Defective Hearing aid replaced

I had tried unsuccessfully to get an appointment with the NHS (through my Doctor) and my hearing was getting worse. I also continually managed to loose my Hearing Aids. I bought a left and right hand 4th Generation Hearing aid that transformed what I could hear. I was very pleased with them but unfortunately the red (right one) stopped working. I didn't know what to do about replacement. Having visited the website, I received a prompt response and outcome. I am very pleased with their service. Thank you.

This is a warning

This is a warning. Anyone can write a review on Trust Pilot. It is very dangerous to assume that the 5 star reviews for this company are genuine, particularly when, as for this company, there are many 1 star reviews.
Their guarantee is "if you’re not satisfied you're covered with our 30 day performance promise for a brand new pair." so they try to get you to buy their 5th gen version (for an extra £90). No money back promise.

Lured in by Website but Poor Customer Service!

I would not recommend this company, and I shan't be using them for my hearing journey going forward. This is my experience:
Ordered the 4th generation at £160 but they weren't suitable as they are only sound amplifiers, so amplified every noise, crisp packets rustling, keys jangling etc, and in a noisy room they were useless, they only stressed me out as the noise was unfiltered and disorientating.
They agreed to uplift the cost (now up to £250) and send me their 5th generation hearing aids out. They mistakenly sent out a 4th generation set again, so I had to send those back (at my cost?!) and they only shipped the correct 5th gen ones out once they'd received the others back... hmm...
Tried the 5th generation and knew within a day or two they weren't right either as despite having 3 room settings and claiming to be cleverer with a better chip etc etc, I found them to be more of the same, the sound reproduction is poor and also I was getting feedback, echo's and imbalance between the ears. No amount of playing with volume/settings seemed to make them tolerable. Raised this very quickly with them but the customer services seem to want to prevent returns, they will ask you to try all manner of different things, when the truth is you know they aren't right for you! After a couple more weeks of going back and forth with them I still haven't been able to return these for a refund. They are now telling me I'm beyond the 30 day guarantee which is highly disingenuous as most of that time was spent waiting for the correct ones to arrive and them telling me to try different things. It seems this is the tactic so then you can't return them!
I am now resorting to telling others about my dissatisfaction with this company and urge you to think very carefully before investing £100's of pounds in products which may not be right for you and which you will be (so far) stuck with.
The website tells you all about the 5 star reviews, how many people are online ordering their products in real-time as you browse the site, but I suspect this is a marketing veneer and the reality somewhat different. Looking at the mediocre Trustpilot score I suspect I am right.

Brilliant customer service

I work in an emergency service control room and had real difficulty wearing my NHS hearing aids with a headset but these hearing aids fit neatly inside the ear and make wearing a headset comfortable. I now hear so much better. Not only that. When I dropped one of the aids onto a hard floor and it no longer charged the company offered to replace it free of charge. Brilliant customer service and a great product.
Update. My replacement aid was delivered within days as promised. I can't praise them highly enough.

I purchased a pair of 4th generation…

I purchased a pair of 4th generation hearing aids in May and they have really helped with my hearing particularly when watching TV. I no longer have to turn the volume right up and have it too loud for my wife!
After 6 months the left one failed and after I contacted EShearing and told them about the problem they have replaced it free of charge.
Great product and good after service.

Purchased one of their hearing aids…

Purchased one of their hearing aids last week
It's not fit for purpose, while it may help some people,it's no use for me
It doesn't help with tinnitus as they say
It doesn't filter any background noise when it does actually sort of work it doesn't make anything clearer just a louder muffled sound
I'm trying to get a return address but I'm being ignored on the phone on whattsap and via email, I will use claim back to get my money back ,and if they dont give me a return address
I'll stick it in the bin

Terrible experience

I made two mistakes getting aids from this company. One, I read their on line review and two, I did not read real live reviews on trust pilot. Their reviews were all 5 star, where on trust pilot the reviews were the same as my experience. First off it seems to me they just amplify the sound. Can hear people speak but for example putting cutlery away made it too loud. They also did not help one bit with my tinnitus. Most importantly they were too big for my ear canal. When I did get them in they were too painful to keep in. I was told if I give them another £90 they will send me behind the ear ones. Throwing good money after bad I think. Please think very carefully before buying from them. After sales service is so poor. If you have never had in the ear aids before don’t buy. They say they are the smallest on market. Aye right. For me, the aids DO NOT work. I think have been conned. Not a nice feeling. Trying through pay pal to get money back.

Nasty people to deal with

Nasty people to deal with. I bought a pair of their 4th gen aids which proved to be useless. The adjusting controls were virtually impossible to use, and they had to be turned down so low to avoid the whistling there was hardly any amplification. They were also difficult and painful to remove from the ear. Various emails went back & forth, ESH trying to convince me that it was all my fault, offering 5th gen (behind the ear) aids at £90 extra, finally threatening me with all sorts of dire consequences should I have the audacity to malign them publicly. I returned the aids (Royal Mail special delivery) and am currently battling with PayPal to obtain my refund. I fully expect to have to resort to the small claims process. Please don't make the same mistake as me - if you need aids, don't try going cheap - go to a reputable company.

I researched various products I wanted…

I researched various products I wanted a quick fix mainly to demonstrate to myself my hearing was deteriorating, however I was still apprehensive how efficient, useable and discreet any product would be, some family members have spent thousands of pounds on various hearing aids, whilst at various social family events I was the clear winner 👍
