Incomplete shipment, conflicting support responses, no refund or replacement

I ordered camera equipment from Edelkrone, order DS244153, and the shipment arrived incomplete.

I reported the missing items immediately and clearly explained that the package had been delivered, but did not contain all of the equipment I paid for. This was never a dispute about whether a package arrived. The issue was that the package was missing multiple items.

Edelkrone support initially told me the remaining parts were delayed separately at the France transit hub. Based on that response, I waited.

Weeks later, Edelkrone changed the explanation and said FedEx showed the shipment was delivered in full. I repeatedly explained that I was not disputing delivery of the package, I was disputing that the package contained all of the items ordered.

After pressing them on the earlier France transit hub statement, Edelkrone eventually said that update may have referred to a different order. That confusion was not caused by me. My inquiry was about the missing items from order DS244153, and Edelkrone gave me that response in the same support exchange.

The missing items were:

* FlexTILT MAX
* Vision Module for HeadPLUS
* Focus/Zoom Module v3
* Laser Module for HeadPLUS

Edelkrone has now confirmed that they will not ship the missing items or refund them, and told me to continue pursuing the matter with FedEx.

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have had with a camera equipment company. I paid Edelkrone, not FedEx. I reported the missing items immediately. Edelkrone gave me conflicting information, acknowledged that their earlier communication may have caused confusion, and still refused to correct the issue.

I have now disputed the charge through my payment provider.

Potential customers should know that, in my experience, Edelkrone was unwilling to take responsibility for an incomplete shipment, even after their own support team gave confusing and conflicting information about the missing items.

Flextilt Pro and Prime; Happy customer:)

I purchased the Flextilt Pro and Flextilt Prime for use with my macro photography. I am impressed with both. With macro photography (of mosses and other things small), you are always challenged with getting the camera angle just right. These units help with that tremendously. I use in combination with my Benro macro tripod and ball head and a Neewer slider. This combination gives me max versatility for getting the camera positioned just right, both in the field and in the studio. Great for focus stacking with the slider.
The Pro version is definitely the sturdiest and capable of carrying the weight of the camera, heavy lens, and flash gear. The Prime version is lighter weight but still very sturdy. I use them sometimes in combination.
So nice to have sturdy reliable equipment like this!

I like that it was sturdy and well made, but I didn't realize how heavy it was going to be. I can't take it with my camera bag now because of the weight. Oh well.....

Great products for aspiring filmmakers

Edelkrone makes great products for aspiring filmmakers. I have been using their products for years. Their support team is typically quite helpful. As someone who has purchased nearly all of their equipment I finally purchased their backpack which is quite expensive for what it is. Their website images show their sliders fitting neatly into the bag however upon receiving I was surprised to find latest SliderPLUS v6 does not fit into their backpack. No word back from support. Overall this is a great company though I have been encountering more issues as of late.

The BackPACK was originally designed for earlier-generation SliderPLUS systems, which had a different form factor and did not include integrated motor units. As the product line has evolved, some of the newer configurations have become larger and are no longer fully compatible with the original design of the BackPACK.

This company is a complete scam.

1. Don’t believe the sponsored reviews on YouTube.

2. Although the equipment looks decent on the surface, the internal components are very low-end and poor quality. The app is just unbearable, connection between the different parts keeps cutting out, the motors are weak, the camera jitters, the tracking point and focus are unstable. After a week of testing, you’ll want to throw the whole thing out of the window.
Another thing: there is no user manual or instructions. Nothing. And they recognize : it never existed ! You’ll waste hours trying to figure out how to connect the various components. The only ‘manuals’ available are YouTube videos on random topics, which are more like promotional content. The sole purpose of these videos is to give you the impression that everything is very simple and works perfectly. Believe me, that’s not the case.

3. As I bought two systems, the PackShot GO Bundle and the Advanced PackShot Master Bundle, I have no intention of throwing €10,500 (excl. VAT) out the window. After a week of testing, I requested the return and refund. A week later, I received the return documents and FedEx labels for dispatch, but FedEx is refusing to collect the parcels because the documents are incorrect.

For the past 8 days, I have received no reply to any of my emails. They are not responding to FedEx’s emails either.

Message to edelkrone:
Please don’t think this may be a way of making me keep the equipment at the end.

Default Payment for EU clients

I live in Ireland (EU), when I purchase, the default should be the DDP, as I end up paying, VAT and Customs and courier processing fees and VAT on these fees.

I love the quality of your products, but the purchase processing is very unsatisfactory. With DJI, there are no such problems, even though they are a Chinese company.
