It's plastic and not stained glass

I ordered this piece in the middle of February it was on a website on Yahoo news when I was reading an article I read all about where they were from and saw their art and the two sisters and then their husband helping so I ordered a shih Tzu because I had just lost my dog when I got the item and saw it was plastic and just painted little squares I was so ticked off I contacted them through their support line and all I got was a bunch of BS I will never buy from this company again and it's a big scam so buyer beware

The cat I ordered is nothing like I seen in picture. Very disappointed...doesn't light up pretty like the picture showed. For the price I paid for it, was not worth it. Shouldn't even give it a 1 rating, should be a zero. Cheaply made.

Huge scam

An advertisement on Instagram showed a company who was shuttering their business and offering a huge sale on remaining product for large, gorgeous stained-glass lamps for $44.95. After ordering, I noticed the shipment coming from China which seemed odd because it was supposed to be handmade lamps coming from within the U.S. When I finally researched the company (which I admit I should have done from the start), I found numerous scam complaints and started to realize the images being shown on their website and social media platforms are AI-generated. I received a product a couple weeks later, but it is about 1/8 the advertised size and made of poorly painted plastic. Absolutely a scam company and I wish I did my research beforehand.

This is a fraud site selling cheap Chinese drop ship items that not only can be bought for half the price on many other sites, but the delivered items are total crap in comparison to the photos of the items for sale.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM

If you could rate something a zero, I would rate them a zero. I cannot believe I fell for that website showing beautiful stain glass decorative lighting… I wish I would’ve come here first. Cheap plastic, smelled like fiberglass resin, hot, glued, electrical cord, nonreplaceable light. And then they tell you if you want the full refund that they advertise, you have to ship it back to Asia, which they admit is extremely expensive, and then once they receive it they will give you a 30% refund, F, they decide the product is in returnable order… I do hope someone has read this before they ordered. What a scam.
I contacted my Bank of America credit card company to put in a dispute. I saw another review that disputed with their credit card company and they did get their money back, so I am certainly praying that I will get it for a refund from my credit card company as well. I will try to remember to come back here and update it if and when I did (or if I do night) Lord, please forgive me for not looking things up and falling for this scam, I’m praying for a full refund in Jesus name, AMEN!
There is one review with five stars, one, very short sentence, with a grammatical error, so it’s probably from within their company. How could anyone possibly like this cheap product?

Rviews for ellie-seattle.com indicate…

Rviews for ellie-seattle.com indicate it is a fraudulent, scam website, with customers overwhelmingly reporting receiving cheap, plastic, miniature dog lamps instead of the advertised "handcrafted" items, often shipped from China. Key details regarding "ellie-seattle.com" (based on Jan-Feb 2026 reviews): Scam Alert: Multiple reports on the Better Business Bureau Scam Tracker label the site a fraudulent operation, often using AI-generated content. DO NOT GIVE THIS SCAMMER YOUR MONEY

DO NOT GIVE THIS SCAMMER YOUR MONEY! Silly me, I got taken in by the Instagram ad and their BS website. Two sisters in Seattle, small business, beautiful hand-crafted stained glass lamps... HA! What arrived was a tiny, cheap piece of Chinese garbage that isn't worth $0.50. When I contacted them to return the item, sharing my concerns about the quality, I was offered a 10% refund for my trouble OR I could return it for a full refund... but I'd have to pay for specialty shipping to China, with extra precautions ($$$) in place to ensure they received it. What a joke. I bought this kitchy little lamp for my father who just lost his dog. To give this as a gift would be insulting. Oh, and did I mention the smell? I probably got some new disease from the fumes emanating from the tiny item. Buyer beware. I wish I'd have thought to check for reviews before ordering.

ZERO if I could

ZERO if I could. Cheap plastic, spray painted, no way to replace a bulb, USB cord not mentioned. ABSOLUTE TRASH. Shipped from CHINA, NOT a Seattle handcrafter as is eluded to on their webite. TEMU literally has nicer things for $5.00. COMPLETE waste of time for a gift and money. RUN from this site.

I wish i could rate them as a - negative 10. I feel like i was duped by their pictures of their products versus the plastic crap they passed off as a regularly over $200 item but due to their closure they are on sale for $44. this was $43 too much. They need to refund everyone who fell for their fake advertising. I would love to send pictures of what i received versus what they advertised. Total junk!!!

Buyer beware!!!

Buyer beware!!!! First of all the lamps are not glass as indicated. It’s cheap plastic. Took forever to receive them. A month later one died and it turns out the wire was melting. Potential fire hazard!!! How do I know the other one won’t do the same? I contacted them via email and was told I would either have to return the item at my expense to Asia, or they can give me a 10% refund! When I wrote back to dispute that decision, they wrote back then offering a 20% refund. Ridiculous!!! I will be disputing this with my bank. Who’s to say they’ll give me any money back at all? I could kick myself for falling prey to this scam! I should’ve went with my first gut instinct that this was false advertising!
