I charged as I have at any other charger. I returned from lunch after 20 mins to find my car stopped charging after about $2.00. I was charged a $5 idle fee. There were empty chargers next to me an... See more

Just awful company
Just awful company. Many chargers always broken at multiple locations. Speeds, although up to 150 kWh, often just charge at 50 or below. I just don’t understand why the network doesn’t work, or exceedingly slow. Rarely do I get a location that works as it’s supposed to.
Electrify America station, Olhava Way, Poulsbo, WA
The Olhava Way, Poulsbo, WA (Walmart Supercenter) location infrastructure, is always in a shocking state of disrepair. The last time I used it to charge my Porsche, the car had to go the dealership to solve a charging problem caused by the station. EA customer service is also very poor.
Their app won’t allow me to add funds
Their app won’t allow me to add funds. I then have to use a guest account which places a $50 hold on my account. This has happened several times. They say they’ll look into it but never get back to me. I called yesterday and the representative was rude and kept interrupting me.
The chargers do not deliver the level…
The chargers do not deliver the level of charge advertised.
The chargers will not let you charge at available chargers.
The chargers frequently do not work at all.
You can count on being on hold for at least 15 minutes even when you are at a charger seeking assistance. If you are seeking billing resolution, your wait time will be literally five times longer.
Despite multiple opportunities to tell me about beforehand, the company invoked an unannounced 60-day time limit for seeking a refund. I was four days late. I had spoken to a customer service person trying to get the app to work and mentioned needing a refund, during their time limit. No mention made of their time limit. I had spent the over the limit days unsuccessfully trying to test the app on a working charger.
Horrible company from hardware to software to wetware. Looking forward to participating in the inevitable class action lawsuit as my experience apparently not unusual.
Such a fail!
WORST ever.
App says chargers are available but they aren’t.
Chargers which are available often don’t work.
BUT WORST of all is their customer service.
At least 85% of the time I try to…
At least 85% of the time I try to charge my BMW IX at various Electrify America charging stations, I get "reduced power" or "temporarily unavailable" messages when I plug the charger into my vehicle. Most of their stations in Fresno, CA, reduce charging speed from 150KWz to 50Kwz so when their chargers work, they still do not work efficiently.
We have succeeded only 4 out of 11…
We have succeeded only 4 out of 11 times to connect our 2024 etron Q8 for a charge and then have been charged despite having free charging for two years. We have spent over 130 minutes on hold waiting for an agent to help. The online chat says no agents are available. This is not confidence inspiring.

No matter what state or city your in electrify America chargers are mediocre they spend more money on having the station glow green than they do on there machines there apps will says 8 of 8 chargers 350kw but when you get there there’s only one or 2 chargers working and your only getting like 12 kw. They wonder why all these companies are working with Tesla to get on there chargers
