sign = 397281040197 and Fake Coke sign = 376495654671, both now sold to new victims. There are more and they're all described as vintage. Just cut and paste the number into the search box on ebay and check current and sold. Many more fake signs in the sold section.

410Dave does like his illegal pictures and your cash.

Seller strung me along

Seller strung me along, no product received and no money refunded. EBay so called buyer protection did not step in as it had been 30 days since the order was paid for. £240 for a purchase from a business, item never delivered and no way to get your money back? Don’t be sucked in by all the fancy eBay lines on how they’ll sort any problems for you, they don’t. AI chat bots is all you get. I wouldn’t use eBay again, it sounds great until something goes wrong then everything they promise suddenly has a caveat. Where else would not be refunded when a dodgy business didn’t have the item you paid for?

Selling at eBay - think twice!

Recent selling experience with eBay has been a disaster! Customer services do not understand the issues being raised, urgency of matter, exceptional circumstances ie seller out of the country and unable to facilitate return. EBay blocked my message to buyer feature, and kept asking me to contact buyer when I can’t. Numerous mails and request for them to contact buyer, get update, resolve matters fell on deaf ears. I am still waiting for a response to complaint made / escalation of matters.i would not even give one star to eBay, to be honest, for this experience.

eBay's tracking that isn't tracking

eBay's tracking that isn't tracking! eBay's courier lost my purchase, their tracking didn't contain any geographical locations just "arrived facility, departed facility...". No one has any idea where on the planet my item is? I asked eBay to take this up with the courier and demand better, eBay's response complete disinterest. eBay - the company that happily accepts the worst service and thinks you should too!

Their customer service is the lowest…

Their customer service is the lowest experience I have ever had with EBay . I never want to shop on their app or website again. Simple issue with an item that had postage was collected instead , however eBay tells me to contact the seller myself rather than them make contact . Why should I have to do their job ???? They are with holding funds for the item which they know has been sold and is now in possession of its new owner but refuse to contact the seller to pay out . I have explained everything plain and simple , but their rude and inept customer service lacks any common sense or ability to see an issue and resolve a problem !! EBay , I’m never shopping with you again 👎

EBay braking policy rules !!! WARNING !!

eBay is cheating and isn’t following its own policies. I received a refund request (a false claim). eBay didn’t wait 30 days – not even a few days. On the specified date, I sent two reports to the eBay Help page about a ‘buyer ’ who had made a false claim and was intimidating me via text message, threatening to leave me a negative review and asking rudely how I would like that. eBay never got back to me. The following days were the same. I submitted further reports until eBay wrote that the buyer could return the parcel and receive a full refund. I was shocked. No claim was made and no claim process took place! Nothing, zilch! No one checked anything against the sales description or the photos. They simply awarded the false claim to the buyer. Furthermore, my daily requests to punish the buyer for the intimidation didn’t help. She left me a negative feedback and eBay granted it. And they wouldn’t let me change it. So I looked into their policy on false claims without any investigation. I lodged a complaint against eBay. No protection for sellers

Tried to cancel an item literally minutes after realising that it was in my basket along with the item I wanted.Seller refused to cancel, she also refused a return request.
Probably won’t make a difference to eBay but they’ve lost a customer, and a negative advertiser.

EBAY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS !!!

eBay are nothing more than thieves. I bought a pair of Nike trainers off eBay and 4 months later decided to sell them back on eBay in unworn condition , They quickly sold, and was shipped to the authenticator only to find out that the trainers I had bought off eBay, hadn't gone through authenticity guarantee when I bought them..and when I sold them back on eBay, I then found out that they were fake. I notified Gavin in the authenticity department at EBay He said there is a million listings on eBay every day and some things slip through the net. He then suspended my account and all my funds are now held for 160 days. I've now got a fake pair of £400 shoes and £278 held for 160 days, no offer of refund for the shoes, Bunch of thieves. I HOPE BLACKROCK- VANGUARD- STATE STREET LISTENING!!!!
