Robert H Ingersoll and his brother Charles founded the Ingersoll Watch Company, one of the oldest American watchmakers. The Ingersoll brothers were pioneers of industry and invention in the field of watchmaking. They devised and followed an ambitious plan: to offer Ingersoll watches to the general public at an affordable price, whilst maintaining real quality and credibility.
Based in New York City, each watch was initially produced by hand, but in 1892, thanks to Henry Ford, Ingersoll succeeded in developing a production line for pocket watches and wristwatches.
With high quality production, precision components and the very reasonable price of $1.00 (a day's wages at that time) the so-called ‘Dollar Watch’ was born.
The Dollar Watch was so popular that over one million were sold.
The Ingersoll Watch Company grew with the demand and made new advances in watch manufacturing; developing the functions and features of Ingersoll watches to create:
The smallest existing pocket watch.
‘RADIOLITE’: the first glow in the dark watch.
The first ever military watch, which was designed with the involvement of the armed forces.

for now I can't say too much about the product, as it has yet to arrive after 13 days of purchase. I can say one thing, you cannot rely on the post office to ship a watch.
update on 08/02. the package is still at the exchange center from 27/01. INGERSOLL shipments cannot be entrusted to the post office!

The only point to improve could be to warn more visibly on the price without taxes on the web site (even if after check it is well mentioned but I jump on the highly visible price). Indeed I had to pay additional taxes (75€) via the transport company.

Low quality, not reliable!
Not reliable, cheap movement watches made in China. Mine has disintegrated on the way as the rotor was not screwed enough! Even more, I paid 50 euros in customs taxes. Avoid this brand!

I love my Herald Ingersoll 1892 watch, the shipping was great too! It was said it would be shipped within the next two weeks of ordering because of the holiday break, it came in the mail at the end of the first week!

Delivery and support service failure
The e-shop failed to deliver my order in time. Neither the shop, nor the delivery service can not provide me with any information about the approximate date of delivery whilst all time limits are exceeded. What’s more, the company’s support service seems to be unhelpful.

free shipping mentionned on their website but had to pay 18€ of shipping services.
Didnt gave my consent for Fedex expedition in the payment process (no sign, no checkbox, nothing), It's just said tax are on our charge in small typo (why dont set it in red or in pop up ? Hope you like your customer to pay a 28% of the price in extra)
Quality not worth 500€ with tax. Fossil or other brand have same for 200€. Saw the same watch on zalando.com.. without taxes. I'm feeling very disapointed.
And please don't copy paste me your sh*** explanation i'm not speaking of taxes here, Free shipping is not 18€ of services and you can't deny with your copy paste block.

Great time piece
It was not my first contact with Ingersoll. Previously, I bought an Ingersoll Seattle as a gift for my father, in 2017, when he turned 70. This time, the watch I bought was a gift as well, only it was for my son's 18th birthday. According to him, the watch looks great and it feels amazing wearing it around the wrist. The value for money seems fair and the delivery was just as advertised, although I have encountered a short delay, due to our national customs regulations, which apply for merchandise bought from countries that are not EU member states. All in one, a good experience. I will probably repeat it sometimes.
