The email and calendars are great and easy to use. The new "other" tab is useful and while I didn't appreciate it at first it's a good way to get spam out of sight without creating rules that conflict... See more

At first, it was difficult to understand how it worked—especially the part about managing contacts—and I still don’t know where the backup files are stored. But it’s the best tool I’ve ever used for managing email accounts.

eM Client is an efficient, stable solution, and I really appreciate being able to manage a large number of IMAP accounts, with proper synchronisation with online services (Google Calendar, CalDav, CardDav, Google Contacts, Slack, etc.). I haven’t encountered any particular issues, and I don’t regret my purchase.
However, I do regret that eM Client doesn’t have a proper HTML text editor for emails (for example, emojis are poorly implemented, and you can’t use keyboard shortcuts) and that the widgets have been discontinued.

It's a good email client, the only problem seems to be that I can't start google meet meeting from the client, I have to go into my gmail and start them there. Otherwise no problems.

I don’t like two things about the mobile version. When I open a file from an email and want to send just that file, without forwarding the entire email, and I choose the option to send via em Client, nothing happens - the email simply doesn’t open. When I used another application, this wasn’t an issue.
The other problem is the search function. It never finds what I’m looking for, or even if it does, it only shows results from the last 30 days. I have thousands of emails going back years, and I can’t search through them at all.
I’m using the free version, if that could be the reason.

i travel back and forth to u.s. every time i crossed the border the nightmare began. i had to run the code gauntlet every time i tried to access my email. it was excruciating. what a relief. thank you so much.
Really impressed with this email program, it has lots of features and has a nice design and a good alternative to Outlook and more pleasing to use too.
Having used Outlook for many years I was having real problems plus I had no interest in paying a fortune for MS365. So I very nervously decided to change. The reviews for eM Client were very good so I gave it a go about a year ago. To date it has been flawless, no problems and does all the basic things I need it for perfectly.
Lacks lots of useful features. Like does not automatically detect the language for a spell check. Every time you have to do 3 steps to select the language manually. The "attach" button gives you a drop out list, where, however, you see no recently opened documents. When you want to move a message to a folder, a drop out menue does not show recently used folders for storage. So, you have to go all the way and select manually. What i liked about the app, is that all senders have clear icons, which Oultook does not do. Connection and synchronisation with calendars works very well.

I love eM Client. The only thing I don't like is that I can use Windows character key shortcuts to type letters with accents for foreign languages.
have been using eset for a number of years and found it very good
Multiple emails in one place.
How do I get my old Apple email to stop stealing emails?

I am using the free version and I am satisfied. Main reason is it’s not a webmail, but a deal email software where you can check your emails offline.
Outlook finally crashed too many times so I moved to EClient.
I REALLY wanted to love it, but there are few things I can't stand, that to me, could easily be fixed:
#1: The order of reading a string of emails is backwards - the NEW string is at the bottom of the sting, making it hard to figure out sometimes, who had the last word (they have been aware of this issue for a long time, but choose not to do anything about it!).
#2: There IS color coding of appts (once you figure out how to do this), but my calendar doesn't always come through with the colors and my calendar will often randomly defaults to all YELLOW appts, which isn't helpful.
#3: Again, something that should not be an issue but is - the spell check SUCKS! Even the most common words get flagged when sending an email and I do mean COMMON, like "which" or "timeshare", etc. I'm just asking for a reasonable spell check and it's definitely not in E-Client (because of this, you have to "accept" about 10-20 "words" every time you hit send on an email - a PITA (oh, did I also mention that it doesn't "learn" the words I do accept...)

I did not choose this programme: when I upgraded my computer to Windows 11, the technician who did the data transfer replaced my Outlook Express with eM Client without first referring to me because he subsequently advised that he thought it was the better of the two and have found systems. I acquiesced to this and have been wholly satisfied with eM Client but I cannot in all honesty say what the advantage is.
