Mastopexy with internal bra, no implants
Had breast surgery on Monday and all I can honestly say is how happy I’m am with choosing enhance they have been amazing, I nearly changed my mind last minute on the operating table before I was sedated,but I’m so glad I had my surgery with this company, aftercare has also been amazing, will be back for surgery in the future with enhance, dr maklad is an amazing surgeon and my nurse was amazing with me, couldn’t be happier

Breast re augmentation
Unfortunately my surgery had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances however Enhance managed to slot me in with a surgeon 2 days post my original date which was fantastic.
Every member of staff I met along my journey, filled me with complete confidence.

Got my sizing wrong…
Got my sizing wrong emailed to confirm my sizing 3 days before surgery and my patient care coordinator still sent me the wrong size and on the day of surgery did not answer my calls or texts in regarding to this

The implant size used during your procedure was the correct size discussed in detail during your consultation process, agreed upon prior to surgery, and formally consented for as part of the surgical consent process on the day of surgery. We can confirm the implants used matched the agreed surgical plan, and this was discussed thoroughly with you before surgery.
We apologise that there was a typographical error within an email communication, however this did not impact your surgical plan or the implants used during your procedure, which were the correct implants consented for and agreed upon throughout the consultation and consent process.
In relation to communication, your Patient Care Coordinator responded to your email enquiry. On another occasion whilst your coordinator was temporarily out of office, alternative cover was arranged and another member of the team attempted to contact you by telephone, however unfortunately there was no answer.
Following your surgery, we can also see that your post-operative call was completed and no concerns regarding implant sizing were raised at that time.
After receiving this review, we again arranged for your Patient Care Coordinator to contact you directly to discuss your concerns further and provide clarification.
We always welcome honest feedback, however we do feel parts of this review are not an accurate reflection of the care, communication, and consent process provided throughout your journey with us. We hope you may reconsider the wording of your review following further reflection and discussion with the team.

Would highly recommend Enhance Medical to anyone looking for cosmetic surgery. Everyone who I spoke to was super friendly whilst remaining professional. They explained everything fully and answered all my questions. The after care was fabulous. I honestly couldn’t fault them.

Lack of communication skills
I was basically told my natural boobs are medically wrong as I “didn’t develop properly as a kid”… but surgery also won’t look right either. So basically they’ve taken someone who wasn’t insecure before the consultation and wanted the surgery as more of a fun enhancement, labelled my breast as underdeveloped and triangular so I’ve walked out feeling bad about my breast which I didn’t before but now also basically told the implants will look ridiculous leaving me in a no win situation. Natural= insecure now thanks to the surgeon. Implants= will look ridiculous according to the surgeons description. So insecure it is. Wish I never went as I was happy before!

Start to finish! Everyone was so lovely, from my consultation to the surgery! Dr Awad is amazing at what he does, he knew what would suit my frame and explained everything to me and listened to what I wanted. Firstly I would like to say that the 3…
Firstly I would like to say that the 3 stars is a balance between 5 stars for the surgery itself, and 0 stars for the care received by the recovery nursing team. My surgeon performed extremely well and gave great insight into the procedure and all associated risks. Dr Ali the anaesthetist was wonderful, as were the scrub nurses Oliwia and Nibus. Unfortunately, the whole experience came crashing down when I went into recovery and was ‘looked after’ by nurse Oxana. Post-operatively I became panicky as a side effect of the anaesthetic wearing off. As a doctor, I know that this is a common side effect and should absolutely be something that recovery nurses are trained in handling sensitively and compassionately, which was not my experience on any level. As I was crying and hyperventilating, Oxana ‘shhh’ed me and told me to ‘be quiet’. This is out of order and disrespectful and I urge the team to consider providing further training to mitigate this horrible experience happening to others. This completely caused me to spiral and meant my panic attack was more severe and long lasting than it would have otherwise been. Had I been met with reassurance and kindness, I could have calmed down and been less ‘disruptive’ which was clearly all she seemed to care about. As a medical doctor I am also well aware of the ethical laws and principles underlying practice and she did not follow these when she delivered an IM injection of cyclising with no warning shot. Please re-train accordingly. Such a shame as this takes away from an otherwise 5 stars service. I had to mention this as I really do not want future clients to have to endure this mistreatment and lack of compassion.

We are, however, very sorry to hear that your recovery experience left you feeling distressed. Patient comfort, reassurance and safety are extremely important to us, and we genuinely regret that you felt unsupported during what was understandably an emotional and vulnerable moment following your procedure.
We would also like to clarify that the IM injection referenced in your review was anti-sickness medication provided to help manage post-operative nausea symptoms. Our team did ask if you would like this injection and this was discussed with you and consented to prior to administration.
We understand that shortly afterwards you experienced heightened anxiety and a panic attack whilst recovering from the anaesthetic, which can be a fairly common response following surgery and one our staff are trained to support patients through. Oxana spoke with you to better understand the cause of your anxiety and attempted to help reassure and calm you during this time.
Whilst we appreciate this was not how the interaction was perceived by you at the time, we would like to reassure you that Oxana’s intention throughout was to support and reassure you during a heightened situation, rather than dismiss your concerns. We are truly sorry that this did not come across in the way intended and that you were left feeling upset by the experience.
We would also like to reassure you that our team did everything possible to ensure you felt safe and comfortable before discharge, including encouraging you to remain with us for as long as needed. We can see you stayed on the ward for approximately five hours following your procedure, which is significantly longer than the usual recovery period, to allow you additional time and support.
We always take patient feedback seriously and will reflect on your comments carefully as part of our ongoing commitment to patient care and communication. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
