I purchased the Edelkrone Stand One V2 to have a small support while doing an extensive trail photography shoot in South America. I was attracted to it because of the light weight, flexible leg positions, and ability to add my own compact panning head. The item is well built and performed as expected.

I've used edelkrone solutions for years. The tools are proven and reliable. A one-of-a-kind company, run by forward-thinking management, researching, developing, manufacturing, and marketing best-in-class products. Five stars!

Edelkrone has made a line of high quality products that can endure a large shoot with a small footprint. The eco system works well for both a crew and a solo filmmaker. I shot a short film, commerical, and solo movie with the Headplus, tripod X, DollyV2, and felt like I unlocked a new level of small footprint filmmaking. The app took some time to figure out, but once I learned how to use it, my shoots moved fast and intuitively. I found the only bottle neck was the weight of the products, especially when I was working solo. If you have a grip, gaffer, or PA to help move the system you won’t have a problem.

My favorite out of the eco system is easily the DollyPlusV2, it’s smooth, easy to use, and works with all tripods. This paired with the Headplus is dream.

I found that I needed a full day to learn all the gear and how it corresponded with the app. I would highly recommended mastering the app, and eco system before showing up on set with this because there are a few learning curves you need to calibrate your brain to. Since they’ve updated the app I found it works way better.

Overall, Edelkrone has developed a system that works great for the small footprint filmmaker who has a visions but doesn’t have a crew or big budget.

I was missing a wheel from the older model of the DollyPlus v1 and Edelkrone was kind enough to send me a replacement for free. Though my warranty was expired I only had to py for shipping!!! That was way too cool. customer service is awesome and I love the products they create for my work flow.

After a disappointing experience with an edelkrone purchase in 2024, where the app (android) continually disconnected from my parent devices, I decided to try again after reading that they were working on making improvements to the app. Much to my delight, the problem went away. So I took a leap of faith and I ordered the Edelkrone Jib Plus and Head Plus V3, because the reviews I saw looked so incredible. I have to say I am over the moon about this purchase. The connection to the app is flawless. It is so reliable and easy to use, it almost feels like magic. It feels like having a second cameraman in the room when I'm doing solo shoots. I upgraded it with a v-mount power adapter for cable management. In today's market, it is rare to get a live human being who is competent about the products they are supporting, so anytime I've reached out to customer service I was relieved that I wasn't pushed through a standard Salesforce decision tree or forced to find answers online. In all, Edelkrone won me back, big time. I recommend them to everybody now and I'm so happy with my purchases.
