My experience with ECH Rental has been extremely disappointing.
I rented a car in May. When I returned the vehicle, I was suddenly told that I had to pay a young driver fee of €120. I was never informed about this charge beforehand, so it came as a complete surprise.
On top of that, I am still waiting for the return of my €300 deposit, and it has been months since I rented the car. This is simply unacceptable. I have sent countless emails trying to get an update, but none of them have been answered.
Whenever I call, I am told to send an email instead. The call is then ended, and when I try to call back, nobody picks up anymore. The level of customer service and communication is shocking.
I want someone to finally take action and resolve this issue. If I continue to be ignored and my deposit is not returned, I will have to consider taking further legal action to recover my money.

La mia esperienza con ECH Rental è stata estremamente deludente.
Ho noleggiato un'auto a maggio. Quando ho restituito il veicolo, mi è stato improvvisamente detto che dovevo pagare una tariffa per giovane conducente di 120 €. Non ero stata informata di questo costo in anticipo, quindi è stata una spiacevole sorpresa.
Inoltre, sto ancora aspettando la restituzione della mia cauzione di 300 €. Sono passati mesi dal noleggio e non ho ancora ricevuto il mio denaro. È una situazione assolutamente inaccettabile.
Nel frattempo ho inviato non so quante email, ma non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta. Quando provo a chiamare, mi viene detto di inviare un'email e poi la telefonata viene chiusa. Se provo a richiamare, spesso non risponde più nessuno.
Il servizio clienti e la comunicazione sono pessimi. Voglio che qualcuno si occupi finalmente di questa situazione e risolva il problema. Se continuerò a essere ignorata e la mia cauzione non verrà restituita, sarò costretta a valutare ulteriori azioni legali per recuperare il mio denaro.

Rida the guy who lead us to receive car was awesome. He did fantastic job. I would rent a car again without hesitation. I am so happy to rent from ECH.

The following is the third email that I sent to ECH car rentals, I have not received the courtesy of a response from ECH to any of my emails. This shows a complete lack of respect for the customer once they have your money.

I booked a car from your company through Doyouitaly for a family holiday with my son in law being nominated as the driver. When we arrived at your office in Pisa airport on the 1st of June we discovered that the booking agreement I made with Doyouitaly was not acceptable to you and therefore we had to pay €480 more than what they quoted us.
Having discovered that through no fault of ours a wheel cover was missing from the car I wrote to your reservations email address about this on the 11th of June with a follow up email to your address on the 12th. There was no response from your company to either of my emails.
Since the cover became detached or taken from the wheel not by any accident but due to it not being properly secured to the wheel in the first instance, why was this not taken into account before deducting €126•60 from the €200 deposit? REFERENCE 48387870CSJ8T17818SP.

Where alloy wheels are not fitted it should be the responsibility of the company to ensure that wheel covers are either securely fitted or removed altogether so that they cannot fall off. Ridiculously exorbitant penalties should not be imposed in the event of such losses or minor scratches on those parts, some of which were already on the covers before we got the car.

I would appreciate a response from you on the matter and if you could also extend to me the same courtesy, helpfulness and professionalism that we got from your lady representative at the airport office despite the original contract with Doyouitaly not being honoured.
