Broken cooker hood. Elica unresponsive

I have a cooker hood.
The plastic is disintegrating after less than a year.
Despite buying from their online site and contacting them, the seller says talk to elica.
Elica don't reply.
Very poor product and service.

Non delivery following missed delivery with no follow up

After i noticed I made a mistake on the delivery address, i tried to correct before delivery, through Elica, DHL and DHL's subcontractor BPost. All 3 companies appear to have have done nothing to resolve the situation despite multiple emails, messages on web site etc.. The ordered part is now returned to Elica but i have heard nothing since. I still await this part delivery urgently, to drop off point in Brussels

From our checks, the delivery address was entered incorrectly during the checkout process and the courier was therefore unable to complete the delivery. The parcel is currently in transit back to our warehouse. Poor customer service set up

Filled in the online form as it was a weekend. Had to chase it up 3 days later to be told it went to Italy. Filled in a new form then with all the same details in. No way for the team on the phone to access the details in the central form. Not sure why the local form isn’t accessible on the website. Very inefficient process. Had the email address been available I could have just emailed them and had a response within a working day.

The first Two did not work.

The first Two did not work.
The first one would not turn on, the display did not even illuminate, the fan ran for 5 seconds as it was supposed to do but the hod would not turn on.
Eventually I managed to get Appliances Direct to send a replacement but initially they instructed me to contact DR Kitchens the importer. The replacement would not work it just gave error codes that wasn’t in the manual as they don’t put the codes in the troubleshooting guide it just directs you to call customer service.
After another call to Appliances Direct they immediately arranged another replacement this was done as a swap when the replacement was delivered.
If any has issues with a product that doesn’t work then I suggest that you know your rights and insist a replacement Swap and dismiss any repair.
I did contact DR Kitchens as instructed by Appliances Direct and filled out a form for the faulty appliance, but as I would need to wait over a week for an engineer and the hob was new I insisted that the hob was replaced as Appliances Direct wanted to collect the faulty one and have it inspected and repaired if possible but that would leave me without a cooking appliance so I insisted on a replacement and the replacement also did not work and again it was going to be over another week before an engineer could attend for an inspection so appliance’s direct sent me a third hob that did actually work. So you were contacted about the first and second faulty appliance.

Purchased an Elica snap air purifier 3…

Purchased an Elica snap air purifier 3 and half years ago packed up after 2 years now out of warranty paid over £150 to get it working now stopped working after 18 months contacted Elica uk DR Kitchen appliance not interested gave me a firm who could help NAC they won’t touch it I’ve got a purifier that doesn’t work and spent over £600 not fit for purpose

The LHOV is a piece of art.

The LHOV is great.
It’s not the easiest to work with though, but once you figure it out, cooking is almost like cheating.

I ordered the Nikola Tesla Flame gas…

I ordered the Nikola Tesla Flame gas hob at the end of August. It finally arrived in January. Communication from the company was non existent and I had to keep phoning the supplier who was unable to give me any reliable updates.
