Please be very careful when buying a rose from English Roses. I do not have an issue with the quality of the rose itself. It looks fine. I have issue with the company's marketing and customer services. My 85 mother received a rose for her recently deceased sister "For My Special Sister" was how it is "marketed". This is purely to sell the product as the rose is actually called "For you with love" which is what it says on the pot but the company is 'covered' by the proper name being mentioned in the info below the aforementioned title. This caused distress to my mother who could not understand why it was not named for her sister. The Company's response was I could send it back at my expense....which is not worth doing for the price.
Overall not a good experience as I feel these names are purely created for sales and in this case have caused unnecessary distress.

Ordered a rose for a family members birthday and the whole process was top notch from start to finish. I wrote the delivery address wrong and when I phoned they amended it straight away

My brother Andrew passed away and I wanted to order a rose with his name for them to keep in their garden. I ordered from Australia, abs got to choose the date of delivery. The parcel was wrapped beautifully and the rose is stunning. Very pleased with their service.

The rose was bought for my sister. The website made it clear that you could choose the delivery.

This was important as I needed it to arrive the day before my sister went into hospital for a significant operation.

I had message saying the rose had been dispatched. Then another saying it had been delayed.

So the rose was then to be delivered on the day of the operation when clearly my sister would not be home.

Even though I had requested the rose be left in a specified safe place, both when ordering and when courier messaged, I had another message saying that as my sister was not home it would be delivered the following day.

In short, despite the claims on the website, it seems that you can’t specify the date of delivery.

Worse, I complained and didn’t even get a response!

To be fair the rose was lovely, if in need of watering given the delay in delivery.

The ordering went smoothly . I bought the rose with all the extras for a 70 th birthday. I was encouraged to choose a date so I chose the birthday date. The delivery was a disaster. It arrived 3 days late, once my friend had gone on holiday! It was left on the doorstep. Fortunately I had asked my friend's sister to look out for it. She found it and picked off all the dead buds and kept it watered and presentable for my friend's return. The whole birthday surprise was ruined. Very disappointing.

From placing order with a lovely lady to receiving the rose bush everything was perfect.Good communication and arrived when specified.Sturdy packaging and a rose with many buds and two showing colour - healthy glossy foliage too.I had to unpack as not gifting straight away and found it quite difficult to put back together but I wouldn’t deduct a start for that.

English Roses provided a first class service - FIRSTLY via phone to speak with someone personally who guided me through my recent purchase of a memorial ‘lovely mum’ rose bush, gift card and packaging and……SECONDLY the rose arrived on time, was extremely well packaged and looks so healthy with several buds ready to bloom. I would not hesitate to recommend and use this company again. Thank you.

I decided to send a peace rose in memory of a friend to her husband and family. He phoned to say it had arrived in perfect condition and they were absolutely thrilled. I got one when my husband passed and every year it blooms. The ideal gift.

Arrived beautifully packaged and opened to find a healthy gorgeous rose in a tasteful basket , in memory of my much loved father.

The rose was for a very special event and came on time and in beautiful condition. I was very pleased with the purchase, as were our friends whom it was a gift for!

Easy to order and arrange delivery. Recipient was pleased and commented that rose bush looked very healthy and reassured me that loads of buds ready to burst open soon. As I’m unlikely to see this for a while due to distance it was good to be reassured that gift was the right thing to send.

I purchased a rose for husband in memory of his mum. It arrived next day very well packaged, lots of green foliage and a couple of buds emerging. Can’t wait to see it in full bloom. Excellent service and beautiful plant.

I had contacted another company who did not have any stock of this particular rose. They suggested trying English Roses. They had the rose in stock. I found their website easy to navigate and I loved the gift option in the nice willow planter.
Made my friend cry as it was so perfect and made her think of her Mum who had recently passed.
The communication was excellent and the delivery was fast.

The website purchase proved a little tricky due to a slight temporary glitch with PayPal. However, picked up the phone and spoke to a human ... phew, who was charming, articulate, knowledgable and resolved the problem, ordering the item which was delivered on time and received with great joy. A wonderful company, don't hesitate to use them.
