Plz Avoid using them - not reliable
Avoid using them. My booking got cancelled few hours before my arrival and ‘economy bookings’ wont do anything. Reason provided - vehicle not available anymore. No attempt to provide an alternative. I had to spend more than double at the airport last minute to get a car as was travelling with family.

A booking being cancelled a few hours before arrival because the vehicle was no longer available is a rough position to put a family in — especially when you then had to pay more than double at the airport to keep the trip moving. When the supplier can’t supply the booked car category, that should be handled clearly and as early as possible; without an alternative, you’re left carrying the cost and the stress.

A surname that won’t take the hyphen, plus a USD charge on a New Zealand booking, is the sort of small snag that makes checkout feel clunky. Some name fields only accept plain letters, so the hyphen may need to be left out if the form won’t take it. On the payment side, the booking currency is shown before you pay; if your bank converted it to USD, any exchange-rate difference or foreign fee usually comes from the card issuer, not the booking.

Abusive and Insensible Company. Avoid at all costs
I rented and pre paid 7 days. Before rent started, I asked at the rental company desk to reduce to 3 days. I was told it was ok and I would receive a reimbursement; however when car was returned, I received nothing. Exonomybookings only replied the first time (clearly with an automated email) that they would not reimburse and when I asked to talk to a manager, did not reply anymore. This is an abusive, insensible attitude. 60% pf my money taken for something I did not use. This is not a serious company.
