dollars after having paid 11 dolars for the shipping when i bought the item, Take your buinsess elsewhere.I bought a light kit for a trailer hitch. They told me it would fit my sorento but that statement was very misleading as in order to fit my Sorento you have to do splicing of wires that are not the same size. The company advertises free return which is also misleading as they require for you to pay for the return.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. I placed an order on the 31st that said it would arrive at my house by the 11th. The very next day, they emailed me saying they're forwarding it to a partner to fulfill and that it won't ship until the 15th. I then requested a cancellation.

The rep said they sent a cancellation email that same day, the 1st. Three days later, I had a call to get an update on the status. They claimed they're still waiting to hear back from the vendor, so I called the vendor directly after hassling them on the phone to get the vendor's name.

That vendor confirmed they did not receive an email on the 1st, that they actually got it on the 3rd, and that they approved the cancellation the following day.

Not only did they lie, but they've been holding my money longer than they needed to, even though the order has already been confirmed canceled by the vendor. They're a total scam company. Avoid them at all costs. Order from any other website but their website. All they do is lie and make your life difficult. Terrible, terrible, terrible company

I purchased this hitch for a 2024 GMC Acadia. The holes did not align with the factory mounting points on the vehicle. After spending several hours troubleshooting the installation, I had to enlarge two mounting holes in order to get it installed.

The product is marketed as a custom-fit hitch receiver, so I should not have had to modify it to fit the vehicle it was designed for.

When I contacted customer service, I was told that modifying the hitch could affect its strength and that I should buy another one. I was not asked any questions about how the hitch failed to align, nor was there any apparent interest in determining whether the hitch I received was out of spec. Instead, the focus was on the fact that I modified it rather than investigating why a custom-fit hitch did not align with the factory mounting points. Their solution was effectively for me to spend more money on another hitch without any reassurance that it would fit properly.

Based on my experience, this hitch did not fit my 2024 GMC Acadia as advertised and I would not recommend this company at all.

Kate did a fantastic job of not only answer my application question for my vehicle, but also paid close attention to the details within her answer and proactively addressed other questions that I may have had without asking her to.

I tried the things Jesse suggested but unfortunately nothing has changed. Tablet still turns off when starting to boot up.

Send me a hitch that didnt fit. They told me to stretch it so I took it to a shop and had it done. Sent them what I thought was a super reasonable bill and asked them to cover part of it since they would be having to ship me a new one. They only gave me $40 even though the agent said it would have cost them $80 to get me a new one. I gave them the option to do the right thing and they didn't. Have the emails to prove it. kaleighh at etrailer dot com you are not very honest or nice. Shame on you buddy. Construction of the hitch was good thats why 2 starts.

Thorough response, friendly response from Claire. This is probably feedback for the site architecture, but it can be a little misleading to have the obvious links to products mentioned in the post. Due to the nature of my question, some of the products mentioned in the response were incompatible. I think it would make sense just to have links to the compatible products in Claire‘s answer leading the post.

The customer service was great. Even though the parts did not fit They were quick to answer the phone and emails even on a Saturday /so would recommend this company to any one

I was fixing a home made trailer and went by the mesurements as there was no part numbers left. They didn't have an exact match so I called to duble check. The lady who answered was super nice and very helpful. I told her sense the new spring set was taller that I would have to do both springs on the single axel trailer, and I need 3 "sets" of hangers as one spring has 2 hangers and the other only had 1. She never said that 1 set isn't 1 hanger but 2. So now I have an extra set I had to send back and was charger return shipping for parts I didn't need. So I would say get part or upc numbers and order it your self so you car read the checkout list

I ordered 4 bearing sets and they were all loose in a box with inadequate wrapping. I’ve never received products from etrailer shipped like this.

Totally INCORRECT information. I have spoken with people at InterVac Design and they have told me that the CS8 CANNOT be used with the VacPort. There is NO connection on the CS8 for the VacPort hose to connect to. Rather, eTrailer has TWO (2) options. The CS9 and the CSRM both have the correct connection. The CSRM has an extra circuit board that causes the unit to automatically start when the VacPort opening is lifted and the CS9 does NOT have that circuit board requiring manually turning on the unit when the VacPort is to be used.

at first I was questioning trailer hitch purchase. my mechanic told me it would require drilling frame despite etrailer description. I went to one of their recommended installers and they had it installed in an hour. very much appreciated customer support from etrailer and performance trailers for their excellent service.

Etrailer gave me the wrong information about the rails I ordered and I only found out after contacting the manufacturer for the product. They claimed they couldn't cancel my order because it was already processed (good thing they didn't since I didn't need to return THAT product), but I didn't receive shipping info for several more hours.

Matthew from customer service ran me around in a circle about my rails, just to tell me to contact the manufacturer without letting me know that the hitch I bought wouldn't even work for my truck. Don't trust this company to look out for you as a customer or consumer. They give off the vibe that they can do whatever they want because they have some sort of monopoly on the market (not completely true).
My next hitch I'm definitely buying straight from the manufacturer or Amazon.
