I'm actually astonished!

I'm actually astonished how great the support is! I'm a developer and few times I needed help from Ecwid support team to add my custom JS and CSS files to my application. I only needed wait about 1 or 2 hours tops for things to be added, that's really fast! When we needed some answers from them on chat the response is usually instantaneous! Great company with great API documentation and superb support!

Nonsense,I had to close down both my stores because I’ve been hacked two times on both the accounts which lead to clients being scammed and people’s private information were taken without their consent…caused a lot of damage to my brand 🚮 no protection whatsoever,I do not recommend Ecwid at all

I am very pleased!

I started using this platform in October 2023 and I'm very pleased. It was easy to set up with the step by step prompts to get my e-commerce store up and running. The built in response tools for orders, payments and overall customer service are excellent and I wound recommend this platform to anyone who would like to start an online business!

Ecwid is not just a shopping cart but a full system including website backed up by a helpful team. We had a specific courier company we wanted to use and Ecwid met my needs with an integrated Api. The team worked to solve the problem. The shopping cart is modern and user friendly along with the website builder. Ecwid provide regular video updates and newsletters so you know what is going on behind the scenes and what to expect with cart updates.

Defect preventing my products from showing on google

I have a website where I sell products and the platform it provided by ECWID. Sadly for the past 12 months I have been battling with ECWID support team because their platform has a long standing defect that prevents my products from being indexed on google search console. This is costing my business huge amounts of lost revenue and all I get from them is we're working on fixing the issue but they cannot provide any timescales. This has been going on now for 12 months and they offer me no compensation, and still had the cheek to put the subscription costs up.

If you're thinking of building a web site to sell products I'd stay clear of ECWID,

My sincere apologies that it takes long time to resolve this. The thing is that the issue you reported consists of several others — they are also about page index. Therefore, it turned out to be a more complex issue and to fix it, we need to resolve each aspect one-by-one which our team is doing now. As for the compensation, we've already prolonged your subscription for 4 months free of charge back in June, so I'm afraid we cannot add more, sorry! In the meantime, I do understand that this issue is interfering with your SEO processes, yet, I should mention that it doesn't affect the actual store page which means that customers should still be able to reach your store and place online orders. It doesn't work & Ecwid could not & did not fix it

Initially, the software is easy to use and navigate, and like everyone new to the ecommerce game, it took a lot of time and effort to build the site. Once built, my first step was to get exposure on Google. Google could not index my pages, and created replacements for many of them, which could also not be searched OR indexed.
Ecwid could not resolve the problem, after MONTHS of "trying". I was give answers like "be assured our team is working hard to resolve this issue.", and we have made a change to this or that. Now try to re-index your site. It can take up to a week. ??? !!! ??? After 10 months of going through the mess of "tier 2" support working on this issue, and arguing about paying for a site that does not work, I simply had to scrap the site, and with much difficulty, insist that they completely close and delete the site. (They wanted it to remain as a free site). But that would tie up my domain name, which led to more issues. In my opinion, this company lacked the ability to diagnose and correct what ,to my mind, is a vey basic function of those wanting to utilize their product to it's fullest. If you can't use he product on Google, it's kind of useless. And although they readily admit that they could not resolve the problem, they refused to refund me for the time THEY could not make it work. For a company as large as they claim to be, you would think that they had some type of ability to interface with Google and Instagram etc., to resolve these matters. But, I guess as long as enough people are willing to blindly give their money for basic use of a product, they have no need for me or my money.

This is the e-com platform you want!

I moved my e-commerce platform from the cumbersome and outdated woocommerce\ WordPress combo to Ecwid\ NexLvL CRM combo & I've never looked back!

I looked at all the major e-commerce platforms on the market and Ecwid is by far the best featured for the price and it has the most incredible support team & help documentation on the market!

Forget all the other e-commerce platforms this is the one you want!

Approximately three months ago

Approximately three months ago, I began utilizing Ecwid. I found the platform to be user-friendly and straightforward to navigate, despite my limited computer literacy. The ability to establish an online store where customers can make purchases and have the funds directly deposited into my bank account represents a significant personal accomplishment. I highly recommend Ecwid to anyone new to e-commerce. I rate it five stars.

Good Luck!!

Developer here, established, some large Ecommerce clients... I wanted to look at this product, I've historically been a fan of Lightspeed so this was extremely interesting to me, I am actively looking for headless options...

They would even give me a trial. How are you meant to assess something without a trial? I wanted to try 2 features based on the membership system, which is in one of the higher packages. And they said, "We don't have free trials, I am sorry about that.".

It's a shame, as the software genuinely looks good, just shocked their customer service doesn't match that of Lightspeed

Ecwid is great.

Ecwid is great.
I was helped immediately when asked for assistance and they even gave me 1 free month membership after I paid for a year service.

Unlike other companies Ecwid seems to really care about their clients and I feel more accepted than tolerated, also they do not push this radical far left wing agenda on their social media which other providers do.

They are professional, friendly and a great alternative to Shopify

Upd. No other services like Google, Notion or anyone else banned the whole account - only Ecwid.

As a business we never found Ecwid an…

As a business we never found Ecwid an effective route to market: our sales dropped off immediately and drastically following the move to Ecwid.

However, the final straw came when Ecwid made unauthorised, and apparently untested, changes to our site rendering Paypal inoperable.
